We thought our front of house Maria! Was a breath of fresh air. Her hospitality was recognized and appreciated. We felt very welcome. She had made us feel very special. Thank you. Chryssa's hospitality is absolute outstanding. My arrival and departure times were both at night, but check-in, check-out and airport transfer was very flexible and without issues. My room was squeaky clean every day. The room was very nicely equipped. Extra points for the ironing opportunity and for that great hair dryer. If I'd visit Zakynthos again, it would be a no-brainer to check accomodations at Chryssa's first. And I recommend the nearby Meating Point to have a bite. The food is delicious, the place is chill - far from the heavy traffic road - and I think they share similar values in spirit and hospitality :))

I have never experienced such polite, helpful, kind, attentive staff in my life. This was by far one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Everyone went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Special mentions to Maria, another Maria, Emilia, Marinos, and Alexis. There was another beautiful girl who I’ve forgotten the name of, but all so helpful and kind.

Cozy boutique hotel, located near to Tsivili village, near to the beach. Peaceful place. Spacious modern rooms, wide range of acitivities (yoga,gym,spa, massages). The highlight for me was their heated pool. Delicious a la carte dinner (you can choose between 3 restaurants), friendly stuff (Mavra, Vicky, Athanasia at the front desk, the Hotel Manager, guys at the pool bar, our cleaning lady Svitlanka…everyone was so nice to us and made our stay enjoyable). Would come back anytime!

Exciting Holidays for Everyone

Surrounded by clear blue waters, Zakynthos (or Zante) is the 3rd largest island in the Ionian Sea, named after the son of Dardanus. This green island features mountain villages, fertile plains and gorgeous beaches.

Zakynthos was destroyed after the Great Earthquake of 1953 and rebuilt according to an anti-seismic code. Some of the buildings which were not damaged are St. Dionysios Cathedral, the National Bank and the church of St. Nicholas.

The island has one of the most famous Greek attractions - the spectacular Navagio Beach. Accessible only by boat, the 'Shipwreck' is an isolated beach with white pebbles and turquoise waters.

Set amongst olive groves and vineyards, the tourist resort of Tsilivi is full of traditional taverns and bars. The beach village of Laganas is a real gem for young people that love clubbing and are looking for a hotel on the Strip, but also for families seeking a shallow beach and warm waters. The pool and the beach are beautiful and were making sure we could totally relax during our stay in the hotel. Above all, all the staff is just amazing. They were helpfull and always kind and friendly. During the day we could order drinks and cocktails at the bar from the swimmingpool. The room was really big and comfortable and the housekeeping always came by on the time that we were leaving the hotel. At the breakfast the staff was very welcoming, they were making sure to start of your day with a smile. Our holidays in this hotel made our stay in Zakynthos really special. Thank you guys so much, we would love to come back again to you soon.

The location itself is amazing. It was my second time staying there and I can only talk about how great this hotel is. From the food, the staff to the location a 10/10. I also like that it is not a macro hotel, it is very cozy but modern. And the fact that is at front row of the beach is just very convenient.

The town of Zante is lively with plenty of shopping and restaurants. The beaches and water are amazing. Most offer sun beds with amenities to spend the day. Boat trips to caves and swimming spots are a must!

We enjoyed our week stay here although dead centre Laganas...

We enjoyed our week stay here although dead centre Laganas beach is not the prettiest if you are look for long stretches of sand! However there are so many nearby choices and the island is easy to travel around on. Even a "hike" lol to the nearby Turtle Island is manageable but you have to get there early as it is a tiny beach (obviously as it is within the sanctuary and there is a EU6 to enter) worth a visit though. Laganas has plenty of friendly cafes restaurants etc. It definitely is a Tourist Town but not as chaotically busy and crowded as Zante and further afield (Sept). We were devastated by the TRASH everywhere though. That is shocking and something the municipality really needs to address. If you can get past that, Laganas is a quaint tourist town with plenty to offer and a VERY HAPPENING night life 😉🎶

Calm and very nice area. Close to the sea, perfect for relaxation, away from the crowds. The only thing i do not like, but this is not related to this specific area, are the roads. The roads can be very bad, and if you navigate using google maps or waze, you'll definitely end up on narrow roads.

Too busy with British tourists, lacks nice restaurants and the beaches are a long way away from most of the hotels. Vasilikos much nicer all-round and we even preferred Laganas over Tsilivi even though that was super busy as well with drunken teenagers. Water park was meh also.

An abundance of Restaurants of many denominations, plus plenty of themed bars for drinks, all within walking distance, just perfect!!! The whole place is relaxed, happy, and just such a good place to be, a perfect location to unwind and enjoy after a few months hard slog at home. Or, a great location to hit the bars and live the high life, your choice, a fantastic location for singles, couples, groups and families alike, Kalamaki has just about everything, for everyone, and everyone is just so friendly; what a place to live, never mind just holiday!!!

We loved the beautiful beaches and crystal clear sea, the amazing Turtle Rescue Centre, Kostas' Brother Tavern and also Familia Tavern, The Bay Hotel, the landscape, with olive groves in abundance.

The property was very quiet and very clean, the water and the beach are very clean, we stayed late in the evening on the beach listening to music and watching the stars, the view was beautiful, in the morning the sunrise is a wonderfull, everything was perfect, the owners were very polite and good people

Just the right amount of busy for us as a couple and great for families with young children. The beach is lovely and there are plenty of restaurants to go. Supermarket there stocks everything you need.

There are lots of places to eat and drink in the town as well as a variety of shops. The town is very accessible from the airport and ferry port. There is a town beach within easy walking distance. It's easy to explore the island from here as the bus station and the tourist train are here.

A lovely town - definitely tourist central (main source of income) but there is so much more than "downtown" madness lol - Take a long walk to Turtle Island (go early to get your spot on the small beach, entrance fee of around Euro6). Hike the side roads admiring the olive trees and farm animals. Rent a quad or car and explore further afield. Tour pickups are readily available. The food, coffee and drinks are delicious and within reason depending on what you care to spend - LOVED the icecream cafe close to the beach and there is a delightful European Bakery to enjoy fresh cream or chocolate yummies. Almost everyone is friendly - like everywhere, if you smile and 'ask" courteously, in return you will receive a positive response! A week is a good stop - 10days if you are wanting to spend more time lounging on the northern beaches. A worthwhile happy stop :)
