United KingdomRosa was a wonderful host and made us very welcome. When we asked for a local restaurant to eat at, she offered to cook dinner for us. She provided dinner for both the nights we were staying there. It was just like staying with family.
The house was exceptionally clean, and was situated in a small village, very close to Plitvice National Park, which was only a few minutes drive away.
Rosa was able to speak quite a few languages including Japanese which was a fantastic benefit for all guests staying there.

United KingdomWe loved our stay. The hotel is such a cosy place and looked absolutely magical with the Christmas lights. Even though it was the quiet season, we still fully enjoyed our time there. The staff went above and beyond to help us and made us feel very welcome. The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The whole village offers plenty of things to do, and it’s within walking distance of Plitvice, which was perfect. Breakfast was excellent and a great start to the day.

We were pleasantly surprised by this place. The apartment was well equipped, we had everything we needed. We received the dishes upon request and there were enough to prepare anything. We had breakfast in the restaurant. The breakfast was fresh and very tasty, we really liked it. Great place if you are going to visit the National Park because it is very close to the entrance. Great staff and a beautiful garden.

Lovely, comfortable room with great bed, a mini fridge and big bathroom. We stayed here, like most, to visit nearby Plitvice National Park and this location is walking distance to Entrance 3. They will even book your tickets for you (but we booked ours on line) and they gave us directions for touring the park. The lodge offers delicious drinks, dinner and breakfast for very reasonable prices.

The accommodation is located 2 km frim entrance 2 if the Plitvice national park. The room was clean, the whole compkex if houses witg appartments is well organised. There is a small swimming pool, nice shade and sun and very kind owner Lala who was very helpful witg some tips. Breakfast was great, good selection and always fresh and warm.
Lots of parking at the property.

Only great things- just a breath-taking Plitvice Lakes National Park! That was the focus of our trip. There were many nearby areas of beauty and fun things to do that we missed. You need a few days in this area of Croatia!

The B&B Plitvica Hill was great.
The B&B Plitvica Hill was great. The owner was there to answer any questions and help you get settled in. The room are all new and very well set up. The beds were great. My wife and I would sleep to much.

Stayed for 1 night whilst passing through. Few nice little bars and churches. Struggled to find anywhere to eat that wasn’t fast food. Managed to find 1 restaurant which had home cooked food which was good.

If you are looking for beautiful valley scenery and as a base for Plitvice and Velebit then it is ideal. The area is good value for money and Otocac itself has a good choice of grocery stores, bars and bakeries. The restaurant choice is a bit limited, with most places doing a very similar menu, so for longer stays this could be an issue.

Wonderful place!
Wonderful place! Close to Plitvica Jezera and to Bosna, you can reach a long list of beautiful towns and natural sites in a short time driving, both in Hrvatska and Bosna.
The village is small and quiet with gourgeous natural areas all around (not only Plitvice or Una river Narodni Park...).
An excellent choice, highly recommended!

We were there in April and went just for Plitvic lakes, it was quite cold in the morning & evening, glad we had our puffer jackets. An absolute bonus was the gorgeous little village of Rastoke, stunning and the best food of our entire 2 weeks in Croatia.

This is a great place to base yourself when visiting the Plitvice NP. We only did a one night stay on transit between Zagreb and Zadar. There are lots of different sights to see, so wish we had a few days. There are caves and more waterfalls to see outside the National Park. The main township was much bigger than we expected. Amazing area. We ate at the family owned restaurant in a big orange building on the Eastern edge of Korenica, Restaurant Sapena. Fabulous grilled trout, and the best grilled meat platter ever.

Plivice Lakes National Park is a must see.
Plivice Lakes National Park is a must see. Natural beauty takes your breath away. It was the higlight of our tour, because we have never seen a reserve like this. Jezerce is only 5-10 minutes drive from on of the entrances to the park.
Jezerce itself is beautiful and reminiscent of the Swiss Alps.

A unique park with a series of interconnecting lakes and numerous waterfalls. It is an incredibly beautiful place. There are walkways between the lakes, sometimes of wood (over water) and sometimes of dirt and stone. The wood walkways are not wide and if crowded it can be difficult to pass. But the walkways allow the visitor to experience the beauty and uniqueness of the waterfalls and lakes. Our hike, which included stopping for photos, lasted 2 hours, and we selected a short trail. We could easily have spent a full day at the Park. There were four of us and we agreed that we had never seen a place like Plitvice.

Really unique & beautiful interlinked lakes, the whole area was gorgeous. Entrance 3 is a secluded and easy entrance to use with parking around there. We went at 3:30 pm and it was perfect, fewer people. It took us 3-3.5 hrs to leisurely walk around the lake, take the boat and the bus back. Its worth it to spend the night in the area to visit the lakes in the afternoon or morning. There is place to eat & drink near the boat area, which was reasonable.
