It is perfectly located - on the side of little bay - 5 minutes walk to restaurants and the very center, but far enough to have some privacy. Beautiful view from the master bedroom. The terrace is a perfect place to relax and it is possible to swim just across the pavement in the crystal clear and clean water. Hosts are vwey kind and helpful.

The upstairs apartment wasn't finished but the owner offered me the use of the terrace which had better views than the downstairs apartment where I was staying, which had restricted but still great views. Photo 1 is view from upstairs, photo 3 from downstairs terrace. Amazing restaurants and a taste of proper Greece, Halki is like a mini version of Symi without the mass tourists.

We loved the quiet morning on the terrace, fully equipped household, superb location. It’s only 10 minutes walk to the beach and 2 minutes walk to the restaurant and supermarket.
Maria is clear and reliable in communication, we felt in love with Chalki and Anteli accomodation

Fabulous location with direct access to beautiful turquoise clear water of the port as your swimming pool. This really was a fantastic plus. We loved the house. It was spacious & clean. Loads of complimentary shower gels, shampoo, conditioner provided. Also water, fruit & other provisions provided that were much appreciated. Within walking distance of lovely restaurants and supermarkets. It was truly paradise and we were sad to leave.

My wife and I have made several days trips from Rhodes to...
My wife and I have made several days trips from Rhodes to Halki over our last 6 successive annual visits... We love the island, its feel, and its peace and quiet, although our fav beach - Podamos - is now getting very busy.... A great beech cafe... changing facilities,and loos... 2 sunbeds for a day - 15E.... The beach is a wonderful bay - about 15mins ealk from port.. - very calm but cold clear water - you have to wade out miles to get out of your depth.... looking across to rugged boulder strewn hills and a lovely monastery with church yard..Recommend mid Sep as the best time to go... We have usually done a day trip, but this time booked a 1 nighter with accomodation, but had an enforced extra day due to weather ferry cancellation.... not too arduous that option..?! It is and will always be a Rhodes trip 'must do'..... and hopefully , same again in 2026..!!

Quite a little gem - we loved it!
Quite a little gem - we loved it! Has a bit of an Italian vibe to it due to its history. Great foil for the crowds in Rhodes - nice and quiet. Ultra friendly islanders who really made you feel welcome and had lots of suggestions. Some great intimate beach options - `I recommend using the sea taxi to get to some of them - and some nice little tavernas. with a coffee/pastry shop (get there early!). Worth a visit to the castle (via the islands taxi) with its history and well curated paths (we were 1 of 2 parties there on the day we went - so very quiet) and a lovely little taverna at the base parking area. Not too many shops for souvenirs and 3 or so supermarkets for all your essentials.

Halki is as peaceful as it is beautiful.
Halki is as peaceful as it is beautiful. An unspoiled island in the clearest blue Aegean Sea. The people of Halki are so welcoming and helpful. The restaurants offer great fresh food at very reasonable prices. All the beaches are clean and accessible. It is real gem! We always stay at Ftenagia as it is so peaceful ans only a short walk to the port.
