actually I think it’s a great place, not luxurious but well maintained. It seemed to me that the room was freshly painted, the mattress was comfortable and the under the pillowcase the pillows were bright white, they had cotton with bamboo sheets and towels. The elevator is brand new or renovated (I am not an expert). I arrived late at night, but the receptionist came immediately outside to help me with the luggage and welcome me. While I was filling out the paperwork, Fotis (the receptionist) provided me with anti mosquito tablets and the heater for them. Later I had a need for an extension cord and he provided me with one. Also, during early September is extremely pleasant to sleep with the blinds closed on open windows, but there was a properly functioning air conditioner. Actually the shower cabin was a bit claustrophobic, but if you don’t close the shower doors it’s fine, the water was very hot and plenty for long showers. The staff was very nice, friendly and most of all they didn’t engaged me with small talks (because I hate those kinds of conversations), except to ask me if I needed anything and if it was a suitable time for the housekeeping. The view from the room is unbelievable, only palms and the sea. Plenty of restaurants and bars are very close, if you want a quiet vacation and to enjoy the time at Athens you will like it. There is a good option for public transportation to Athens that costs 2,90€, stops right next to the metro station and it is very convenient to get to the centre of the city. On my way back from Athens to Nea Makri I was so happy to escape the constant traffic and noise that Athens is. Ευχαριστώ πολύ!

We had a wonderful time at Calamos Beach Club in September 2024, staying in this hotel with my two friends. We want to express our sincere satisfaction with the unforgettable experience. The hotel is located in a very quiet, picturesque area where we could completely relax and enjoy the nature, and most importantly, the beautiful sea. What made it even better was the proximity to Athens, which is easily reachable by public transport. This is the perfect combination for those who like to blend beach relaxation, peace, comfort, and sightseeing.
The hotel is right on the beach, and we stayed in a two-bedroom family room. From the balcony, the sea view was simply breathtaking. The all-inclusive system worked perfectly: there was always enough food, and it was delicious.
We would like to thank the hotel staff, especially the reception team. A special thanks to Administrator Stavroula for her attention, professionalism, and warm attitude. She was always ready to help, offer advice, and ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Such support is invaluable when you are in a new place.
We highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and comfortable stay in Greece

A lovely overnight stay, a 30 minute taxi ride from the airport. The hotel organised the taxi for us and we paid the driver E45 - the going rate. We walked along the coast to the little harbour town to the right of the hotel (as you look at the hotel from the sea). We ate at a wonderful restaurant - XH.MA - not touristy, great food.
The breakfast at the hotel was very good - lots of options, including gluten free and vegan.
Staff was very pleasant and helpful.
The view from our room and balcony was excellent. The room is very large and the bed was comfortable.
The welcome cocktail at check in and the bowl of fruit in our room - very nice touch.
If you are passing through Athens as we were and want a break from the city, this is the place for you.

Great place, very close to the airport. Like a little oasis of calm before we had to fly out. Parked the car on the street and we were invited to park it on site. With the little glass room which served food, the pools and hammocks we had all we needed for a relaxing final night in Greece.
Staff were excellent and very friendly. Room was lovely. Would have loved to spend longer!

This was pure luxury without pretension. The interiors were modern yet cozy, the amenities excellent, and privacy was respected. We spent hours just enjoying the terrace and sea breeze. A truly calming and elegant experience.

Awful experience.
Awful experience. My flight was delayed and I arrived around 1 AM. The host told me the booking was cancelled because it was late — but no one ever informed me about that. She hung up on me several times and offered no help.
We were left outside in the rain with our luggage, had to take another taxi back to the airport, and ended up sleeping on the floor for seven hours. Still waiting for the refund she promised. Totally unacceptable.

The property was spotless.
The property was spotless. The ower was suportive and offered the transfer to the international airport because there was taxi industrial action at the time.
The appartment was very close to the sandy beach. And you may find a very nice bakery round the corner and many shops. To sum it up I intend to return to this property again while traveling .

My father was born here so my 1st cousins live here.
My father was born here so my 1st cousins live here. I brought my husband and sons here to introduce them. I loved my stay here meeting up with them again and revisiting all the places I’d been to before and seeing how much things had changed.
It’s a beautiful little town with the beach being so close too.

Even the taxi drivers were having difficulty finding the hotel.
Unfortunately we won't be visiting again !
Absolutely would not recommend it if you want a fun packed holiday with great quality food and drink !

Rafina îs a nice place to stay if you eat to be close to the airport .
We spent 2 nites and hired a car . This means you can drive to Rafina ( an EASY 25 min drive ) and the next day we drove back to the airport to take the tram into Monastraki Athens to go to Plaka etc and back to the airport ( 9Euro each way ) .This way no parking issues in Athens .
The Port Rafina is cute with dozens of great restuarants in the port

Great place close to Athens airport good if you want to avoid the outrageous prices at the airport hotel. We had a rental car and it was easy to find on Google maps. The host sent us the GPS coordinates.

Our trip was during the off-season, and it was very quiet.
Our trip was during the off-season, and it was very quiet. The restaurants were quiet and not many people around. It is not a pedestrian friendly town and there is very little space to walk on the side of the roads. However, we commented that it would be a nice place to visit during high season and spend a few days away from the city hustle and bustle.

Not a lot to do in the direct area around the hotel , apart from watersports. Taxi 30 mins to ferry in Lavrio takes you to the island of Kea. Also different direction to cape sounio for Poseidon temple, which is worth a visit.

If you're having problems with walking, you should think twice, from the rooms to the beach and pool is not far away, but if you're old enough to have some difficulties with steps and walking, be careful. Other than that, for kids, for adults, a perfect place... Beach, sea, pool, everything was so good.

Booked for 2 nights as a stop-over to connect with a cruise leaving Port Lavrio.
As was close to Cape Sounion, took advantage and visited the Temple of Poseidon which we enjoyed.
Only problem, the venue closed to the public before we could photograph the site before sunset, which was supposed to be the highlight?!
