We had a great stay at Mama Tia! Yacob and his family are great hosts, they offered tour to help us discover the Toraja culture and it was super interesting. The guesthouse is located in rice fields, room is clean and well equipped, super wifi. Common bathroom clean. Nice terrace overlooking the fields. Breakfast good and tasty. We even had dinner there (additional cost but as good as in any restaurant!) 100% would recommend.

Definitely recommend ! James and Rian are very hospitality and caring, you will definitely feel like home. One of Must do list in Toraja will be catting with them, you can truly know new generation thoughts about their culture, quite inspiring ! And if you have any questions, they basically can give you resolutions and recommendations, so helpful ! BTW their English is high level, had good communication! Miss them already and their little cute son ❤️ The room is not luxury but very organic and clean !

Staying in a tongkonan is a once in a lifetime experience, Aldi and his family do their best to make sure you have a pleasant stay in their homestay, i had a good time. This special place is not far from Rantepao, but in the countryside, so the atmophere is quiet and relaxed, i even had the chance to have real indonesian/toraja dinner and breakfast with them. You can also have a glimpse of real toraja life when they show you how they feed their animals or collect the local beverage from the trees.

The room and all facilities are really clean, we enjoyed the breakfast every morning, location is good only a short drive to the main road and quiet location. The bed was really comfy and good shower pressure. The best part was our hosts, Bella and her parents!
