I was pleasantly surprised with amazing customer service! Staff is always helpful and smiling. Food is delicious with reasonable prices and rich breakfast. Pool is super clean and view from the pool is amazing! There is also a beach just few meters away or you can get a cab to Šimuni beach 15 min away and enjoy some activities, or take a nice 10 min walk to the city where they have plenty of restaurants and public beach. We will definitely come back again!

Great location, center of Novalja, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean and stylish. Breakfast was great. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

I booked a 6 night stay for me and 3 friends, and the stay was extremely pleasant. The staff was wonderful, the breakfast had a wide range of varieties, the room was very clean and also the pool was clean. The Wi-Fi signal is good and the beds very comfortable. The location is very central, a 5-6 minute walk to restaurants. The uber service fee is around 8-10 euros to go to the nearby beaches. The booking was beyond my expectations.

Wonderful stay from start to finish. Friendly staff, amazing location with many stalls , restaurants and bars nearby. The beach at the doorstep is lovely and quite enough when comparing to others nearby. Boat trips are a 5 minute walk away as are jet ski/paddle board rentals etc. The food was great with the menu changing daily with options for every taste. A really great family location too - plenty of playgrounds & other things for kids to do on the area. The beds were super comfy and the doors didn’t seem to slam leading to a wonderful night‘s sleep which isn’t usually the case at other hotels. We made fond memories for life and would recommend this stay to anyone.

It was a beautiful vacation. The room corresponds to the one we booked. Check in and parking were without problems and free of charge. The room was very comfortable with a beautiful view of the sea, the beds were comfortable. There was silence in the room. The pool with sunbeds was clean. I appreciate the variety of the breakfast. The restaurant was pleasant and we enjoyed going here for dinners. I would like to praise the very friendly head waiter Zoran. Such a professional is rarely seen anywhere. The other staff were always pleasant as well. The beach is right in front of the hotel with a gentle entry into the water. The price in this hotel more or less corresponds to the premium location.

Novalja is amazing.

Novalja is amazing. Sure, it’s full of people in the high season since the famous Zrce Beach is nearby, but I’ll definitely come back next year. Not just for the beautiful sea and beaches, but also because we never had a chance to be bored.

The owner was very kind and accommodating. The location was a peaceful and convenient place to stay. We ate at the public beach area which we walked to in under 10 minutes. We walked around the marina after dinner and that was a lovely family walk. Would recommend to others.

The location is fabulous.

The location is fabulous. The sea is clean and full with sea life. There are at least 3-4 restaurants in Mandre, two grocery shops and 2-3 bakeries. There is a cheese shop about 3 km away in Kolan, that has a lot of tasty local specialties.

Povljana is growing too fast.

Povljana is growing too fast. The rapid construction of unsightly apartment buildings threatens the original charm of this peaceful coastal village and slowly pushes it toward the fate of overcrowded resorts like Makarska. For now, the situation is still bearable – but it feels like a tipping point is approaching. One can only hope that local authorities and residents will act before the soul of the place is lost for good.

It’s a fairly remote village, but it’s full of life and really gorgeous. There is a little market where you can buy mostly vegetables, some olive oil stands, but the nearest shop is a 20 min drive away. The olive gardens are really beautiful, you can find nice spots along the trail!

Good: - beautiful beaches in the area - several markets, no need to travel anywhere during the stay - beautiful walking/running trail called 'Life on Mars'. Not good: - near Slana bay there was a concentration camp in the past which is not commemorated in a good way; one have to find the info by their own - I think most of the people are not aware in what kind of area they spend vacation.

Location is excelent.

Location is excelent. The beach is really sandy, ideal for kids, there is shallow water, so you can play with the kids 30 meters in the sea and you are still standing. The people taking care aboput this appartments are one family and they are running as really family bussines. The managert is young person and he is trying his best. Some experiences are missing but he is replacing that by the effort of his and his family. I stayed for one week and during that i did not hear - "it is not possible or NO".

Novalja peaks during summer for the festival season, with Zrce Beach nearby. However, it's a cute small town with its own little charm, I would definitely come at a less busy time (that being said, even during festival season it didn't feel crowded at all), and do some driving to nearby spots on the island. Driving is definitely preferred in Croatia in general (just be aware of limited parking and teeny two way streets), but you can arrive by bus to Novalja too.

Our second Croatian island (the first was Lošinj) and another marvel! We were enthralled by the nature, we loved the diverse beaches, the restaurants and food were great, the locals extremely friendly, and for those wondering about Zrće - yes, it is just as lively and fun as everyone is saying. Pag is truly a well-rounded destination and you can be sure there is something for everyone to discover and fall in love with.

I was very disappointed with this location.

I was very disappointed with this location. We read on the Internet how beautiful the sea is here. -IT'S NOT ! In other places, the sea is many times more beautiful. There is a long beach, full of people. Access to the sea looks cool from the shore, BUT the reality is slippery stones. Almost no fish live in the water and I didn't even find a mussel here. We wanted to go to a more distant beach on foot, BUT the roads on the map are poorly marked! In reality, no road leads there, and after 50 minutes of walking in the sun, we had to walk back to the village.
