SpainI ended up here by chance… my flight got canceled and all the hotels at Gatwick and surroundings were fully booked so I found this one on booking and arrived very late at night. The hotel was stunning, the bed extremely comfortable and Thomas at the reception made my day! When I woke up the next day I found up I had slept in the middle of a golf club lol I had breakfast on a sunny terrace and walked around the little forest. I wish I play golf so I could go back here! Simply amazing, peaceful and beautiful place!

The rooms are modern, clean & we'll stocked for bathroom goods, also great tea & coffee making facilities. This Pub/Hotel is right up there with the best that I've stayed in whilst on my travels around the UK & Ireland. I'll definitely be checking back in the next time I'm down that way. The food in the Bar/Restaurant was exceptional too...... It's a full 10/10 for me 👌👏👏

This is not only the find of the trip, but the best find of the last 5 years of travelling.
First, after 5 nights in 2 other 'luxury' 'exclusive' & 'smart' hotels, we thought this would be a disappointment, or at least be a little old and shabby ...
How completely wrong we were.
We were welcomed by Nicky, (more later) 2 hours before check-in, and while the room wasn't quite ready, we were offered somewhere to store the bags, a huge sofa to relax on, and truly outstanding food.
After a week of meetings, slight disaster at one location, and then a non-stop 16 hour day in London, this was a super suprise.
Nicky manages the whole hotel and restaurant with the pure class, cool and confidence that only comes from many years dealing with passengers on 'The World's Favourite Airline', and I haven't met a better manager in the last 20 trips. And that right across the board, from Gastro pub to Country club to 5 Star London landmark. She makes everything seem like it isn't the slightest of bother, delivers exactly what is offered or promised, and from our 48 hours with her, truly cares about her team, the hotel and of course the guests.
When we were given our room, the suprise continued, not only freshly refurbished, but not a single item that didn't work, the latest Samsung Smart Hotel Tvs, and decorated in a fun and modern way. And then the bed. ... the bed was larger, better dressed and presented, and more comfortable than any other in my last 5 trips to the UK. And while there are no baths in the hotel, the shower was super modern, wet-room style, with separate rain shower head and hand shower.
And to top it off....immaculately, almost compulsively clean. With no corners cut.
So, as far as the hotel, the welcome, the room, the food and the service..... truly 5* quality, with countryside pub charm, for distinctly 1-2 star pricing.
And then the above and beyond.....

I loved my stay here! I got an upgrade in my room. The room has a classic English design interior keeping the character of the original building. It’s very comfortable and feels cosy and seems like it’s been recently refurbished. Like home away from home. The bathroom is modern and clean and they have provided beautiful Elemis products. They even provide a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, tea, coffee, biscuits, and deeelicious luxury popcorn snacks. It’s just a 3 minute walk away from the high street and great value for money. The service is fab, very friendly, attentive and down to earth staff. Scarlet on reception was particularly helpful. I really enjoyed my stay and will be back.

Outstanding renovation of this lovely English pub/hotel/restaurant!!! Only 25/30 mins from Heathrow ….and right on Virginia Water Park.
Incredibly peaceful, spacious, super comfortable room with lovely en-suite bathroom and great shower.
Excellent value which included a delicious choice of breakfast menu…I had the dill and sour cream salmon and poached egg, beautifully presented.
Staff are lovely and my little dog was made super welcome as we sat around the open fire in one of the bars.
Really special and great value place to spend the weekend or longer!!
Oh and parking was also included!!

We booked 2 rooms to stay with our 2 kids and our labrador dog. We were housed in a separate beautiful lodge with 2 adjacent rooms. The rooms and adjacent bathrooms were spacious and luxurious, the beds were very good so we had good night sleeps.
Our dog was welcome in the bar and outside terrace and the flood served was delicious.
For breakfast you can select what you would like to eat and it will be cooked for you, of course next to this you can still have yoghurt, viennoiserie (croissants etc.), muesli etc.
The restaurant serves excellent a la carte dinner.

Everything was great. Check-in was quick and easy, rooms are scattered over 2 floors so no long waits for the elevator, staff go above and beyond to provide the best service. The breakfast buffet is to die for as is evening buffet, the hotel grounds are lush and health club has so much to offer for the much needed r&r that we sought. It's a stone's throw to the train station for access to surrounding areas and London and parking is free.

Everything was amazing. The room (more like a suite) was out of this world. It had a beautiful spacious feel to it, combining an oldy-worldy charm with modern facilities. First-class food, comfortable bed, superb spa and health facilities. I felt utterly relaxed after two nights at this hotel. All the staff were helpful and friendly and highly professional. I noticed little things they did.

I enjoy that comfotable night sleep aftre a long 6 to 7 hours coach journey brfore my next day flight. Being disabled and a very anxious traveller the staff is always welcoming always trys to help me the best way they can. Overrall a great place to stay. If you are looking for a good night sleep.

We stayed in Ripley,a small village about 6 miles away from Woking . Very pretty,lots of pubs,shops,cafes and a good English restaurant amongst others. Played cricket on the village green on Saturday afternoon.
Well worth a visit to RHS Wisley just up the road .

Room wasn't very clean, lots of cobwebs and the carpets are really dirty. But friendly staff that go above and beyond. Lots of places to eat and there is a lovely river and playground for the children
No hot chocolate or biscuits in the room for the children. No veggie options for breakfast, you have to ask for veggie sausages and they take a while

Not an awful lot around Camberley, The Rose and Thistle at Frimley Green is a nice pub with a good menu. There seems to be plenty of places to eat within a 5 mile radius.
We stayed in the area because we went to Wisley Gardens it was a reasonable travel distance.

Poor information in room resulting in my having no wi-fi and no phone signal
Booking.com advertised price included breakfast when in fact it didn't.
When I went to sort it out with reception I was led to believe that they would give me a courtesy breakfast as they did'nt want me to be disapointed but when I got home it turned out they had charged it to my debit card!
All in all I would expect better from Holiday Inn
