Breakfast was great, restaurant is very good as well. Staff was very helpful and kind. They keep the low price by not having all the services in-house. Instead if you want a massage, they will book a third party masseuse to come to their massage room, as an example. Another example would be laundry - they will collect and send to third party laundry service. It was nice to chill at the private pool and at the restaurant.

This place was brand new as of September 2025. Beautiful, high quality construction, spacious, stylish room, super comfortable bed and pillows. The place was located at the end of a street by a big, green field, very peaceful and calm location, away from traffic, and serene feeling of space around. Value for money was unmatched during my trip, very highly recommended!

The hotel has 3 swimming pools, beautful garden and good restaurant where sometimes are partys, like Reggae night with a band and special menue. We had wonderful experience! The room was very quiet, no traffic noise, no roosters etc. Perfect! Also very easy acess to the pool area directly from the room. Breakfast was really good, as it included eggs, bacon, at least 1 cheese, fruit selection, veggies, coffee witth real milk not just some white powder etc. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Once started to rain when I left the breakfast, one staff member noticed, that I did not have umbrella, so she just walked with me through the garden to my room, holding her umbrella above us. Thanks!

Perfect location, right on the beach. Incredible staff and service. We were assigned a room in the ‘club - adults only’ part and the room didn’t meet out expectations. Without a single question we were moved to a much better room, within minutes! Everything for a smile. Breakfast buffet is very good!

Liked · We stayed at Sumitra Villas for a week to acclimatise ourselves for a longer stay in Raja Ampat. We loved our stay at this hotel so much we decided to return after Raja Ampat to wind down. Our accommodation was spacious, comfortable and well serviced. The bed decoration for my wife's birthday was a nice surprise. The food in the hotel restaurant was excellent. The grounds of the hotel are well kept and have a truly tropical feel with a lovely pool and sun beds. However the best part to the hotel is the service provided by all the staff, from the reception staff; Vena and her colleagues in the restaurant to the room keeping and the hotel transport; Sri the manager and her team. All the staff are so friendly and attentive and went out of their way to make our stay very special. We really enjoyed the entertainment provided by the hotel and were lucky to be there when the hotel hosted a local traditional dance group. We were also lucky to be invited by the hotel to visit a local priests home to see a side of traditional Bali culture which we otherwise would not have seen. It is very rarely that we have been made to feel so cared for in a hotel stay and are very grateful to Sri and all her staff for all their efforts. Disliked · We cannot fault this hotel.

The city can be busy, but that’s part of its charm. You’ll find colorful shops, friendly locals, and a lot of interesting cultural spots like temples and museums. The food is amazing—whether you try street food or dine in restaurants, everything feels full of flavor and tradition.

Great city to explore... wish we would have had more time to...

Great city to explore... wish we would have had more time to look around. Everyone we met or talked to were very friendly and kind. Highly recommend. Be prepared to spend time in a vehicle as the traffic is a challenge at best. We went to one of the local malls, enjoying it immensely.

I went to a restaurant: WARUNG KLUMPU DENPASAR very close to the hotel. They had excellent atmosphere good food and if I stayed longer I would have come back. So please try and experience it yourself!

Sanur itself is very busy and the beach is poor as the tide goes out a long way. We only went for the resort. Although plenty of good places to eat in Sanur along the main walkway that goes past the resorts.

I loved the natural weave of traffic, the kindness and respect of the Balinese people, and how hardworking they are. So much to offer, for all budgets. I have yet to discover more of Denpaser on my next visit.

It was easy to get around but little to do nearby. A great turtle conservation centre that will keep most people occupied for up to an hour. It's very easy to get to the ports - one of the best port experiences I've had in Bali where you aren't overwhelmed by people trying to / demanding they order you taxis or sell you things.

Trip down memory lane, I used to stay in this area for 10years. Needs some repairs to the area but like a second home I tend to stay at Legian or Nusa Dua no. Downside at the moment is the replacing of the footpaths, but very necessary and will be great when finishe. I will visit this area next year. Enjoyed the beach walks and checked hotels I have stayed at.

Denpasar is often overlooked and yet has so much to offer.

Denpasar is often overlooked and yet has so much to offer. There is history, culture, good food and places with open space, great views and room to walk if you know where to look. It's also a great base from which you can visit other areas and enjoy unique experiences with little travel time. If you are after a unique Balinese experience without wall to wall tourists, do a little research and you may find that Denpasar has a lot to offer.
