We stayed 3 nights here but wish we had stayed one night more. The hotel has contacts that can pick you up and drop you off from the airport. This is a small (about 6 rooms) establishment, so the service felt personal. A-la-carte breakfast was included in the price of the room. The restaurant also served lunch and dinner, which was handy as there were no shops near the hotel. The room was huge and clean. The swimming pool was big and it was deep enough for us (185cm tall), which was good. We attended the Monsoon Forest Tracking and Menjangan snorkelling with them. We highly recommend the snorkelling. It was a private tour with the property's boat, and the price was good. The property has a mobile massage therapist contact that would come to the room. Special thanks to Ketut with his excellent service! Amazing value! Would stay again.

The best thing about this place is Ms Ida and her staff. They are so friendly and helpful. They will help organize everything you would like to do and tailor it to your needs. My daughter and I had a wonderful stay here.

Made has been an outstanding host. One of the best we had during our Bali’s trip. He’s kind, discreet and will exchange about the Balinese culture thoroughly. Our discussion will stay in our mind for a long time. The cottages are clean, cute and the pool with the view in the rice fields is soothing and peaceful. Moreover, his wife is an incredible cook as we ate the fish with the special Umma sauce that was very tasty. I can’t recommend enough to drop to Umma Bali if you are staying around Permuteran area. Yuda was an exceptional host, booking us jungle trekking and a snorkeling tour and making our stay very comfortable. The homestay is lovely and great value with great breakfast each morning. We were also lucky to be upgraded to the hut at the back of the property. We were picked up each day for our activities and Yuda even rented us a scooter to see other sights and temples. If you want a low-key but lovely place to base yourself to enjoy Bali Barat National Park, then book here!
