The location was excellent as it is close to Monkey Forest road, therefore I could walk to all the nearby restaurants and coffee shops. If you would like, you can also walk to the forests and rice fields. The hotel is very new, and furniture is very upper class. The pool area is wonderful and secluded, and you feel as though you are in an enchanted forest. The staff were excellent, professional, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is basic, but sufficient. If you are afraid of gecko's, its best to ask for a room on the higher floors. The bathrooms and the apartment was spacious, and had a lovely nature atmosphere to it.

Absolutely love it. What makes this hotel stand out isn't just the beautiful forest view or the private pool, but the staff. 100/10 for them. The Balinese team is so welcoming and respectful; they take pride and pleasure in ensuring you have a memorable stay. The staff was amazing, giving the attention, smiles and all help you need. The hotel is close to many restaurants, shops, but at the same time it is not directly in the busiest streets of Ubud, so you can relax from the crowds in the streets. We rented a motorbike in the hotel, everything went smooth, but for many attractions in Ubud centre you might need to walk for more then 2-4 km, which was ok for us. As it was the average price in Ubud for a stay with breakfast, we got more then we expected and we are thankful for all staff who made our first stop in Bali a real pleasure.

Staff were amazing. The breakfast is included and is outstanding. You can have it delivered to your private patio. There is a shuttle for free that takes you downtown. The hotel has an art gallery, a spa and an outdoor yoga space. Could not be nicer! Restaurant is also incredible and well priced.

We had an outstanding stay the the Taman Amartha Hotel in Ubud! the facilities were perfect, clean and a great value for the price. the staff was kind and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. The location was just a 15 minute walk outside of the main district but that was perfect since main street in Ubud can be a little chaotic with heavy traffic. We would definitely stay again if given the chance.

The Royal Pita Maha hotel is fantastic. It is located on a slope and the view from the villa was captivating. The complex has ponds, lots of vegetation and flowers that contribute to complete relaxation. The staff was extremely kind and courteous, always smiling. They answered all our questions comprehensively. All our wishes were fulfilled. We never knew when they cleaned the villa, but whenever we returned to it everything was neatly arranged and there was always a pleasant surprise waiting for us- the bathtub decorated with flowers, beautifully shaped towels on the bed, fresh fruits, etc - everything a person could wish for a truly relaxing holiday. The restaurant offers a variety of extremely delicious food that satisfies different tastes. Special thanks to Dewi Andeni, who was extremely kind - she told us about the history and culture of Bali, which made our stay even more pleasant and memorable. And the SPA- The massages were fantastic - exceeded my expectations. Putri is a great therapist - thank you I highly recommend The Royal Pita Maha for an unforgettable holiday in Bali.

The resort is exceptional. Be prepared for a fair drive from the airport....but it's absolutely worth every second. The rooms are incredible, the views are to die for, and the service that all the staff provide really makes this a fantastic place to stay for a few days...we were there for 6 nights in total and we wished we were staying for longer. The photos of the hotel make it look incredible, but it's even better when you actually experience it.

Pleasant, many restaurants to please anyone. Cultural experiences within walking distance. Safe and friendly. Dining in restaurants includes a service tax and government tax on top of the menu item prices. For a family, head to the Coco supermarket, central to Ubud (tesco/Coles equivalent).

The place and surroundings are exactly what I expected and...

The place and surroundings are exactly what I expected and sometime exceeded my expectations, magical place that captivates you and you feel like never leave the place. All the activities are relatively nearby like rafting, swings, quad-biking in the forest and above all, my favourites are waterfalls.

We attended a wedding at a large resort near by. We were able to walk between the two along the beach or on a path, making it the perfect place to enjoy the wedding and be with friends and have our own quiet villa to enjoy!

It is remote location with not much accessibility to shopping, restaurants, and other activities. Recommended for people who prefer calm and quiet area and has vehicle for commutation. No spas available nearby, need to go to Ubud center.

It's a lovely area much quieter than Ubud but still lots of cafes etc. The Instagrammers taking selfies is a bit over the top...but they're everywhere. Great views of the rice terraces and beautiful waterfalls and temples in the area.

Beautiful sea view, near to sanur, denpasar, and ubud, but beach has plastic and wooden trash. During rainy season, moths come out every where outside and inside villa. Kitchen is separate from the villa, overall, villa needs upgrade.

The beautiful areas of Sukawati require a car/driver. We went to the art market which was nice, but you could get this art anywhere in Bali for the same price. I hadn't been before and wouldn't stay here again, it's a bit 'commercial' and not tailored to tourists. The villas we stayed in were beautiful, quiet and off the main street, but there was nothing to do (other than get a driver).

What I loved most about Ubud was our residence, Seven Stones. The view was absolutely breathtaking and perfectly captured the true essence of Ubud - serenity, lush greenery, depth, and a sense of inner peace. We didn’t go out much, simply because we didn’t want to leave. At some point, I realized I felt like I was living in a magical world -detached from time, noise, and everyday reality. Seven Stones gave me that authentic Ubud feeling that truly makes you want to come back.

We didn’t stay the cliff to get to villa was too steep, to walk down for me and especially my 71 yr old mother. Place is old can use a coat of paint and some maintenance work done. Being there any person is a completely different appearance than marketing photos. We were such in a hurry to leave this sight and find other accommodations that I didn’t think to take photos. This was one of those things where a picture is worth a thousand words.
