BelgiumWe had one of our nicest stays ever here. We stayed in the little house which is so beautiful and comfortable. Ayu and Markus are so friendly and welcoming, it is 100% the feeling of a homestay. The garden is beautiful and the little pool is excellent for refreshment. It's far away from the road, so no noise from the street. Only the sound of the mosque comes through. The kitchen is wel equipped and there's a ping-pong and pool table. We were sad to leave after a week!

As non surfers we only stayed two days, but a really great place to spend time and relax.
It's in a great spot and it was wonderful to arrive and see the infinity pool with the waves beyond .
The hotel facilities were first class (although we only stayed in a double room ) : the beds were incredibly comfortable with super deep mattresses! And such a nice touch to have such deliciously scented toiletries in the bathroom.
We ate in the restaurant daily and the food was delicious: great breakfasts and fresh juices : and such a great view from the ocean from the open dining room.
Loved the iced coffees too; and the attention to detail and exceptional service: chilled glasses of water were delivered to our little table at the pool.
The staff and manager were polite, friendly and engaging : we loved our stay; thanks for having us and we very much hope to come back!

Were here during a soft opening, as work is still on going, but it hasn't disturbed our stay.
Once the infinity pool is completed it will be one of the most scenic, relaxing retreats to enjoy in Bali..

The owner (Ardamiyah) truly spoiled us and made us feel completely at home. From breakfast in bed and her delicious coffee to thoughtful little things like taking our laundry to the cleaners, everything was done with genuine care.
We’ll never forget that she even let us borrow her scooter. Since it took me a long time to get my driver’s license, being able to finally enjoy riding around this beautiful island meant so much to me.
She has a wonderful family with strong sons and a creative daughter. Every detail here was filled with kindness and heart.

SwedenIt was perfect in every aspect. Best breakfast I’ve had so far in Bali. Rooms are nice (even though I personally prefer an actual duvet instead of just sheets) and you slept like a baby. Was literally a one minute walk from medewi point, and the surf there is just always great.
But the absolute best point is Agus. He’s the owner, and he is simply the best. Offered surf lessons, bike rides, and just talked with you a lot. He really gave you the time of day, just like the rest of his staff. They could fix goddamn anything.

I enjoyed the silence at night very much, which allowed me to have a good night sleep in the comfy bed. But apart from that, this hotel didn’t fulfill my expectations. There was no drinking water, and at the reception they didn’t sell any. Because the entrance path was under water, I walked along the road at night with lots of trucks passing very closely to buy some water. So better come with enough drinking water. The shower didn’t work properly, the shampoo dispenser was empty, the bum shower had low pressure so I used my own tissues. This hotel hasn’t been maintained, but I was thankful that I could spend the night there as my ferry from Java arrived when night was falling. For a single night I definitely recommend that place instead of traveling further at night.

this place i a hidden pearl amongst an island that is known for it’s beauty. it does honor to the concept of a homestay, as it feel like a home from home! Muklis and the rest of the guys are very passionate about what they do and it shows. if you have good vibes, this place return those exact vibes! Every surfer will find something for them here and their non surfing companions will soon be tempted to try it and leave possessing some skill after even a single session with the amazing surf coaches.

A really quiet corner of Bali.
A really quiet corner of Bali. You rarely see many tourists in the area. Everyone greets you as you walk along the roads or beach. If you want night clubs and European restaurants this isn't the place for you. If you want traditional Bali then get up their quick before it becomes commercialised.

This part of Bali is reminiscent of the Bali that existed around Kuta 42 years ago. Rice paddies, beach, mountains…back to nature. It’s a peaceful part of Bali and we hope it stays that way as long as possible. We only stayed one night but would love to come back with family. Some of the sights around Bali are easier to access from here. Definitely recommend Puri Dajuma Eco Resort to explore this part of Bali and some of the rest of it.

Chilled mostly, bunches of Canggu ? surfer kooks in the morning in surf.
Locals/expats are great, great little community you can wrap your head around as a Lombok expat.
Less choices is sometimes better, easy to get info and shared knowledge.
Gilmanuk road is not for the beginners...nor is the big surf.
