The apartments are of high aesthetics, featuring excellent mattresses and impeccably clean sheets. The staff was polite, friendly, and always willing to help. I will definitely visit again! Arachova is not the place to have rounds with your car, Main Street is very narrow with two car lanes!!!
There are public parking lots, two of them just right after the village. Really worth the burden to visit the ancient sightseeing’s. Further to this the food is great and tasty, there are also a huge variety of suvenirs to get with you

The ancient city is very interesting on its own but combined with the dramatic landscape of steep mountains and views, it is wonderful!! There are a lot of stairs. The museum was definitely worth visiting. It got busy with tour groups so I suspect early or late in the day would be best.
We ate in two of the Tavernas with views. Both good.

The town has two coves used as harbours.
The town has two coves used as harbours. The yacht marina has many restaurants and pubs. There are several expensive hotels in the town and a few less expensive ones, as well as shops and a pharmacy. It is a charming, small town with many streets for walking by the sea. An Orthodox church stands tall above the town. which itself has a very long history, dating back to the 8th century BC. I was there in mid-September - no crowds, very pleasant stay.

Nice little village neat Parnassos. It feels like the local businesses are never ready to accommodate visitors in high demand period (Long weekends/ Holidays). However the scenery is really nice and you can surely enjoy your stay if you are looking for peaceful vacation in the mountains.

It is an excellent place to stay when you want to visit Delphi, but Itea itself has several restaurants and no shopping district or center for water sports. After you eat, you have pretty much seen Itea.

Heavenly stay in the quiet and beautiful mountains. A very friendly family run business - another good reason to support - offering very generous, delicious and home made freshly cooked food. Tina is an outstanding cook so is Vicky (her daughter) as a skilled barista.
Waking up to the birdsong and stunning views was only one of the treats of our stay. Breakfast was always freshly prepared and ready for us. Hosts provided plenty of useful guidance, recommendations and tips. Perfect location to explore Delphi and other inland spots. Looking forward to coming back! Big gratitude for your hospitality ❤️

This place is absolutely charming.
This place is absolutely charming. There are a number of small beaches right across from the village, many with a shower, changing cabin and umbrella. The harbor can't accommodate large boats so it's very serene with lovely views and a quaint town. I would like to come back here and stay for a week just to relax.

Great little village with fantastic taverns and friendly atmosphere. Very peaceful place. We have eaten in Stamatis Tavern and we were extremely impressed! I would definately recommend this place as Arachova gets very busy and packed with people.
