Al Thea offers the best customer service and top-notch facilities. We were particularly impressed with the swimming pool. The breakfast was delicious, featuring many unique dishes each day. The staff provided plenty of information and tips on the nearest beaches, which was very helpful. Our room (Room 4) was spacious, with a massive bed, air conditioning, and stunning views of the beach and the pool. We highly recommend this hotel! Please try to have lunch or dinner here as well. We had an excellent fresh fish prepared by the owner. Also, complementary figs on arrivals were the best in the world! 🙂 Thank you Maria 😍

We had an amazing stay at Helios Beach Hotel. The island and the beaches were very relaxing and beautiful. The hotel and its facilities truly contributed to one of the best holidays we ever had. The room and the bed were excellent with great view. We enjoyed the main swimming pool, had some great and tasty cocktails and snacks. The view from the outdoor spaces was mesmerizing. The personnel were very kind and helpful, ready to satisfy all our needs and requests. Looking forward to our next visit.

This place was excellent. I had a big room with a comfy bed, air conditioning, kitchenette and large balcony. Staff were wonderful - answered all my questions and very friendly. The pool is amazing with plenty of loungers and umbrellas. I did not have breakfast included but I did pay for it one morning and the selection was great. Very typical Greek breakfast assortment. (Cost 9 €) The property is a good 20 minute walk to town - which I didn’t mind, but something to be aware of especially on a hot day.

A beautiful hotel in a remote beach area. Perfect for those looking to unwind and love the sun and sea. Gorgeous pathways from the hotel that lead to many little beaches and bays to swim. There a little taverns and mini markets scattered around the area, however the hotel has a fantastic restaurant with delicious food with great offerings. I really enjoyed our daily breakfast we were spoilt for choice, especially loved the home grown figs. The town center is a 10 minute taxi drive or you can catch the bus. The staff were friendly and very helpful. My advice if wanting to visit the villages or other towns book a day or two ahead with reception as the island is remote taxis can be limited when it’s peak season. Overall I would stay again at this Beautiful hotel.

I have set the exptectations for a 2 star hotel with that range of price, but the structure surpassed by a lot my expectation. The position of the hotel is PERFECT, in the center of the biggest city, and with beaches reachable easy on foot. The cleaning was good, the buffet breakfast, for a 2 star hotel, was Excellent, the room big enough with AC in the room. And the Stuff was BRILLIANT to say the least, very helpful and supportive for any kind of request. Oh, and good wi fi everywhere in the structure from the room to the hall. Free wifi by the way.

The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and spacious enough for real cooking. The terrace offers views of both the mountains and the sea, while the surrounding gardens are filled with beautiful, fragrant flowers and fruit trees. Potali Bay – just a two-minute walk away – is charming and peaceful, though not ideal for swimming, as the shifting tide easily stirs pebbles underfoot. However, there are plenty of sandy beaches nearby to choose from – some perfect for children, others for nature lovers – all within a few minutes’ drive.

Anastasia is a kind and generous hostess. She has a beautiful garden. The apartment is well designed - it is airy, spacious and feels private. There is a beautiful view of Potali Bay from the balcony. It is a quiet location, but with a hire car suitable for exploring the island. There are several excellent restaurants within walking distance. Potali Bay Hotel was open all day during our stay and offered good food and snacks. The beach at Lefkos is superb for swimming.

Nice hotel, preety quiet atmosphere. Definitely deserves 4 stars. Joanna and her husband were very friendly and helpful. Delicius breakfast with various dishes. The room and bathroom are very confortable nicely decorated, everything is clean. If you like Greek food, then you should not miss the barbeque on Wednesday at the hotel. You won't eat better anywhere in the city. My wife and I enjoyed the hotel and highly recommend it for a holiday in Karpathos

Venezia Bungalows is a 25 minute walk to the centre of Pigadia. The exterior is very beautiful and well maintained with lots of flowers and greenery. There is a swimming pool. The accommodation is clean and tidy. Maria and the rest of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good. The dinner is excellent with lots of salads, meat and fish. The chef is excellent👏👏👏

Excellent apartment. The owners / staff were lovely and very helpful. Apartment was very clean. Nice pool which often was like our ‘private’ pool. Terrace in front of each apartment. Did lothes washing for us which was great half way through a 19 day holiday.

The location is great. The view of Kasos island and the sunsets are breathtaking. Quite place. Central location. Within 30-40 minutes you can reach all beaches. The private pools are really nice overlooking the Aegean sea.

Nothing pretty or spectacular about the town, it’s just a nice Greek port with restaurants around the bay, various shops further on, supermarkets and great gyros and coffee bakery’s, it’s a really lovely island, nice people and great beaches.

Arkasa is a lovely, quiet (at least in June) town next to one of the nicest beaches in Greece and beyond, Saint Nicholas Beach. It is a short drive from the airport and from other lovely beaches, including Lefkos and Finiki, where you can also find excellent fish and seafood restaurants. Arkasa has several nice tavernas, cafes and pastry shops to spend time in, several mini markets, and plenty of parking for visitors. You can also enjoy a beautiful sunset from here. It is about a 20-30 minute drive from the main town, Pigadia, and a shorter drive to villages like Menetes, Pyles and Othos.

I liked the beach.

I liked the beach. The sand is soft and the sea calm and shallow. There are few places to eat but enough for us. We had dinner usually at Calypso restaurant. The food was good ant the staff friendly. There is also a cocktail bar named Pebbles which is excellent. they offer very nice special cocktails. they have live music shows every Friday evening. the cocktails are a little expensive but the wine and beer prices ar mostly reasonable. In general Amoopi is a very quiet place. far from the crows and perfect for a relaxed vacation.

Olympos is a traditional village in the northern part of...

Olympos is a traditional village in the northern part of Kaprathos, about 50 klms from the airport/harbour and it takes about 1:30-1:50 mins to drive there. The view from Olympos is magnificent, especially in the west part, where you can enjoy the sunset. It's very quiet and even in the hottest summer days, it's not hot!

Karpathos Town is the hub of the island.

Karpathos Town is the hub of the island. Here are the best shops, a good selection of restaurants and all the transport connections. The buses are a bit limited but there is a good range of boat trips and ferries to choose from.

Amoopi is a very seaside small town on a slope, about 20 minutes drive from the main port town of Karpathos Island, Pigadia. Amoopi has two of the most beautiful calm protected and organized beaches of Karpathos, great tavernas, and a variety of non package deal accommodation options. Best to have a rental car when staying there to easily access the beaches, tavernas, Karpathos port (for boat or ferry trips) and for day trips to other locations on the Island. Our absolute favorite place to eat was Dimitrios Fisherman Taverna.

An amazing village with great history and unique Greek...

An amazing village with great history and unique Greek Easter celebrations. Good Friday, Saturday and Tuesday (right after the Easter Sunday) the whole village participates to the events and celebrations. It is an experience you should have at least once.

Not actually in Karpathos Town, but the village of Arkasa. It was a lively small Greek village with everything you could need. Easy walk to neighbouring Finiki. Twice weekly bus to beautiful beach at Kato Lefkos. Great walk to unspoilt coves beyond Finiki along coast path.

We loved the vibe - laid back, authentic and not overcrowded. It had all the things (beaches, restaurants, bars, stores) that we needed. Convenient to the airport (20 minutes) and nothing on the island is too far away, although the roads have a lot of ups, downs and curves, so you have to keep your speed in check….
