View from the balcony was stunning I had my coffee in the morning sharp 8:30 at the door. A day before I leave coffee didn't come (due some misundertanding perhaps) and on the final bill I wasn't charged for coffee and water at all for all those days I stayed.
A hotel is located in an not so high uphill so you can eat and drink everything you like not to worry about your weight 😄 (guarantee!)

SpainIt is absolutely the best place in Agistri. After 5 years going in the summer, Laza is the best. It is 2 mins away from the noisy night area so the location is wonderful for rest calm. The host is really caring and nice, the food is delicious, the breakfast unbelievable, the beach has the clearest water, the rooms are so confortable...I had the best experience ever and will come back always.

We really liked the location. We were almost at the center of Skala very close to the bakery, coffee bars, restaurants and various shops. Some of the beaches were easily accessible by 5 min walking and we went to the others such as Dragonera, Aponisos and Chalikiada by scooter. Communication with Nectaria was excellent and she was very available and kind to us for any information or anything else we needed. The cleaning of the room and the change of bed linen and towels was done every day. We really enjoyed these holidays and I believe we will come back again next year. Thank you for everything!

Our hosts, Katerina and Kostas, were exceptional in their hospitality. We directly felt like family. Everything exceeded our expectations. They welcomed us with generosity and kindness. They offered to move us to a bigger apartment without extra charges as there was space. Sunrise studios were perfectly clean and super comfortable. Nothing was missing.The view from the apartment was simply amazing! We highly recommend this place and already know that if we visit again, that's where we will stay surely.Thank you again!

a lovely quiet little villiabge, hugging the coastline with spectacular sunsets and beaches. Plenty of options for food and refreshments, and some shops for holiday essentials. Easy drive to the end of the island (Only really one road) to beautiful beaches with beach bars and loungers and easy parking.
Skala has a jetty catering for the various ferries plus visiting yachts. the beach is great for swimming - soft white sand, with no rocks or weeds, shelving very slowly.

Extremely clear and warm waters! The island is generally green! Overall the location has everything you need, such as several restaurants and bars, however it does not have many bank services for withdrawing money!

Megalochori is a small village, Noima Hotel where we stayed was opposite the beach. There is a promenade right on the beach for early morning walks or jogging. The port is 3 minutes walk away, so we didn't need a taxi or a car to move around. You can rent motorbikes, bicycles and you can go round the island. There is an efficient and prompt bus service which takes you to the two famous beaches of the island (Dragonera and Aponisos). Both worth a day's visit and the sea is unbelievably clear and inviting.

Having regularly visited the island of Agistri for day-trips...
Having regularly visited the island of Agistri for day-trips in the past, last year we decided to stay at Skala for 3 nights. Our hotel at that time, although very good, was very near restaurants and bars which made it rather noisy.
This year we stayed for 4 nights and opted for a guest house a little further away from the main area of Skala. Our choice proved most suitable to us.
There are several hotels and guest houses. Skala has a wide range of restaurants, cafes & bars and those we visited based on web reviews proved to be very good. All restaurants have music (thankfully not all with loud volume). There is also a superb bakery, with a good barista service too!
The main beach (sandy) is very pleasant.
Frequent ferry service to nearby island of Aegina and port of Piraeus.
As we were leaving in late June, it felt as if the island overall has become increasingly popular (it certainly does not appear to have affected the overall experience of the place) and anyone wishing for a more relaxed stay might prefer to visit during the shoulder season, then again that applies to most places!

I really loved this side of Agistri, honestly, when we had to pack up and move to a new room in Skala,I was sad. I really enjoyed the quiet, tranquil setting of Megalochori. Do yourself a favor and book a trip with Kristos on the Jaimaca boat tour, it was a fabulous experience. He also plays the Bazookie exceptionally well. It was incredible to see the shipwreck he takes you to and lunch in Methana was perfect. Can’t say enough about it. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment we had on this side of Megalochori.
