We had a wonderful time staying at this resort! Rooms were very clean, spacious and beautifully decorated, we loved the design and the whole atmosphere of the place. Cleaning was every day. Enjoyed all the facilities at the hotel, the pool with a bar in there was very nice, massage was also amazing and food at the restaurant was delicious. Staff was incredibly kind and helpful. 5 minutes walk to the beach made each our evening even more enjoyable. We also rented electric scooters from the hotel (100.000 rp per day). Would really love to come back!

Hotel Review for Kanvaz Hotel, Bali After an unfortunate hotel switch due to food poisoning, we found exactly what we needed at Kanvaz Hotel: relaxation and rejuvenation in the heart of the action. Choosing this hotel was one of the best decisions we made! The cleanliness of the rooms and the entire property is truly outstanding. In Bali, we’re already accustomed to the hospitality and politeness of the locals, but here at Kanvaz, the attentiveness was on another level, making our stay even more enjoyable. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for helping us recover and continue our vacation. The food is a highlight! The delicious dishes and exquisite pastries offered a taste of France and Italy. Plus, having the option to swim peacefully in the pool late at night was the cherry on top. We also took advantage of the hotel’s spa offerings, which were fantastic and provided a wonderful way to unwind. It’s the little things that make the stay at Kanvaz Hotel so special—like the lovely scents in the public areas and the high-quality toiletries that smell amazing and add a touch of luxury. I have travelled through the whole of Indonesia, and this is literally the best place you will get (for such a low price)! Super clean (no sewage smell as literally everywhere else), feeling 100% safe all the time, cool architecture and design (luxuriously youthful, with the pool, common areas - everything well maintained). Location is incredible - Kuta can be noisy and chaotic, but this one is on a quiet little street (but only 20 meters from the main street), and the beach is just a short walk from the inn (I went surfing twice a day (3min walk), everything else is less than a minute walk from the inn - shops, restaurants...). The staff is 1st class - SUPER kind, they are always helpful, making sure the facilities are spotless throughout the whole day and making sure the guests are feeling well. Special mention to the amazing Miss Lefiana, the hotel manager who made sure I felt at home, being extremely professional yet kind. Wherever I went for several days throughout my travel on Bali (Ubud, Canggu, Lombok ...) I kept coming back to Cara Cara ❤️

I LOVED my stay at this hotel. I would definitely come back. I cannot give them more stars. The staff is EXCEPTIONAL! The pool and room were amazing and comfortable. It's central to the main beach area. There are many restaurants with various meal options. The breakfast which was prepared was so fresh and delicious. The pool is well kept and the water temperature was always great. First time in Bali and this location was amazing. The room size is also much bigger than expected. It fit 3 adults comfortably.

Everything will be served by your butler. The room service food was fantastic. Every food I ordered arrived fast, and every single dish was fresh and delicious. They 've got a good chef. Hendra, my butler, was very nice and kind. He helped with every little thing I needed even cleaning, serving food, and taking to new places in the resort. He knew what I needed. The ocean view...the swimming pool... people... everything is fantastic! I 'd love to come and visit again soon.

The breakfast was a huge buffet breakfast. One of us is gluten intolerant, so being able to choose between numerous different dishes was a huge plus. Coffee is great and we had 2 huge cappuccinos each. Our room had a huge bed, a free mini bar (soft drinks), balcony and we had access to the deluxe pool. The hotel is beautiful and they take really good care of you. Staying here was the perfect end to our holiday :)

Everything in this hotel was carefully curated, from the selection of amenities to the music and twice-a-day cleaning service. Stayed in the pool suite, which was amazing to jump into the pool after a long hot day. Food in the Slow Kitchen was also one of our fave dinners during our stay in Canggu. We will definitely return!

The view was wonderful both from our room and in the restaurant. There was so much to see, surfing, fishing boats, swimmers, walkers, sunrise and sunset, monkeys. Very relaxing just to sit and enjoy! The stairs up and down were huge but for us good exercise.

Kuta is very busy, traffic is hectic, but there is plenty to...

Kuta is very busy, traffic is hectic, but there is plenty to see and do. Shopping is good, with plenty of bargains and hotels are very good. It was easy to get a taxi to travel around and we found the best driver, BAGUS, who took us on a 12 hour day tour of middle Bali (Ubud and surrounds) for only $50 AUD.

Interesting very surf orientated town. Road planning unfortunately very bad. Very difficult to get around. Good restaurants, night spots, retail outlets. Mighty beach. Good Aston pool upstairs. Colourful and vibrant, lots of energy.

It’s fallen behind Kuta and Legian in my opinion by that I mean a little dirty. Rubbish along the streets in places and the paths are not as good either. Overall it needs a good clean up and paths brought up to the standard of Kuta and Legian

Great place.

Great place. Lots of excellent restaurants and beautiful beaches nearby. My favourite was Nyang Nyang Beach which is easy to reach. It's a sandy beach with great waves for surfing. Swimming is a bit more tricky as the bottom is rocky and the currents can be a bit challenging. There is a bar for refreshment and the beach is spacious and doesn't feel crowded. Uluwatu attracts lots of surfers and that's a bit the vibe that you get here.

we are glad we stayed in bali for 17 days enjoyed travelling up to ubud and over to sanur seeing the monkeys watching sunsets eating food and having cash the bali money and being able to tip for great service . watching the fireworks was another fantastic memory whilst staying in bali .

The beach was very disappointing, we were there in August 2023 and I don't remember the beach being so dirty with rubbish as it was this week. The amount of litter was out of control - definitely will only be a 1 night stay close to airport from now on.

We found a shop in Kerobokan where all the locals went to buy clothes etc, the prices were set and very reasonable if you didnt want to barter for everything Our villa was at the end of a driveway a fair walk from the shops etc, we couldnt find a salon nearby to have a massage. We were close to a laundry however and their prices were amazingly low and their services was excellent

We were in a good location from everything we wanted to do🤔🤔 We ate at many restaurants in the area. I got to watch the AFL and NRL games at Rama Garden bar and Restaurant. The seafood there was very good and freshly cooked.

The beaches are filthy. The water is a cesspool of waste.

The beaches are filthy. The water is a cesspool of waste. I appreciate the little island might not have the funds or resources to repair damage. However, with so many options for travellers Bali especially Kuta and Legian are definitely not beach holidays. The government needs to inject money because it’s the people that are suffering from the lack of tourism.
