The hotel is in a great location, it has a very beautiful and quiet beach in front and many shops around where you can shop, the centre of Mykonos is about 20 minutes walk away and you can see beautiful landscapes on the way to the centre. My stay was fantastic the people who work at the hotel are very friendly and are always willing to help you in whatever you need. When I arrived I got lost and couldn't find the address but the gentleman picked me up very kindly and then to leave he offered me to take me to the port, this was very kind of him. Thank you all very much and good luck

I like to travel and I've been lucky enough to visit many places. But, this hotel surpassed everything so far. It has a very nice room and a panoramic view of the sea. The maids are very nice and friendly and cleaned the room every day as if we were arriving that day. The breakfast buffet is very tasty and has many choices. The hotel is close to the beach, a 10-15 minute walk away. I'll save the best for last. The staff is extremely friendly, kind, attentive and helpful. We always approached them with any questions or requests, and they ALWAYS helped us in a friendly and kind way. I would like to thank ALL hotel employees for their EXCELLENT work. Owner was there when we checked in, very professional, friendly ,accommodating and patient. Witnessed her interaction with a couple of difficult customers and she was admirable. Room was clean, comfy beds, inner garden to sit snd have breakfast. Taking into account the limited space available in Mykonos town.. garden is a luxury. Room size was just Ok for 4 people. We had our own corner balcony that could only sit 2 but it is understandable considering where you are. The lady serving us breakfast gets also top rating. We had lazy teens that slept past the breakfast time but she arranged trays with food for them to be eaten in the room. This hotel has been around for decades, is renovated , bathroom maybe 10 years old? But clean. Don't expect full height in the bathroom since they made them with storage space above in those times. So if you are over 1,95m maybe you can't stand up straight but better ask when you are booking. 5 min walk from main street where taxi drops you off. DON'T carry huge suitcases with you to this island, steps and cobble stone alleys. NO cars in old town This is a perfect location in the outskirts of the old town but still a couple minutes walk from everything.

The Exclusive Party Island

The ‘Island of Wind’, Mykonos is best known for its 16th-century windmills, good watersports and outrageous nightlife.

The capital is liberal Mykonos Town (or Chora), where windmills overlook beautiful Little Venice with whitewashed houses right on the water. Keep an eye out for Petros the Pelican – the island’s mascot - by the beach. The sunsets here are fantastic, but it’s after dark that the bars and clubs (including famous Cavo Paradiso) on its cobbled streets kick into life. This is the de facto Greek party island, but unlike less exclusive counterparts Malia and Faliraki, you might struggle to find cheap Mykonos hotels here.

A complete contrast is laidback Kalafati, popular with windsurfers. Good for surfing is Ornos, while next door Aghios Ioannis was the setting for the ‘Shirley Valentine’ film. Its sandy beach offers views of uninhabited Delos island whose archaeological sites are UNESCO World Heritage listed.

Elia has the longest beach, while around the coast is Platis Gialos, a popular resort with a good number of Mykonos hotels on the beach on Booking.com. Glass-bottomed boats departing from here give great views of local sealife.

Cruise ships dock at Tourlos and the turquoise waters of neighbouring Aghios Stefanos are sheltered by low hills. Inland, peaceful Ano Mera provides a taste of more traditional Mykonos life.

This was heavenly. An absolutely stunning hotel and location. The room was spacious, elegant and offered breathtaking views. Beds were comfortable and the shower was perfection. We utilised one of the dining areas and enjoyed the live music and festive Greek plate smashing - so much fun. The music were fabulous. We also enjoyed the bar - fantastic staff and range. Room service was the best room service we have had with staff setting up the dining experience outside on the balcony with candlelight. All staff were exceptional - professional and friendly, exceptional hospitality. The pool area, beach and transportation options were all fantastic. Cannot speak more highly about this hotel. Would absolutely stay here again and again.

The Rocabella Art Hotel, was an absolute gem,the warm smiles of the staff made us feel right at home. Their impeccable service and attention to detail were truly remarkable. Nestled amidst charming romantic view of the ocean and not far from main attractions, it was the perfect for my adventures. I visited near the end of October. It was perfect without the hordes of summer tourists. I found it so relaxing, wandering through the town. You could actually enjoy yourself. I would suggest visiting earlier in October for warmer temperatures. Although the daytime temperatures were warm, nights got a little chilly at the end of October.

Just far enough out of the busy streets of Mykonos town but a few minutes walk into Little Venice. The road in doesn’t have pavements and was a little scary to walk in the dark as cars come whizzing down .

The location was great to catch the ferry to Naxos.

The location was great to catch the ferry to Naxos. Sea taxi into Mykonos town and in the town was extremely busy with the people from the cruise ships. Mykonos is beautiful but very expensive. The new port for the ferry’s is a nightmare a free for all with very little help telling you where to go or what to do. I’m glad I’ve experienced it, but I won’t go again.

The location is very peaceful and centre of Mykonos, but slightly away from the Chora, however there was no problem for us since we hired a scooter, and with €6 of petrol we covered almost 60% of the city.

Very easily accessible to the main town.

Very easily accessible to the main town. Lots of restaurants. However, a big downside is that the restaurants are extremely expensive. It is very easy to get around Platis Yialos. It is a beautiful quaint part of Mykonos and highly recommend staying there. If we did not have access to the beach loungers via our hotel it would have been very expensive to do so.

LGBT friendly beach. Well, mostly men. Less noisy than Super Paradise. Nudist friendly, great vibes all arround. The only minus is the pricing and conditions because they impose a minimum charge from the bar, that they've never enforced, but still, it's a bit annoying when you already pay 70EUR for 2 sunbeds to also be forced to make a minumum order of 100 EUR from the bar. The beach restaurant is very good.

It was a wonderful property.

It was a wonderful property. I wish we should have stayed longer. It was close to the airport, however the road to get here is narrow and the drive was quite a challenge but you'll get used to it.

We stayed in Agios Ioannis during our trip to Mykonos and absolutely loved it. The location is ideal — quiet and peaceful compared to the busier parts of the island, yet still close enough to reach Mykonos Town in just a short drive. The beach is beautiful, with crystal-clear water and stunning sunset views right over Delos. What really stood out was the relaxed atmosphere. It felt like a true escape from the crowds, while still offering lovely tavernas and beach clubs within walking distance. The area felt authentic and safe, with a touch of luxury. If you’re looking for a spot in Mykonos that balances tranquility with easy access to everything, Agios Ioannis is a perfect choice. We left feeling refreshed and will definitely return!

Expensive sun beds that took up 95% of beach in the first week of Oct. Everyone squashed on a tiny section which was a real shame. Very good facilities around the area for food and supermarkets tho. Get bus to Agios Ioannis for lovely unspoiled beach with no bars

Ano Mera is a beautiful village away from the expensive...

Ano Mera is a beautiful village away from the expensive lively part of Mykonos. I would definitely recommend a stay here as the square restaurants are not overly expensive and the food is delightful. Ano Mera is a short 10 minute bus journey to the amazing beach of Elia.
