United KingdomThis hotel, by far, is one of our favourites travelling around Croatia. We stayed after a full day at Plitvice Lakes. The staff were welcoming and very accomidating. The hotel felt like a slice of heaven. The story behind the hotel was heartwarming, but also what they offered to the local community appeared very gracious. The bed in the room was massive, it was so nice to be able to have a really large bathroom with all amenities. The noise level was low made us feel safe and the staff made us feel rlvery reassured for our onward journey.

We enjoyed our stay here, it’s a peaceful and quiet spot surrounded by nature. The room was spacious, very clean, and the breakfast was delicious. Parking was available. If you plan to visit Plitvice National Park through the main entrance number 1, like we did, you’ll need a car, but it’s also possible to walk from the B&B to entrance number 3, which is super convenient. We also found a small shopping area about 15 minutes away by car with a Tommy Maximarket, gas, pharmacy, and other stores, perfect for grabbing some ready meals or anything you might need (https://maps.app.goo.gl/U52EPwUbHtsJECUA8).

We loved our visit to Rustic Lodge Plitvice. The staff were outstanding, extremely welcoming and helpful. As soon as we walked in we could smell the cleanliness of our rooms. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was superb. We especially enjoyed the walnut liqueur after dinner. If we could give a 20 out of 5 we would.

The mobile homes are brand new, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with a spacious patio and relaxing lounge chairs. The on-site restaurant serves excellent food, and the campsite is in a perfect location—just a 5-minute drive from Plitvice Lakes National Park. A great place to stay!

Only great things- just a breath-taking Plitvice Lakes National Park! That was the focus of our trip. There were many nearby areas of beauty and fun things to do that we missed. You need a few days in this area of Croatia!

The B&B Plitvica Hill was great. The owner was there to answer any questions and help you get settled in. The room are all new and very well set up. The beds were great. My wife and I would sleep to much.

Stayed for 1 night whilst passing through. Few nice little bars and churches. Struggled to find anywhere to eat that wasn’t fast food. Managed to find 1 restaurant which had home cooked food which was good.

If you are looking for beautiful valley scenery and as a base for Plitvice and Velebit then it is ideal. The area is good value for money and Otocac itself has a good choice of grocery stores, bars and bakeries. The restaurant choice is a bit limited, with most places doing a very similar menu, so for longer stays this could be an issue.

This is a great place to base yourself when visiting the Plitvice NP. We only did a one night stay on transit between Zagreb and Zadar. There are lots of different sights to see, so wish we had a few days. There are caves and more waterfalls to see outside the National Park. The main township was much bigger than we expected. Amazing area. We ate at the family owned restaurant in a big orange building on the Eastern edge of Korenica, Restaurant Sapena. Fabulous grilled trout, and the best grilled meat platter ever.

We were there in April and went just for Plitvic lakes, it was quite cold in the morning & evening, glad we had our puffer jackets. An absolute bonus was the gorgeous little village of Rastoke, stunning and the best food of our entire 2 weeks in Croatia.

Wonderful place!
Wonderful place! Close to Plitvica Jezera and to Bosna, you can reach a long list of beautiful towns and natural sites in a short time driving, both in Hrvatska and Bosna.
The village is small and quiet with gourgeous natural areas all around (not only Plitvice or Una river Narodni Park...).
An excellent choice, highly recommended!

Plivice Lakes National Park is a must see.
Plivice Lakes National Park is a must see. Natural beauty takes your breath away. It was the higlight of our tour, because we have never seen a reserve like this. Jezerce is only 5-10 minutes drive from on of the entrances to the park.
Jezerce itself is beautiful and reminiscent of the Swiss Alps.

A unique park with a series of interconnecting lakes and numerous waterfalls. It is an incredibly beautiful place. There are walkways between the lakes, sometimes of wood (over water) and sometimes of dirt and stone. The wood walkways are not wide and if crowded it can be difficult to pass. But the walkways allow the visitor to experience the beauty and uniqueness of the waterfalls and lakes. Our hike, which included stopping for photos, lasted 2 hours, and we selected a short trail. We could easily have spent a full day at the Park. There were four of us and we agreed that we had never seen a place like Plitvice.

Really unique & beautiful interlinked lakes, the whole area was gorgeous. Entrance 3 is a secluded and easy entrance to use with parking around there. We went at 3:30 pm and it was perfect, fewer people. It took us 3-3.5 hrs to leisurely walk around the lake, take the boat and the bus back. Its worth it to spend the night in the area to visit the lakes in the afternoon or morning. There is place to eat & drink near the boat area, which was reasonable.
