We had the most wonderful experience at HeyDay in Santorini, and it was all made even more special thanks to the incredible care and hospitality of Dimitris, the host. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel completely at home. He was always available with helpful tips about what to see and do on the island, arranged taxis and a rental car for us effortlessly, and even offered us a complimentary late check-out when he heard our return flight was scheduled for late in the evening — such a thoughtful gesture! The accommodation itself is serene and beautifully maintained, tucked away in a peaceful location that made it easy to relax and truly enjoy the Santorini atmosphere. The ambiance is calm, intimate, and perfect for a romantic or quiet getaway. Dimitris’ warm personality, genuine care, and attention to detail made our stay unforgettable. We felt truly looked after. It was the most quiet place I've ever been too. It was really relaxing and I felt comfortable all the time. I felt even home. The staff was really kind, friendly and helpful. We've experienced a great service and tried lots of their offers like tours e.g. it was great. This is a place I highly recommend to stay. The area Perivolos itself is wonderful, too. The beach is nearby. Just walking distance. Many options for a nice dine out experience. I'm looking forward to come back soon.

I was initially inclined to give this hotel 9/10, but I just hate to see how some spoiled people can drag down the reputation of this nice hotel... Because we ourselves after reading some reviews were hesitant... First of all, the breakfast is delicious and so many to choose from. We stayed for 14 nights and never got bored of the food choice. The coffee is good. The juices, well... had better... But the food, especially some typical Greek dishes (salads, Greek full fat yoghurt, grilled vegetables, grilled aubergine with cheese) was so delicious I miss it so much. Wide variety of eggs based dishes, too. The staff was very friendly, and we GOT help with our luggage. We got the two-story room with private jacuzzi and overall we liked the room very much. It was modern, clean, bigger refrigerator than usual hotel ones, one terrace with the jacuzzi and two sunbeds towards the back, one balcony with seating and table towards the pool. The jacuzzi isn't heated, which might have been a shock at first, but after some time in the heat it was actually very refreshing. The location is superb, almost on the beach. And while some guests moan about the lack of free sunbeds at the pool... 1) some rooms have own sunbeds 2) but mostly, you can free of charge spend the whole day on comfy sunbeds of the sister hotel right on the gorgeous beach. I would recommend water shoes when going into the sea because of the slippery bottom which is basically one huge rock. But boy, the black "sand" is probably the most comfortable and nice sand I ever experienced. It is made of these very little stones, so little and round it is practically a sand so very comfy to walk on bare foot, but not so tiny that it manages to massage your feet while walking on it. And one big benefit is that it's by far not as sticky and "get everywhere" as the "usual sand"... So why would you even choose to spend your whole holiday at the pool??!

We had a wonderful stay. Our room was spacious and simply decorated with a clean, minimalist design that carried a charming Greek vibe. It was spotless and cleaned daily. The hotel reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. A young man at the front desk stood out - his passion for his work was clear. He gave every guest his full attention, making everyone feel genuinely welcome. Every hotel would benefit from having such a dedicated team; it’s the kind of service that makes you want to return again and again. We had three meals included at the restaurant connected to the hotel. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. Over our 6-night stay, we had 12 meals there for lunch and dinner. The food was always fresh, tasty, and served in very generous portions - so much so that sometimes we didn’t order full meals because it was more than enough. There were a lot to choose from - starters, salads, mains (fish, meat, pasta and Greek dishes). The restaurant staff were friendly, laid-back, and had a great sense of humour. They made us feel welcome every time we walked in, always giving guests their full attention and Greek hospitality. Two swimming pools and beach nearby, beach chairs at the extra charge (15 euros) but worth it. We would definitely have the same holiday package again.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful spacious rooms in Santorini style. Hotel is in a quiet and a bit remote area of the island so like other reviews mentioned it's recommended to have a car, no problem for us though. We had a private pool, great for relaxing and just being in the sun. Personnel super friendly, everyone constantly gave their best to give us a great time. We'd like to especially thank Efi at the reception for being a fantastic host: she gave us the best tips for visiting the island, from the best views to the best places to eat (go to Fratzeskos in Perissa for a great seafood dinner!) and best spots in Oia to view the sunset.

Great location in a quieter AND cheaper part of the island. Super friendly and efficient staff. Excellent breakfast with small changes daily. Clean pool and free sun beds always available on the beach in front of the hotel. Bed was comfy and good sized room and bathroom. Check in and out was smooth and they even gave us breakfast boxes for our early departure. Highly recommend this hotel if visiting Santorini. Rent a car and see all the main sites at your leisure.

An excellent hotel which was exceptionally clean with good facilities in a great location. Ritsa was always very helpful with advice on what to do/see and how to get around the island. The hotel staff were very friendly and provided a great service. Staying in the south provided a quieter place to stay but so nice being away from the crowds of the north. The hotel was perfectly situated by being close to the beach and some great places to eat and drink.

It's a beach with the space being mostly private, so you have to find a little public spot to stay there if you're not into cocktails. There are lot of slippery rocks on the ground too! But the water is warm and the waves are super chill. You can just float around or swim without any difficulty or major disturbances.

Having stayed two weeks in Perissa, I dare say I know it a bit. It's a great mix of not too big of a town, plenty of groceries shopping spots, Restaurants with some great offers, nice beaches (even though one has to get used to black sand) and cultural spots like a very nice Orthodox Church and some historic ruins if you dare to hike a bit. It's wasn't too crowded either, so if you consider going, do so Early - Mid September.

A great range of restaurants - you never need to eat in the same place twice during your holiday. There is also a beach, with sunloungers for rental (between 10-25 Euros, for an umbrella with two sunbeds, depending on the vendor), watersports and local grocery stores.

Visiting Perissa in September was perfect – warm weather and plenty of sunbeds, or you can simply relax on the soft sand mixed with small pebbles. A short walk down the beach takes you to Perivolos, which is even better for swimming. Along the beach, you’ll find plenty of excellent restaurants and bars – Tranquilo and Ntomatini are must-visits! In the evenings, it’s lovely to stroll past the many little souvenir shops and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.

By far one of the best areas on the island to stay.

By far one of the best areas on the island to stay. Quieter than Fira, but with easy bus access to any part of the island you want to go. The restaurants and beaches are great. Please don't leave this area without making the long walk (or ride) to the end of the beach road to eat at Lava Tavern. It had the freshest, best food I had on the island.
