This hotel, by far, is one of our favourites travelling around Croatia. We stayed after a full day at Plitvice Lakes. The staff were welcoming and very accomidating. The hotel felt like a slice of heaven. The story behind the hotel was heartwarming, but also what they offered to the local community appeared very gracious. The bed in the room was massive, it was so nice to be able to have a really large bathroom with all amenities. The noise level was low made us feel safe and the staff made us feel rlvery reassured for our onward journey.

If you are looking for the real Croatian experience without compromising on cleanliness and facilities - look no further, this is where you need to go. We have spent two nights at this place, and if we could award 11 points to it, we’d do it. The lodge lies in the heart of Plitvice national park, one of the entrances to the park is just around the corner, so entering the park will be super convenient, just a 5 minute walk away. The lodge has the character of a mountain hut, the rooms are nice, clean and tastefully decorated and absolutely up to the task, there’s nothing that you are going to miss. The owner serves an absolutely delicious self-cooked Croatian style dinner and we absolutely recommend to eat at the lodge, especially in the evening. During dinner, be prepared that the owner will treat you to his self-burnt Schnaps which greatly facilitates starting a conversation with fellow travelers - in no other place in Croatia (we did a 2 week tour) did we meet so many interesting people from all over Europe and North America. As mentioned, the hosts are super friendly and authentically Croatian, it was a great couple of days and we will certainly return.

The location was really good! The Ranch looks really beautiful in the winters as well! All facilities were similar to a hotel! Really polite host. Highlights are the animals on the farm. Really friendly.. Had a very authentic ranch experience with the wood fire heaters. Really huge rooms!

You really need several days to visit what that place has to offer. Don’t miss the Spelaton center and Barać caves. We been on Barac Traill race and the organizers really do the best of them. Also don’t miss the fast food in rakovica on road by the Apartment green park with delicious burgers.

The B&B Plitvica Hill was great.

The B&B Plitvica Hill was great. The owner was there to answer any questions and help you get settled in. The room are all new and very well set up. The beds were great. My wife and I would sleep to much.

We stayed in Grabovac as we wanted to visit Plitvice.

We stayed in Grabovac as we wanted to visit Plitvice. We booked our tickets a day before for 7am. I'm glad we went early as from 9am the park was very busy. We used entrance 2, for a longer walk (but not the longest), it was very good until we reached entrance 1 (by small ferry) which was extremely busy. I do not recommend entrance 1 as the queue for ferry was very very long. Generally avoid busy periods if you want to enjoy nature.

This town is very close to Plitvice and a great place to stay for less money than the official Plitvice hotels. There are a couple of restaurants in town, Restoran Degenija serves delicious food, a bit upscale, though not too expensive. Most of the town is on the main road to Plitvice, so there is a lot of traffic.

Wonderful place!

Wonderful place! Close to Plitvica Jezera and to Bosna, you can reach a long list of beautiful towns and natural sites in a short time driving, both in Hrvatska and Bosna. The village is small and quiet with gourgeous natural areas all around (not only Plitvice or Una river Narodni Park...). An excellent choice, highly recommended!

We were there in April and went just for Plitvic lakes, it was quite cold in the morning & evening, glad we had our puffer jackets. An absolute bonus was the gorgeous little village of Rastoke, stunning and the best food of our entire 2 weeks in Croatia.

This is a great place to base yourself when visiting the Plitvice NP. We only did a one night stay on transit between Zagreb and Zadar. There are lots of different sights to see, so wish we had a few days. There are caves and more waterfalls to see outside the National Park. The main township was much bigger than we expected. Amazing area. We ate at the family owned restaurant in a big orange building on the Eastern edge of Korenica, Restaurant Sapena. Fabulous grilled trout, and the best grilled meat platter ever.

Plivice Lakes National Park is a must see.

Plivice Lakes National Park is a must see. Natural beauty takes your breath away. It was the higlight of our tour, because we have never seen a reserve like this. Jezerce is only 5-10 minutes drive from on of the entrances to the park. Jezerce itself is beautiful and reminiscent of the Swiss Alps.

A unique park with a series of interconnecting lakes and...

A unique park with a series of interconnecting lakes and numerous waterfalls. It is an incredibly beautiful place. There are walkways between the lakes, sometimes of wood (over water) and sometimes of dirt and stone. The wood walkways are not wide and if crowded it can be difficult to pass. But the walkways allow the visitor to experience the beauty and uniqueness of the waterfalls and lakes. Our hike, which included stopping for photos, lasted 2 hours, and we selected a short trail. We could easily have spent a full day at the Park. There were four of us and we agreed that we had never seen a place like Plitvice.
