The scenery from the top-floor room is fantastic. I used to check out the Parthenon from my window at different times of the day, bathed in different sunlight. The hotel is modern, very stylish and perfectly positioned within walking distance of everything, and yet away from the crowd. Staff members are very welcoming. There is always a nice treat and refreshment served in the reception hall. Breakfast is very nice - small samples of a large variety of very high-quality food. And the view from the restaurant!!!

Amazing sea view from the rooms! When being on the terrace it seems like you are sitting in the the sea. I want breakfasts last forever! You feel just like home with such a caring personnel. Everyone is veery friendly. Peggy is the mama of the restaurant and Evi is the most hospitable receptionist I’ve ever met and very nice person. If I could change my plans, I would stay there longer. Contemplating the Acropolis at sunset, on the rooftop, toasting with a complimentary wine... What can I say... The hotel is a luxury. For its location, for its cleanliness, for its equipment, for the warmth of the people who manage it... I don't have a single "but". My wife and I spent some really wonderful days there. The room was ready even though we arrived early. And when it was time to leave they kindly called a cab for us. The staff is warm and friendly at all times. From the owners, receptionists, to the cleaning staff, greetings to the lady from El Salvador. :) A luxury, I repeat. Thank you very much. evening falls, toasting to the light coming from the Acropolis

The staff were very nice, very serviceable, always listened, helped with everything I asked and even consulted with me about questions that I had about athens, my trip, etc. The location was great, in the heart of the city, The room was big, clean, and had a pretty view and had everything I needed and even more for staying there (including a very comfortable bed!), The breakfast was superb, very good and unlike all the hotels it offered an a la carte menu that was very refreshing to me. All in all everything about the hotels was superb, the staff, the service the room, and the location. Very recommended!!!

Athens is a city full of history...we staryed for 8 days and...

Athens is a city full of history...we staryed for 8 days and we managed to see all the important ancient sites as well as make a day trip to Delphi, Meteora and a half day trip to see Posidens temple on the southern coast. Do not rush, recommend at least a week as it is a large city and it takes a while to get from place to place.

Rafina îs a nice place to stay if you eat to be close to the airport . We spent 2 nites and hired a car . This means you can drive to Rafina ( an EASY 25 min drive ) and the next day we drove back to the airport to take the tram into Monastraki Athens to go to Plaka etc and back to the airport ( 9Euro each way ) .This way no parking issues in Athens . The Port Rafina is cute with dozens of great restuarants in the port

In terms of location, it's a bit complicated to get to the apartment, but we found it after a few minutes of walking. The owner of the apartment is nice, the bed is nice, the room is decorated in a beautiful antique vintage, the balcony is large with a beautiful view of the forest. There was one regular shower and a bath and they were really nice and useful.

This is a great place close to the water and many restaurants and shopping. We walked most places but took a taxi to Marathon. This is a local holiday vacation place so some apartments were closed for the season but the restaurants were open. We loved it.

Very quiet place to rest after your cruise!

Very quiet place to rest after your cruise! Even the taxi drivers were having difficulty finding the hotel. Unfortunately we won't be visiting again ! Absolutely would not recommend it if you want a fun packed holiday with great quality food and drink !

I booked a room for one night just for myself. I stayed in room 24 and it was perfect. I recommend the downloading of WhatsApp, because this lodge is staffed remotely. Through this app, staff will communicate with you and give you very clear and precise instructions. For short stays, this is a great place to stay.

You should come to Marathon for its history and archaeology, definitely not if you want night life or a vibrant restaurant scene. It's a quiet village, with very limited shopping facilities (but there's a large post office and a pharmacy).

If you are looking for a more affordable prices for food, this is not the right area to stay but the location and convenience are unbeatable. If Acropolis is the main attraction you wanted to visit, then stay here. If not, look further and stay in other neighbourhoods further away for affordability
