The hotel is brand new and the room was tastefully decorated with modern furniture. Cleaning is spotless, breakfast is always rich, including a wide selection of things you could choose from. What's more important, the staff was really kind and helpful towards our needs. Many thanks to Beka and Tea, who did their best to make our stay comfortable and pleasurable. Also, the location is great, as it's situated close to the attractions in Mestia, while still being really quiet.

We arrived at the hotel during the off-season and were the only guests there that day. The owner—a lovely man(!)—didn’t speak much English, but he did everything he could to make us feel welcome. He gave us a warm, heartfelt experience: prepared a wonderful breakfast, lit a bonfire for us overlooking the mountains, and more. All the rooms have balconies facing a breathtaking view, because the location itself is absolutely stunning. So even though it felt a bit unusual to be the only guests at the hotel, we never felt like a burden and had a truly romantic and memorable stay. The room was cozy, the bed was comfortable, everything we needed was there—a wonderful and romantic place to relax.

This is a wonderful hotel that combines ancient architecture with new and modern rooms. My room was beautiful, comfortable, clean, new, and had an incredible mountain view from the window. The hotel is located in one of the most beautiful and convenient places in Mestia. It's just a couple of minutes' walk to the main street and very close to the Margiani Museum. The hotel has its own restaurant, which probably serves the most delicious food in Mestia. The breakfasts were very tasty and filling. The hostess Nini was extremely responsive, friendly, and quickly helped with solving any, even the smallest, issue. And she also sings Svan and Georgian songs beautifully, which creates a special atmosphere surrounded by the ancient walls of the hotel. Also, large Svan-Italian dog named Masi lives in the hotel, whose presence has a therapeutic effect on the guests. So, to wraping it up, if you appreciate authenticity, warm human communication, excellent cuisine, and modern comfort - this hotel is for you. I will definitely come back here again."

We loved every moment that we spent here and even decided to return for an additional night. There are multiple rooms to choose from; we stayed both times in the “tree house” which is unique and has a fantastic view. The family that runs the location is generous, loving and extremely hospitable. They do everything in order to make one feel at home. At night, around a bonfire, we sat with the family and other guests as they sang Georgian folk songs and played instruments. It was a unique and unforgettable experience! In addition though it need not be said, the view is incredible and indescribable. One can find true peace staring at the mountains and forests from the lower swings or the upper deck. The homemade food and wine is tasty. And of course the atmosphere makes it even better!

This is a very good value hotel, which is primarily used for tour groups. The hotel is only ten minutes walk from the centre. We had a room on the third floor overlooking the mountains which was very good. The room is a good size and the twin beds were surprisingly, extremely comfortable. Simple breakfast but adequate. WiFi in our room was very weak, however in the reception area there is a strong signal. Outside the front of the hotel in the garden, there is a very good covered terrace area with plenty tables and chairs. The manager was very pleasant and helpful with any requests. Overall great value.

A really wonderful hotel in the middle of nature, in a quiet valley that offers amazing walks and scenery. Very well equipped rooms with feather blankets and beautiful views. Friendly staff, even a guest library, a lot of information about the area! Stayed for two nights after the mestia-ushguli hike, just to stay a bit more in the mountains. Safe village with rich Svaneti Historical museum.

Safe village with rich Svaneti Historical museum. Worth to visit Laghami church as well. In the country, which is famous for wines, visiting local beer brewery "Setieli" might be an exotic adventure and fun. Favourite place to eat Lanchvali restaurant, if too tired to get up to the hill, "Lushnu Our" might be the second choise, although too crowdy. Cable car get you up to Zuruldi masiff. Mestia is great location for those who enjoy one day trecking and walks.

Ushguli is a wonderful city with its stunning nature and historical beauty, perfect for resting after long trekking and hiking adventures. Tamar Castle is a must-visit spot. Located at the upper part of the city, it’s reached via a scenic path intertwined with a dried-up riverbed. The view of the city from the castle is breathtaking. Additionally, vibrant wildflowers along the mountains add a colorful charm to the city’s atmosphere. After a 6-day hike, we arranged a taxi back to Mestia with help from the facility where we stayed. It’s also easy to find many taxi drivers in the city square.

A small port town with not much to do, but you can check out the lighthouse, stroll through the town center, and enjoy some good food. Maltakva Beach is decent too. I’ve heard that trash from nearby rivers sometimes washes up on the beach — something to keep in mind.

Martvili Canyon is a breathtaking natural wonder.

Martvili Canyon is a breathtaking natural wonder. Paddle through its emerald waters on a boat, gazing upwards at the towering limestone cliffs adorned with lush greenery. The tranquil silence is occasionally broken only by the melodic chirping of birds and the gentle gurgling of cascading waterfalls. For an adrenaline rush, consider the zipline that soars over the canyon, offering a truly exhilarating perspective. While it may come at a slight premium, the experience is well worth it.

Zhabeshi is the first overnight stop on the most common route taken by hikers walking the iconic Mestia-to-Ushguli hike. (There are alternative routes that bypass Zhabeshi.) The village is located in an exquisite valley just below the confluence of the Tviberi and Tsaneri Rivers, nestled under the slopes of Tetnuldi and Banguriani peaks in the Greater Caucasus Range. If you're into mountain environments and ancient villages steeped in history, it doesn't get much better than this.

Mazeri is marvelous place if you want to connect with nature...

Mazeri is marvelous place if you want to connect with nature. everything is authentic and not influenced by technology as it is in metropolitan areas. Air is clean and evening till morning is quiet. Godd place for hiking and camping, near by water falls and Ushba mountain has its impact on the place. I have not hiked until the Glacier however reaching waterfall area and crossing wooden bridges were thrilling enough for me. Just to highlight, as it is country side do not expect to have restaurants or Cafeteria or grocery shops. Locals with guesthouses and English language is not their preferred language. Russian language is commonly understood there. Expect simplicity and infrastructure of basic countryside with no complications. So far I had 3 visits to Mazeri, for sure I would prefer to have my own transportation to match my need and convince. If you would hire a driver there then should negotiate as prices varies and public transportation will be limited. Renting a horse is fun, if you cannot ride then can hire a guide along with the horse with extra pay. Hores rental is not expensive, during my visit about US $38 per day

We really liked Mestia surrounded by magnificent mountains.

We really liked Mestia surrounded by magnificent mountains. It's a small cozy town. Wooden and stone buildings perfectly complement the mountain scenery. As for food, for a small town there is a good choice of restaurants, cafes, and there are also small grocery stores. We mostly went hiking near Mestia and got a lot of positive impressions, enjoying the amazing scenery.

It is a small town with many cars. Dadiani's palace and botanical garden are must-sees, and the rest are the courtyards of Zugdidi residents with beautiful flowers. 2 days is enough. It is very similar to a village, only one main street is similar to a city :)
