Location is great, quiet and beautiful and close to park entrances. Good facilities and parking on site. Confortable room, clean and good space. Roza is such a nice host, kind and talkative despite not speaking much english. We had dinner on of the nights and the food was amazing, fresh and organic food, homemade grandma style. If you are looking for the real Croatian experience without compromising on cleanliness and facilities - look no further, this is where you need to go. We have spent two nights at this place, and if we could award 11 points to it, we’d do it. The lodge lies in the heart of Plitvice national park, one of the entrances to the park is just around the corner, so entering the park will be super convenient, just a 5 minute walk away. The lodge has the character of a mountain hut, the rooms are nice, clean and tastefully decorated and absolutely up to the task, there’s nothing that you are going to miss. The owner serves an absolutely delicious self-cooked Croatian style dinner and we absolutely recommend to eat at the lodge, especially in the evening. During dinner, be prepared that the owner will treat you to his self-burnt Schnaps which greatly facilitates starting a conversation with fellow travelers - in no other place in Croatia (we did a 2 week tour) did we meet so many interesting people from all over Europe and North America. As mentioned, the hosts are super friendly and authentically Croatian, it was a great couple of days and we will certainly return.

We absolutely adored this hotel! The location is superb and the rooms were stunning. Such a fabulous stay and Anas, a the wonderful guy who checked us in, was a dream! He was so helpful and kind, and spent a long time with us planning our trip to the lakes, as well as welcoming us to the area. We had such fun in this glorious hotel and were treated so well by the lovely Anas and his team. The restaurant food was delicious, too. We couldn’t recommend this place more - an absolute must if you are visiting the lakes. The only problem we faced is that we didn’t book to stay here longer! Really fabulous!

The room was spatious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great and staff were friendly. There aren’t many good options around. We are at the pizzeria (800m walk) both nights. There is a convenience store about 1.2km away but it was closed. Would recommend to bring snacks/all supplied due to limited options. Pizzas were great and cheap!

The staff at the facility and the restaurant were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The natural surroundings around the bungalows are beautiful, with plenty of water drinking points nearby. The toilets were clean and well-maintained. The Korana River is easily accessible, and the dog was able to roam freely and play around.

You really need several days to visit what that place has to...

You really need several days to visit what that place has to offer. Don’t miss the Spelaton center and Barać caves. We been on Barac Traill race and the organizers really do the best of them. Also don’t miss the fast food in rakovica on road by the Apartment green park with delicious burgers.

The B&B Plitvica Hill was great. The owner was there to answer any questions and help you get settled in. The room are all new and very well set up. The beds were great. My wife and I would sleep to much.

We stayed in Grabovac as we wanted to visit Plitvice.

We stayed in Grabovac as we wanted to visit Plitvice. We booked our tickets a day before for 7am. I'm glad we went early as from 9am the park was very busy. We used entrance 2, for a longer walk (but not the longest), it was very good until we reached entrance 1 (by small ferry) which was extremely busy. I do not recommend entrance 1 as the queue for ferry was very very long. Generally avoid busy periods if you want to enjoy nature.

This town is very close to Plitvice and a great place to stay for less money than the official Plitvice hotels. There are a couple of restaurants in town, Restoran Degenija serves delicious food, a bit upscale, though not too expensive. Most of the town is on the main road to Plitvice, so there is a lot of traffic.

Wonderful place!

Wonderful place! Close to Plitvica Jezera and to Bosna, you can reach a long list of beautiful towns and natural sites in a short time driving, both in Hrvatska and Bosna. The village is small and quiet with gourgeous natural areas all around (not only Plitvice or Una river Narodni Park...). An excellent choice, highly recommended!

This is a great place to base yourself when visiting the Plitvice NP. We only did a one night stay on transit between Zagreb and Zadar. There are lots of different sights to see, so wish we had a few days. There are caves and more waterfalls to see outside the National Park. The main township was much bigger than we expected. Amazing area. We ate at the family owned restaurant in a big orange building on the Eastern edge of Korenica, Restaurant Sapena. Fabulous grilled trout, and the best grilled meat platter ever.

We were there in April and went just for Plitvic lakes, it was quite cold in the morning & evening, glad we had our puffer jackets. An absolute bonus was the gorgeous little village of Rastoke, stunning and the best food of our entire 2 weeks in Croatia.

Plivice Lakes National Park is a must see.

Plivice Lakes National Park is a must see. Natural beauty takes your breath away. It was the higlight of our tour, because we have never seen a reserve like this. Jezerce is only 5-10 minutes drive from on of the entrances to the park. Jezerce itself is beautiful and reminiscent of the Swiss Alps.

A unique park with a series of interconnecting lakes and...

A unique park with a series of interconnecting lakes and numerous waterfalls. It is an incredibly beautiful place. There are walkways between the lakes, sometimes of wood (over water) and sometimes of dirt and stone. The wood walkways are not wide and if crowded it can be difficult to pass. But the walkways allow the visitor to experience the beauty and uniqueness of the waterfalls and lakes. Our hike, which included stopping for photos, lasted 2 hours, and we selected a short trail. We could easily have spent a full day at the Park. There were four of us and we agreed that we had never seen a place like Plitvice.
