The hotel was lovely, staff really friendly. The breakfast was delicious and to a high quality. The room itself was spacious, clean and well equipped for a family of 4. The beer garden out the back had a brilliant kids play area also. Location was perfect and a very short walk to the sea front.

We visited Lytham which was great with its shops and bars. We ate inside and had fish and chips at Whelans that was cooked fresh to order and was really hot. Lots of charity shops for my wife to visit whilst I had a pint in the Lytham hop house. We much preferred Lytham to St Anne’s

Its very sad how the town has continued to decline. Pubs shut, shops dominated by pop ups, charity stores etc. The council demolished the market many vears ago and there is no longer a heart to the town. Gateway to the Lakes and home to the massively expanded Lancaster University there doesnt seem to be much else to reccomend it on a wet October day.

The location is excellent and everywhere is very clean. The staff are very polite and courteous. We went on the woodland trail, which was very, very muddy. A concrete path should be laid throughout and not just in parts. The food was of good quality. We had a treatment in the spa, which was very relaxing. We enjoyed our stay, but felt it overall very expensive.
