The remoteness of the property is a great plus for us nature lovers. And crystal-clear directions from the owner made our journey there (by public transport) a breeze. We got there earlier than indicated but the boss adjusted his schedule, checked us in and, based on what we want to do, gave us clear and accurate directions on how to do it.
The rooms were much larger than elsewhere in Hong Kong and absolutely spotless and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

DIY-spirit is strong here, if you are picky or used to only high class hotels, this might not be the place for you.. But for us it worked well and the location is beautiful, no doubt and stuff was very kind and polite, even when we were a little lost about everything.

I stayed here a year ago, and this time I could see the hotel has improved their services in terms of 1) proactive, efficient, friendly staff and 2) cleanliness. Great shower, nice comfy bed, as always.

It was much nicer than I expected. I reckon it is right price for the room quality. I and my partner enjoyed the view as well. But no breakfast included.
