The hotel had a rich history that we realized carried across the generations, descendants of the original owners still worked at the hotel and with love. The parking was right next to the building, the food and drinks were delicious, and the morning breakfast was charming and quaint, overall a great stay we would highly recommend Casey's Hotel.

Even though the room was a single, so I was expected a small room, it was very comfortable with a huge bed. I had dinner and the food was fabulous. Also, breakfast, fab.

Very modern hostel in a great location! The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The self check in was no problem at all. I was even able to borrow a towel because I forgot mine. I'd highly recommend staying here if you want to explore west cork.

Mary & John looked after us so well, rooms are modern and well appointed, dinner was divine especially the mussels caught fresh that morning, breakfast was to order and the perfect start to our day after a stunning sunrise over the hills and pier! We really enjoyed exploring the area and will be back as there is so much to see and do.

Absolutely immaculate accommodation with lots of space and very friendly and helpful management. Well over and beyond the call of duty I'd say. Arrived late but it was no problem. Left to our own devices on the whole with advice on trips when needed. EXCELLENT.

Pat, the host was lovely. He called us to make sure we were on our way and made sure that the house was warm and cozy for our arrival. The views from the property are beautiful 😍 My family, including the dog, had a fab time.

The location was perfect, within easy reach of the town. The lodge had a beautiful view. It was a very good size, comfortable and had almost everything you needed. It was a bit tired but felt like home. I liked that we could use the fire and bring our own Christmas tree. Sheila is very helpful.

We got a warm welcome by Mary. The house was super with an amazing view. There were several beautiful pathways to the private beach. It is also perfect for our dog 🐕. Ardnagashel is a great base for checking out that amazing area, like Healy Pass and the Ring of Beara.

Good location, short drive into both Bantry & Glengariff.

Good location, short drive into both Bantry & Glengariff. Beautiful ocean views and saw many rainbows from the property. Excellent breakfast. Mo's hospitality was over the top in every way. Advised us of places to see off the beaten path. Gave us great dining recommendations in both Glengariff & Bantry. We had already been in Ireland for a couple weeks so we a wanted a bit more of a relaxed itinerary so we explored Garnish island, Beara Peninsula, & Gougane Barra monastery. We thoroughly enjoyed our time visiting with Mo. Hope to return again some day real soon.

Harbour view stay made us very comfortable and welcome.

Harbour view stay made us very comfortable and welcome. The restaurants were very pleasant and the surrounding area a must to see with Dunboy Castle and Puxley Mansion. The copper mines and museum 20 mins away is a must. Short or long stay it can provide all you desire. But do make sure to visit Mac Carthy’s Bar. A great relaxing evening is assured.

Our 3 night stay at Mossies was the highlight of our holiday in Ireland. Felt like home away from home. Every detail was carefully crafted by Matti and Vanessa to ensure we had a good stay. Sitting outside around a fire pit on a clear calm evening was a wonderful treat. We wish we lived closer!

Silence, natural beauty, if you want to really get away and enjoy simplicity and nature, this is the place for you. Have to travel a few kilometres for restaurants and bars but this is a good thing, because it means you will rarely meet many cars or people.

The area was beautiful but the property was not well maintained with overgrown garden. The outdoor table collapsed and decking neglected. The beds were old with mattresses well past use by date. House was not as described and in sad state from leaking gutters on roof, unsafe walkways outside. Access to outside doors denied due to broken locks. Broken locks and hinges on windows. The second tv did not work. Bathrooms full of mould and dirty house. Due to lack of maintenance this property should not be rented out in current state.

First Class - excellent staff throughout the Hotel - highly professional and friendly with it. Main dining room has to be experienced - attendance is an event in itself. Lovely food served in a timely way. Waiting staff are great to watch at work and they do what they do in a quiet but showy way. Lovely to sit in the hall and enjoy the two log fires and the comfy arm-chairs. A relaxing stay at a lovely hotel in a great location. Old fashioned but we like it that way - no squeaky floorboards - calm and quiet.

Lovely escape to a bit of peace and tranquility.

Lovely escape to a bit of peace and tranquility. There is plenty to do in the area - hikes, Dursley cable car, Bear Island - but equally lovely to enjoy relaxing in a pub or playing scrabble in front of a fire. The people are very friendly and the restaurants are fantastic- wonderful food and great atmosphere. Highly recommended if you want to go off grid and relax.

The accommodation was second to none and we loved the Wild Atlantic Bar for food. Close to Glengarriff Dursey Beara and SheepsHead. Also hosts recommended Dunneen gardens and a swim in a local cove. All were exactly to suit us. The peacefulness of the gardens at Mossies and views were outstanding. Will definitely be back and have recommended it.

A beautiful village in its own right, Glengarriff is also central to several tours of the wider area. There are a couple of good pubs with music most nights in the summer as well as a couple of decent restaurants. The nature reserve in the woods is a fantastic place for a picnic. A great place for a family break.
