A Gorgeous homely yet modern property with the most welcoming of staff made for a truly enjoyable experience. My home-from-home for a week was comfortable, great value has great food and drink choices at very reasonable prices and the location was perfect for me. I stumbled across the establishment purely as they have Tesla EV chargers on site, and I was not disappointed by anything else the place has to offer! I’m now looking to find any excuse to visit again! Many Thanks to the entire team at Gwesty Links

The property was beautiful. We were arriving late so I rang ahead to find out if we could eat when we arrived and Blanca on reception was so so kind, sending us the menu via email and taking our order to make sure we could have food when we arrived. Blanca also when we arrived was so helpful with recommendations and helping us with our holiday. A wonderful member of staff.

After finishing a hike on the 177-mile Offa’s Dyke, this hotel made the perfect reward. Our warm and cozy room had a great view of the ocean as the sun set. Best of all, the shower pressure was the best I’ve ever seen in the UK. Well appreciated! The staff in the hotel and the restaurant were especially nice. We’d happily return here again.

We were only there for one night so there wasn't time to explore. We had lunch at the Wetherspoons Palladium, which is an interesting venue as it is an old theatre. Lewis Carroll is a favourite author and I'd like to go back to find out more about his connection with the town.

Such a pretty village with the stunning river running through it especially over the rapids. Trees hung with moss and ferns. All the buildings in keeping and when we were there brilliant Christmas lights. The town is lovely and quaint not quiet with people but not too busy either, all of the locals we spoke to were very polite and very interested in tourists We went in and around Llangollen as there is a lot of amazing sites that cant be completed in one day, weather can be a factor, but was luckily on our side. The wild pheasant spa was lovely after climbing the waterfall at Pistyll Rhaeadr, from there we booked the stay at Cambrian house which was such a welcoming b&b. We travelled a little further out to Trevor to eat which wasnt too far but we wanted to head towards a supermarket on route we ate at a homely pub/restaurant with harty food called the "The Sun Trevor".

I paid a short visit to Barmouth in December, which is out of season. I would like to return to undertake the Parkrun along the promenade at some time in the future. Also, there are motorcycle races held on the beach in October/November each year, which I am sure would be very entertaining. I would like also to tour Snowdonia National Park, which lies to the north of Barmouth.

We love Prestatyn as a holiday base.

We love Prestatyn as a holiday base. We love the mix of independent small shops and cafes. The cafes are ideal for lunch or a coffee etc. There are also takeaways and restaurants for dining out. There is a retail park with a good selection of large well known stores next to the traditional high street. The railway station is very close to the town and it makes it easy to travel to other towns and cities nearby and it has excellent links to Holyhead and many large towns and cities in England. There are many lovely places to visit either by car or public transport nearby. We particularly love Llandudno, Chester, Conwy, Anglesea etc. There are also lovely unspoilt beaches nearby too.
