Love the Castle and the Priors. The room no. 6 in the hotel did not have a fridge and we would have appreciated to have a fridge. If we plan to come back we would stay at the Castle or at the Priors. We found that the price for the hotel was too expensive compared to the one at the Castle. For the same, the room at the Castle was much better. But that said, we enjouée a lot our stay. Personnel was great.

The property was beautiful. We were arriving late so I rang ahead to find out if we could eat when we arrived and Blanca on reception was so so kind, sending us the menu via email and taking our order to make sure we could have food when we arrived. Blanca also when we arrived was so helpful with recommendations and helping us with our holiday. A wonderful member of staff.

A lovely, atmospheric seaside town packed full of great attractions with a spectacular pier. The Great Orme, ski lift, fabulous historic tram and many splendid views to the mountains as a backdrop. Excellent retail parks and and a very picturesque shopping main street , but perhaps the highlight is the wonderful picturesque sweep of the bay with its brightly coloured hotels and houses sweeping around the bay. Well served by bus and train and good road access to the beautiful surrounding countryside that is North Wales.

Such a pretty village with the stunning river running through it especially over the rapids. Trees hung with moss and ferns. We saw the outside stadium (had no time for a tour of that facility), bought some Wrexham football club souvenirs downtown at a bigger store than is in the stadium, and enjoyed a pint and lively conversation in The Turf pub. Met a fellow who took us downtown and did an impromptu tour of Wrexham! He was knowledgeable and good fun! Getting around is easy via walking.

The town is lovely and quaint not quiet with people but not too busy either, all of the locals we spoke to were very polite and very interested in tourists We went in and around Llangollen as there is a lot of amazing sites that cant be completed in one day, weather can be a factor, but was luckily on our side. The wild pheasant spa was lovely after climbing the waterfall at Pistyll Rhaeadr, from there we booked the stay at Cambrian house which was such a welcoming b&b. We travelled a little further out to Trevor to eat which wasnt too far but we wanted to head towards a supermarket on route we ate at a homely pub/restaurant with harty food called the "The Sun Trevor".

I paid a short visit to Barmouth in December, which is out of season. I would like to return to undertake the Parkrun along the promenade at some time in the future. Also, there are motorcycle races held on the beach in October/November each year, which I am sure would be very entertaining. I would like also to tour Snowdonia National Park, which lies to the north of Barmouth.

Menai Bridge is a lovely town, full of cafes, bars and a variety of places to eat and importantly, lots of independent local shops. The bridge, of course is the highlight, it is a really attractive feature - probably the most attractive bridge I have ever encountered. There are boat trips to Puffin Island which as you probably guessed hosts a colony of puffins between April and August, a wonderful sight!

The hotel wasn’t really suited to me with my disabilities.

The hotel wasn’t really suited to me with my disabilities. It would be better for younger and fitter people. It was a long walk to the accommodation section of the building having to walk past other amenities to get there. My request for a ground floor room wasn’t received by reception so I had problems walking to the room. Cleanliness was shoddy in places with stains on the carpet in the conservatory, and a cracked wash basin in the room. I’m sure younger fitter travellers would appreciate a stay here more than the older generation.
