She walked us to our room and brought our bags right after. There was a balcony in our room and everything was so clean.
We loved the breakfast. There were many options.
We loved that it was a 3mins walk from the port.
We loved that it was right on the beach.
The staff was very nice. If we ever go back to Agistri, we will definitely stay there again.

PolandWe loved the hotel, owner was really nice and accommodating, room very comfortable and next to the beach but not in the centre of the city so it was more peaceful. Breakfast was phenomenal, and we often ate dinner at their restaurant as well it was delicious. Beach beds are perfect you can just relax and the view is breathtaking. We will be back!

But you can really enjoy it because they have quiet time from 3 pm to 6 pm. The food at the restaurant is very tasty but more expensive than the rest of the island. First time on the island of Agistri. We could not have chosen a better place. This family runned studios are excellent in every way. Spotless clean and very comfortable. Our room had a stunning balcony view to the sea. Excellent value for money. Equipped with everything you may need when staying in a holiday studio apartment. It's situated on a perfect location near the beach, eateries and the Catamaran boats coming from Piraeus. Hosts Katerina and Kostas are the loveliest and friendliest people you will meet and nothing is too much trouble for them. I would recommend Sunrise Studios to everyone without any hesitation. This apartment studio is the main reason we had the best time on Agistri. Thank you very much for everything!

The location was very nice. Near Skala port, the beach and start of a hiking path. I had a view of the sea and the sound of the waves on the shore was very relaxing in the morning and evening hours. The balcony and the room itself was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The sheets and towels were replaced daily. All this for an amazing price (I visited in the off season so this may vary). The staff was very kind and professional. Also as a side note, I accidentally left a belonging when I checked out and the lady was so kind to send it back to me by boat. Very sweet of her and I thank her so much for that!

- The apartment was spacious

- City center was close by but still the apartments were in a quiet area
- Unrelated to the apartment itsself, i would always recommend staying in Skala when visiting Agistri

a lovely quiet little villiabge, hugging the coastline with...
a lovely quiet little villiabge, hugging the coastline with spectacular sunsets and beaches. Plenty of options for food and refreshments, and some shops for holiday essentials. Easy drive to the end of the island (Only really one road) to beautiful beaches with beach bars and loungers and easy parking.
Skala has a jetty catering for the various ferries plus visiting yachts. the beach is great for swimming - soft white sand, with no rocks or weeds, shelving very slowly.

Extremely clear and warm waters!
Extremely clear and warm waters! The island is generally green! Overall the location has everything you need, such as several restaurants and bars, however it does not have many bank services for withdrawing money!

Megalochori is a small village, Noima Hotel where we stayed was opposite the beach. There is a promenade right on the beach for early morning walks or jogging. The port is 3 minutes walk away, so we didn't need a taxi or a car to move around. You can rent motorbikes, bicycles and you can go round the island. There is an efficient and prompt bus service which takes you to the two famous beaches of the island (Dragonera and Aponisos). Both worth a day's visit and the sea is unbelievably clear and inviting.

Having regularly visited the island of Agistri for day-trips...
Having regularly visited the island of Agistri for day-trips in the past, last year we decided to stay at Skala for 3 nights. Our hotel at that time, although very good, was very near restaurants and bars which made it rather noisy.
This year we stayed for 4 nights and opted for a guest house a little further away from the main area of Skala. Our choice proved most suitable to us.
There are several hotels and guest houses. Skala has a wide range of restaurants, cafes & bars and those we visited based on web reviews proved to be very good. All restaurants have music (thankfully not all with loud volume). There is also a superb bakery, with a good barista service too!
The main beach (sandy) is very pleasant.
Frequent ferry service to nearby island of Aegina and port of Piraeus.
As we were leaving in late June, it felt as if the island overall has become increasingly popular (it certainly does not appear to have affected the overall experience of the place) and anyone wishing for a more relaxed stay might prefer to visit during the shoulder season, then again that applies to most places!

I really loved this side of Agistri, honestly, when we had to pack up and move to a new room in Skala,I was sad. I really enjoyed the quiet, tranquil setting of Megalochori. Do yourself a favor and book a trip with Kristos on the Jaimaca boat tour, it was a fabulous experience. He also plays the Bazookie exceptionally well. It was incredible to see the shipwreck he takes you to and lunch in Methana was perfect. Can’t say enough about it. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed every moment we had on this side of Megalochori.
