We were feeling very welcomed and hotel parking was one of best benefits of hotel in crowded Budva. You can reach old city in 10 minutes walking and our room was spacious, very neat and modern with nice and quite big balcony. Everything that we hoped for. Hotel is amazing!!! The view is priceless, my husband and I enjoyed it. We had peaceful mornings with a stunning sea view. We also liked the convenience - it has parking. So we did not have to worry about our car at all! As soon as we arrived we ate at hotel restaurant and the food is so fresh and well prepared. The staff is extremely polite!! And that is the MOST important thing, lots of hotels have staff that are nervous and under stress during summer time and we, guests feel that. Hotel Aquilo staff were respectful, polite, and helpful!! Whatever we needed, we got it in no time. Whatever we asked, they explained. I really recommend this great place for all of you who want to explore Montenegro wild beauty but at the same time avoid crowd and mess. We will come back for sure. Thank you so much Hotel Aquilo!

We had a wonderful stay at the Ruzmarin Hotel. From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed and felt at home in this family-run hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, especially towards the children. Joshy, the regular cleaner, sometimes gave them chocolates or beautiful drawing and sticker books, which they enjoyed throughout the trip—and even afterwards. Alexa was super friendly and always ready to help us with a smile or a drink. Everything went smoothly, and we received great assistance when renting a car. This truly is a family hotel: warm, welcoming, with a full and delicious breakfast, and a great kitchen. The prices in the restaurant were very reasonable, offering excellent value for money. We felt truly welcome with the kids. Every day we enjoyed the swimming pool and relaxing on our little terrace by the pool, where we sometimes also enjoyed our meals. As a lovely farewell gesture, we received a delicious bottle of wine from the hotel owner to take home. :)

Really liked the small old town in Budva.

Really liked the small old town in Budva. It doesn't get too many tourists ( like Kotor) so is less crowded and more tranquil. I didn't like the fact you had to pay to walk along a part of the walled town. There are lots of small food places there (selling pizza, sandwiches, byreks, cakes), which is great and absent in lots of these type of places.

The area of Becici was great for a nice beach holiday.

The area of Becici was great for a nice beach holiday. I didn’t like that every beach seemed to be allocated to a Hotel and we had to pay €30 for two beach lounges, but this was everywhere and I guess, just how it is done everywhere. We had a hire car so we were able to also visit Kotor, Tivat, Sveti Stefan and other areas, which were all within an easy drive. The exception being the major roadworks on the E65/80 to Tivat, but these will likely be completed by next summer.

Overall, a great place, every recommendation for the hotel.

Overall, a great place, every recommendation for the hotel. Great stuff, great food. Beautiful place, a lot of attention paid to nature. I was particularly impressed by the olive trees in the yard, and the attention paid to their preservation.

From the sveti stefan bus stop, it’s very easy to get around...

From the sveti stefan bus stop, it’s very easy to get around, buses to Budva Old Town run every 20 minutes, cost €2.5 one way, and take about 20 minutes. Taxi from Tivat airport is around €55–60 and takes about 40 minutes. For food, we often bought frozen homemade dishes from a Ukrainian shop in Budva, which were really tasty.

Beach is perfect, smallest pabbels, clear waters great for sweeming. I’d come bavk for longer stay inwsrmer season. Right on the beach there are several restaurants with good food. My recomendation eould still be restaurant on the top , main road, named Kusto. During summer reservation is needed. I would deffinitelly take a walk to St Stefan beach (20-30min thru pine trees and great beaches Kings beach Milocher & St Stefan beach.

The little haven of an authentic garden, less than 5 minutes from a bustling seaside promenade and beach. Shade to be found all day, place to eat takeout, make yourself a cuppa, or chill with wine you’ve kept in fridge. The sincere hosts: friendly, helpful, available, but living next door so not ever-present. Glad we stayed here and at Rafailovici rather than Boudva - beach options better. ‘Rafailovici tourist office’ is good destination to give taxi on arrival as after that, take narrow street down on right and half way down you’re there. Without luggage the buses back and forth are convenient for Budva. Note Summer 2025 - roadworks between Budva (&Kotor) a nightmare ongoing road building possibly a year - this means significantly higher bus travel time /taxi quotes from airport (Around €60 for 50 min journey although also got €80 quoted). Key jiggling for room 2 a bit of a challenge but otherwise everything spotlessly clean, simple, and comfortable beds.

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment! The location is perfect — just a short walk to some of the most stunning beaches I've ever seen. The apartment itself was clean, stylish, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, making sure I felt at home from the moment I arrived. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a gorgeous setting!

The views were magnificent especially in the mountains.

The views were magnificent especially in the mountains. The restaurant closest to the villa was lovely and the views from it were also stunning. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming - highly recommend. The roads are very fast and furious. Drivers take serious risks passing. We also had the added left hand driving (we live in North of Ireland) to master as well.

It is nice place during the major season because it is in...

It is nice place during the major season because it is in the middle of many things like Kotor or beaches south from Budva or National Parks. It is not as crowded as Kotor and you can have nicer visit.

Traffic along the entire coast is very heavy and it takes at least 3 hours to reach the Croatian border (54 km). Drivers are quite unpopular...cars are left on the streets...everyone honks. It's better in the interior of the country. Food and drink prices are normal.
