Outstanding hotel. Definitely the nicest on Gili T, we can't wait to come back! The staff were lovely, the room and pool areas were beautiful and clean. Lovely facilities on the beach. The breakfast was the best we had during our trip to Indonesia.

This is paradise! It’s so clean and crisp. The water is warm, the three pools heavenly. Many sun beds, great food, superb beach bar and the friendliest crew who can help you with any activity, snorkel rental, and whatever you need. Definitely a must visit! We had one of the separate cabins and extended for a day! The best? The outdoor bathroom! Like you literally stand on your own deserted island with cactuses and white sand!

Literally everything. Loved the fact that everything was pink, smelled amazing and was clean. Very nice location, nothing was in the wrong place, we had every comfort. Moreover, staff were simply amazing, truly kind and helpful. We had help in renting bikes and in booking the boat back to Bali (inclusive of transfer to our next stop in our trip) for a very cheap price! Breakfast also was a nice touch, varied and delcious.

Indonesia's Laid-back Lombok

A great alternative to busy Bali is lazy Lombok, a more authentic representation for tourists who wish to explore one of Indonesia’s more than 17,000 islands. It is separated from its naughty neighbor by the Lombok Strait to the east and from Sumbawa by the Alas Strait to the west.

Lombok is a typical island paradise of paddy fields, pristine beaches, jungle escapes and mountain retreats. It is largely inhabited by the local Sasak people with a small percentage of Balinese settlers.

Many hotels on Booking.com are centred around the capital of Mataram and the beaches stretching along the north-eastern coastline, including the sweeping bays of Senggigi. Medana Bay is another great northern location for people wanting to visit the nearby Gili Islands, a wonderful snorkeling location and nightlife choice.

Escape the tropical heat in the mountains surrounding Gunung Rinjani, an active volcano where tourists can break in their newly acquired trekking shoes. Other adventures abound on the southern surf beaches of Lombok.

Lombok International Airport is located 33 km south-west from Mataram and services daily flights mainly from Jakarta and Bali. This round-shaped island is approximately 80 km in both directions and offers plenty of variety for a great holiday.

Our villa was private, spacious, and beautifully designed, with a big private pool that offered stunning views of the beautiful hills, it was such a peaceful and relaxing spot. The staff truly made our stay unforgettable. They were always smiling, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They even prepared & packed our breakfast for the last day since we left very early in the morning. Whether it was relaxing by the pool with its breathtaking views or enjoying the beachfront cabanas, every moment felt like a dream. The breakfast was fantastic, and the food at the restaurant was consistently delicious. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and can't wait to return!

Beautiful Hotel! It had some mixed reviews, so we went there to check it out and decided to stay there in less than a minute. Amaazing kindly staff, the pool is the perfect spot to chill out and watch the sunset! Lovely rooms. Was nice to feel luxury after some hostel travelling :) Room is nice and a good mattress. And the breakfast options. Wooooow! So many choices and it’s just delicious! So if you have a bit more budget treat yourself for a night or so. You won’t regret it!

You can't really compare it to anything else. It was probably the most expensive accommodation we stayed in on holiday, but definitely the most special also. The views from the room are awesome and the infinity pool is very atmospheric, with a perfect view of the ocean, the rice fields and the peaks of Rinjani on a clear day. It is definitely worth spending a few nights here if you are travelling to Lombok.

I love the pool, friendly staff, nice and quiet, but not too far away from the beach and all you need. I loved that they do not have plastic water bottles at all. Fresh refills in glass bottles when you need water. I recommend hiring a bicycle they supply for IDR 50,000 a day.

A bustling town with much to explore and many bars and restaurants to choose from. When we come again (and we will) we would like to do more trips exploring the outlying areas. Our main purpose for travel was to attend a wedding at Selong Selo resort (also fabulous with spectacular views) so we didn't do much exploring this time. It was sad to see so much plastic rubbish on roadsides. The infrastructure, at the moment, does not deal with this but efforts are being made.

The Gili Islands are beautiful, if you can look past the masses of European tourists who have overwhelmed it and who seem determined to create a French Riviera experience in Indonesia. Unfortunately, the locals - seeing where the money is - seem content to allow their island to be overrun. If you want to get gratin dauphinois or eat in a Greek cafe called Santorini in Indonesia whilst competing with the rest of the EU for a square of beach or to see a poor beleaguered turtle, then Gili islands is for you. If you're looking for an authentic Indonesian beach experience, go elsewhere.

Stayed at tne katamaran hotel, stunning hotel with great food and provided a restful quiet break in stunning surroundings. Both restaurants on site provided great food. The spa was also gorgeous. The entire stay was heavenly! Alu at tne senggigi ferry port organised an amazing day snorkelling at three of the Gili islands. Paradise!

A small island featuring numerous resorts with white sand beaches, making it a very relaxing destination. The best grilled fish we had was at Tika Warung during our 35-day trip across Indonesia, including Bali, Gili, and Lombok, prepared by a fisherman‘s wife. However, we were disappointed that we couldn't rent an electronic scooter; only bikes or horse-drawn carts were available. The local family who manage Green Haven Homestay are so...

The local family who manage Green Haven Homestay are so welcoming and friendly. They will do almost anything to cater for travellers, for example I am 68 and wouldn’t have been able to do the 6 km walking tour up and down hills and uneven surfaces so they organised a motorbike tour which was great. The tour of the villages was also good and very interesting and informative to see the local market, pottery being made, textile weaving and bamboo weaving. There was a good variety of food and the family dinner was wonderful, so much delicious local food. The accommodation was suitable in a peaceful environment. I really enjoyed my stay.

Selong belanak is a charming location with friendly locals...

Selong belanak is a charming location with friendly locals and great food! Main beach Munah is buzzing with people holidaying and learning to surf With Warungs along the beach you can grab a board or a cold Bintang and enjoy the water Homestays are the way to go but there are also Also beachfront restaurants and resort style places. Beautiful surrounding areas and still quite enough to enjoy local farming I hope it stays this way and foreign resorts do not take over.

Was exhausted after Mt.

Was exhausted after Mt. Rinjani climb and this impacted on my exploration of the wider area, which I would've liked to have done more of. Also despite being officially the 'dry season', the weather was often overcast and rainy. I think had things been slightly different and I had had more time, the experience would have been better.. But still a lovely place that has less tourists than other parts of Indonesia.

Strawberry picked was fun.

Strawberry picked was fun. Look at google maps to find places with at least 5 good reviews to find somewhere to go. Hiking Pergasagan Hill and spending the night was amazing! Only thing to note though is that there are a lot of mosques here and they are VERY loud. We didn't get much sleep during our stay.

Small island but has everything, the local are very friendly...

Small island but has everything, the local are very friendly, so many bar and nice restaurants, few places for party as well and of course crystal clear water and white sand beaches are perfect for relax but live music after sunset is my favorite in Gili Trawangan! I just wished that the club would open later than 1am but i guess that’s the local regulations so i get that.
