Jungle paradise, wonderful teritory with fabulous sea view. Breakfast was good, especially liked that on the last morning in the hotel we got additional special offer breakfast choices to have bigger varriation. Location is quite remote, but thats the beauty of the hotel to enjoy peace and quite in jungle with fantastic views :)

Pictures and reviews from previous guests sure did not lie!!! Fantastic hotell and resort but the very best was the staff, serviceminded, pleasant, friendly and personal. Hotell : large luxurious rooms, firm but comfortable beds, luxurious bathrooms, plenty of hot water and great timely cleaning service. Reception : spacious and welcoming, always available, friendly staff. Pool-area : hidden in a backyard, this was a real gem, not so big but lots of green, nice sun-chairs, umbrellas, large bar and sitting area, nice, clean and well maintained pool. Gym : spacious and well equiped for our needs. Restaurant : fantastic breakfast included with a lot of choices, juices, coffees, teas, fresh fruit, eggs of all sorts, bread of all kinds.. A-la-carte for both lunch and dinner offers a wide variety of dishes, all super-well preparerad and very tasty. STAFF : Riri (front office), Mahen (’our’ vaitor and coffee guy (popuan)), Piki and Manik, you and your colleagues all gave us an unforgettable vacation, it would not have been the same without you, THANK YOU, we will miss you!!

Kamandalu is the best villa we have ever stayed in Ubud. The villa is gorgeous and beautiful,and the staff there are so welcoming and friendly. I would especially give my big thanks to lady Sukma who works at the front desk. She helped me a lot in printing my document for work and she also tried very hard to take photos of the document! I really appreciate her assistance so much🙏 The restaurant is wonderful as well. The food there is so delicious that I can go there everyday😀 Ketu the chef is great and so are other staff working there! You could see their lovely smiles while working almost all the time! The spa of Kamandalu is also good and we enjoyed the massage treatments very much. The therapists are both so experienced and skillful. We really enjoyed the time we spent in Kamandalu and it is indeed a five-star villa estate that you will not regret to visit and stay.

Everything was exceptional. First of all, when we arrived the receptionist gave us a warm welcome together with a mocktail. They presented our room and also offered to give us hints on what to visit even on the rainy days. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The location is very close to the famous beaches and good restaurants. The breakfast was delicious and all the stuff was amazing. If we were to visit again Uluwatu, we will definitely stay again at Gravity.

To me, Ubud is the cultural core of Bali. It has almost everything that defines the unique Balinese experience. Its popularity meant more crowds, congested streets, traffic jams, increased competition among sellers, pushing up prices for souvenirs and local goods. Everyone is selling more or less the same items, lacking in diversity and originality. So, it really takes the discerning eye and great bargaining prowess to get the best deals for authentic items and memorable keepsakes. I also wished that there were more “halal” food options in Ubud, that can fit into every budget. The Arabian Nights Resto was quite a good option, with a variety of Arab and Mediterranean cuisine. Portions are quite large, and a nice ambience. What was missing eateries or cafes offering mid-range pricing and those that are much friendlier on the pocket.

Among the various visits I've made to Bali, I've never stayed in Seminyak. This was my first for a night while awaiting my return flight home, and I doubt I'll bother returning. I stayed in Sanur last year while attending a conference, and I'd assumed Seminyak would be similar to Sanur. Touristy, but still managing to feel like a busy coastal village. Unfortunately, Seminyak wasn't like that, though. It was cheek to jowl with mainly western-style shops - far busier than my experience in Sanur (and I was there during the peak season!). But I think the thing that put me off the most was the grey, smelly water that had collected in drains everywhere, probably exacerbated by the higher-than-average rainfall. However, with enormous quantities of garbage waiting to be cleared (it was just after Xmas and NYE), the heat and the humidity, it didn't leave me with a desire to return.

This was the furthest I have ever been from home, and I was surprised at how welcome I felt. My accommodations were lovely. The staff was caring and helpful. And the food inside and outside the villa was amazing. I either walked to where I wanted to go or called for a ride. Both actions were easy. I took a pottery class--which was fun. And one of our drivers happily explained a lot about the culture of the area. I would return and stay in the same place again.

Uluwatu is beautiful, all the beaches and modern restaurants, bars and cafe's lean more towards the coastal side, it's very easy to get around here with lots of Grab/GoJek bikes and cars driving around often, never waited more than 4 minutes for a ride. Walking around would be easy too, the sidewalks aren't too difficult however the humps and hills of the roads are definitely a workout in the hot sun. Lots of construction in Uluwatu, the streets are noisy, lots of trucks and drilling everywhere.

This is my 6th visit to Sanur since 2009, and it's sad to see its current state; it's really rundown. The saving grace for me is all the wonderful places to eat, and the beach is decent for walks or biking (you can go a fair ways). Sanur is great for a few weeks max if you're alright with a little bit of chaos; beyond that, it gets a bit much (we were there for almost three weeks).

This is a gorgeous, tranquil property, right in the heart of the city. The pools are gorgeous and clean, the room is kitted out with all the amenities you need, the restaurant is a 2 minute walk away and the service and food is outstanding, and affordable. Loved every minute, we will be back!

The beach was very disappointing, we were there in August 2023 and I don't remember the beach being so dirty with rubbish as it was this week. The amount of litter was out of control - definitely will only be a 1 night stay close to airport from now on.

I loved the beach area which was calm and clean.

I loved the beach area which was calm and clean. Great diving and snorkelling experience and trained attentive staff. We hired a scooter and travelled as far as Diamond Beach which is sensational. Big big walk down to the beach but it was worth it. Heart wasn't terribly fussed lol.
