The drive on the infamous scenic A82 was highly rewarding when we reached Isle of Glencoe and was greeted by Richard, truly the best reception experience we had in awhile after travelling in various cities. We travelled during Jan 23 and being from Asia, the mountains, lake, warm service and really comfortable rooms are the little things that made us really happy that we specifically chosen Isle of Glencoe as the highlight of our trip. The cosy,warm room was clean and tidy and the G&T complimentary in the room is really the best I had in UK. When in the restaurant, highly recommend the heartwarming cullen skink/chowder. Definitely coming back! P/s: If you have watched Skyfall, you'd definitely recognise the route when driving up. Enjoy the view!

Those mountains across the road pack a punch. The hotel is charming and full of character; much better than modern chain-hotel "luxury" clones. Loved the climbing-rope bedheads.

The staff were fantastic, from Stefanos' whisky recommendations and wonderful stories to Karen's warm welcomes whenever you saw her. We cross everthing we have and hope that Karen will one day have a gated house with an endless driveway.
