Smell. First thing that I noticed once I walked in loby. It did smell so nice.Very nice hotel all round. Well priced,clean modern. Restaurant was good for evening meal and also breakfast was really good. It would not be a dissapointment. Looking forward to be there again !

The accommodation with modern, clean and spacious rooms. The bed was incredibly comfortable, refrigerator, coffee, tea, rooms that can be completely darkened (for long sleepers) and a wonderful small private terrace awaited us. And the breakfast was very cozy at Pizza Monkey. Everything we could wish for was there, even a private lockable parking lot. And then I haven't even mentioned the small cozy wellness department, which was just enough. If we are in Szeged, we will only choose this accommodation, because it proved to us that there are big possibilities in small things.

It was a perfect day in Hotel Auris. All the staff were friendly, the location and atmosphere of the accommodation were excellent, and the room condition exceeded my expectations. The sauna was free with a reservation, and the jacuzzi offered private access for an hour for a fee of 6,000ft. The jacuzzi might feel small, but its privacy was a welcome bonus. And the breakfast exceeded my expectations. This is a hotel I would like to visit again next time.

We stayed one night at this beautiful small hotel in the very heart of Szeged. The hotel has the atmosphere of a Venetian/Austrian fin de siecle establishment upgraded with modern comfort, which we loved a lot. The location can not be better: literally everything is at your doorstep: the magnificent Dom square with the Cathedral, the famous Virag Cafe, many of the best restaurants and Fish taverns, Szeged fashion street (Karasz u) and even a very well stocked SPAR supermarket are all within 3-4 min walk. The hotel itself absolutely lived up to our expectations: not only the stylish design, but also the spacious and very comfortable rooms. The private balcony was a real treat. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful - the night reception made us feel really safe and taken care of. We finished our brief stay with a hearty breakfast (included in the price), left our luggage at the cloak room and took a last walk in the city centre. While enjoying a nice Ice cream cup at Cafe Virag we decided to come back for a longer trip and will definitely stay at Mozart again.

I absolutely loved this place an would have happily stayed longer. There is a gorgeous little lounge / reception area with a well-equipped kitchen and the stairs / rooms have a very "Alpine chalet" feel. Great place.

My high rating is partially because I was surprised by how...

My high rating is partially because I was surprised by how much bigger the Szeged is from what I thought it is hearing of it in my youth. It's a very nice, very clean city (at least the city centre where I resided), full of restaurants and shops. There is also a big market (with indoor and outdoor parts) but you have to go there early to see it all. We ate at the place called "Bistorant" (on one of the corners of the main pedestrian street), and the food was excellent, so was the staff - very kind and English speaking. I would love to go back to Szeged for 3-4 days during summer months, so that I can enjoy more of its beauty and the big spa within it.

The town is nice and very clean and it has enough to offer, even in winter. The not-so-good aspect is that it is rather quiet in the evening, so it is not recommended for people who seek entertainment throughout the night. However, Szeged is rather close, so this problem could also be solved easily.

Hot springs were the best curative ever experienced. 20+ pools Restaurant is one of the best for an authentic Hungarian road house food experience. Staff are friendly. Room and facility was clean. Room was a bit small but comfortable. Locals told us there are 2 other local hotels with equal or higher ratings, but are not worth their prices.

A peaceful place to walk along the river after a busy day to contemplate in the silence of the willows and gently push the water. There is no place to have an early morning coffee or an evening drink by the river. The place is neat and clean! Miraculously there are no mosquitoes. Meals at the hotel were quite enough because I didn't have time to go around too much due to work.

Very clean village, quiet, not too many cars around, people prefer riding bicycles, as I understood from other travelers at the property it is within 5 minutes drive to next city where they have amazing facilities and activities during the day such as thermal baths and many more. The property was amazingly quiet, even with many guests, I wish I could stayed for a week, I would have definitely recharged This place is perfect for families with kids and excellent value for money

I was amazed by the peace and quiet of the place. There was traffic, I mean Szeged is a big city, but you couldn't hear anything. Beautiful parks and nice walks by the river. Don't forget to visit a cava to buy some local Hungarian wines. Szeged has perfect small cafés, where you can enjoy a dessert and a cup of tea or coffee. A visit to a local restaurant is a must. Gulasch soup is a trademark dish, but we were pleasantly surprised by the fish dishes, fresh from the river and cooked to perfection.

Place is very small, nothing much to see.

Place is very small, nothing much to see. Everybody is coming for the Spa. And Spa is GREAT! Still, I liked it, I needed peace and quite, for that was perfect. There is no exchange office anywhere, that's a bit disapointing. Still, you can pay everywhere with card. It's cute, but not expect much activities. Restaurants are good, not expensive, nice food.

This was my Grandmother's village.

This was my Grandmother's village. We located my relatives in 2018 with the help of an Hungarian friend and this was our 3rd trip back. There is a tremendous amount of history for such a small village, particularly surrounding the church and round chapel next to it. We ate breakfast at the bed & breakfast and dinners either at my relatives or in restaurants in Mako which is very close. It was a very restful vist.
