Greek hospitality at its best! When we arrived we were greeted by our super friendly host, George and a thoughtful welcome basket which was a treat! The room was very clean and beautifully decorated, the beds and pillows very comfortable and the best part? In the morning, our tasty breakfast arrived at our room! The famous Black beach is at walking distance and so are the local shops and bus stop. We could enjoy Santorini just like the locals, with great value for money as George told us the best local restaurants and bars. All in all, a super experience from every perspective. We’ll definitely come back!

I absolutely loved our stay at apricus. The hotel stuff were super welcoming and helpful with anything we needed and the hotel is an absolute gem. Super nice, clean, relaxing, confortable…. Loved our room as well as the swimming pool. You also have the beach 2 minutes away with all the variety of beach clubs to enjoy the day and night and is just 15/20 minutes away from Fira.

Absolutely everything about our stay here was perfect! Mara went above and beyond to make sure we had the most amazing and comfortable stay! This felt like something in between an Airbnb and a charter yacht, with a staff dedicated to making sure everything about your time in Santorini is flawless. We will certainly be back to this little slice of heaven very soon - and I know it looks too good to be true in the pictures, but believe it, everything about this place is real and we would stay forever if we could!

I was initially inclined to give this hotel 9/10, but I just hate to see how some spoiled people can drag down the reputation of this nice hotel... Because we ourselves after reading some reviews were hesitant... First of all, the breakfast is delicious and so many to choose from. We stayed for 14 nights and never got bored of the food choice. The coffee is good. The juices, well... had better... But the food, especially some typical Greek dishes (salads, Greek full fat yoghurt, grilled vegetables, grilled aubergine with cheese) was so delicious I miss it so much. Wide variety of eggs based dishes, too. The staff was very friendly, and we GOT help with our luggage. We got the two-story room with private jacuzzi and overall we liked the room very much. It was modern, clean, bigger refrigerator than usual hotel ones, one terrace with the jacuzzi and two sunbeds towards the back, one balcony with seating and table towards the pool. The jacuzzi isn't heated, which might have been a shock at first, but after some time in the heat it was actually very refreshing. The location is superb, almost on the beach. And while some guests moan about the lack of free sunbeds at the pool... 1) some rooms have own sunbeds 2) but mostly, you can free of charge spend the whole day on comfy sunbeds of the sister hotel right on the gorgeous beach. I would recommend water shoes when going into the sea because of the slippery bottom which is basically one huge rock. But boy, the black "sand" is probably the most comfortable and nice sand I ever experienced. It is made of these very little stones, so little and round it is practically a sand so very comfy to walk on bare foot, but not so tiny that it manages to massage your feet while walking on it. And one big benefit is that it's by far not as sticky and "get everywhere" as the "usual sand"... So why would you even choose to spend your whole holiday at the pool??!

That is a amazing place in Santorini(Perissa). Surrounded by splendid landscape. Peaceful with direct access to a sea from the beach. Outstanding, gorgeous view from balcony on the sea. Have spent unforgettable time with family. Travelling around the world and need to admire, that am amused of hospitality of this please. Never experienced in Greece, that much kindness. Hotel crew take care of you, even when closing restaurant and tidying out rooms every day, though. Restaurant serves tasty meals and cocktails. My 5 years old son stated that he does not want to return. Swimming pool is spacious and clean, sun beds are allocated with towels. Location of the hotel is on the south of the island, far away from crowded Oia/Fira which high value for me. Have been travelling by car.

We had an amazing time at Hotel Meltemi. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The pool area was beautiful and perfect for relaxing after exploring Santorini. Breakfast was varied and tasty, with plenty of options . The location in Perissa was excellent – just a short walk to the black sand beach, shops, and restaurants. We truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly return! After we left, we realized we had lost our wallet. We contacted the hotel, and they quickly found it and arranged to send it back to us. We’re very grateful – the staff are truly honest and kind. Highly recommended!

I loved it ! The staff was very friendly and helpful. He helped us with our luggage and even give us a map of the island and explained to us all major attractions to do for the duration of our stay. They made our bed each morning and even did our dishes which we did no expect. They changed our towels and cleaned he room everyday. The location was great, we were 2min of walk of a supermarket and restaurants. There was no noises, it was quiet and calm. We loved the pool, it was great. The bed was comfy. The bathroom was clean and spacious. It really exceeded our expectations.

Superb boutique hotel perfect for a quiet get away. Large room, incredible hotel pool and sandy beach right across the road with loads of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Amazing breakfasts and cocktails by the pool. Cant recommend this place highly enough if you are looking for a beach break away from the crowds in Fira and Ouia. We never had to book a table, lounger or wait for a table. We'll definitely be back.

TOTALLY LIVES UP TO ITS NAME. Absolutely the best place i've stayed in, in a long long time. Can not recommend more. There is a pool in the property, if that doesn't suffice, just walk 2 minutes and enjoy the beach. Bakery and coffee shop nearby and also a small supermarket. The hosts were phenomenal. Booking.com won't allow me to rate it a 12/10, it deserves every bit of it.

We asked for late check out and it was offered. Breakfast should be improved and more varied. The iced latte and natural juices at the beach bar should be improved.

Having stayed two weeks in Perissa, I dare say I know it a bit. It's a great mix of not too big of a town, plenty of groceries shopping spots, Restaurants with some great offers, nice beaches (even though one has to get used to black sand) and cultural spots like a very nice Orthodox Church and some historic ruins if you dare to hike a bit. It's wasn't too crowded either, so if you consider going, do so Early - Mid September.

the location is not what it seams, it is just between the main road and other construction sites or empty fields, with no nice view. Overrated prices on booking.com compared with the reception prices or any other nice hotels even in Oia.

Visiting Perissa in September was perfect – warm weather and plenty of sunbeds, or you can simply relax on the soft sand mixed with small pebbles. A short walk down the beach takes you to Perivolos, which is even better for swimming. Along the beach, you’ll find plenty of excellent restaurants and bars – Tranquilo and Ntomatini are must-visits! In the evenings, it’s lovely to stroll past the many little souvenir shops and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.

A great range of restaurants - you never need to eat in the same place twice during your holiday. There is also a beach, with sunloungers for rental (between 10-25 Euros, for an umbrella with two sunbeds, depending on the vendor), watersports and local grocery stores.

Perissa is a great place to stay for holiday and workcation. There are multiple location to eat food and to stay and to be honest, the prices are probably the best on Santorini! I enjoyed my time here and would return anytime.

By far one of the best areas on the island to stay.

By far one of the best areas on the island to stay. Quieter than Fira, but with easy bus access to any part of the island you want to go. The restaurants and beaches are great. Please don't leave this area without making the long walk (or ride) to the end of the beach road to eat at Lava Tavern. It had the freshest, best food I had on the island.
