Having been to Paris several times, this hotel really exceeded my expectations in two specific areas - firstly the staff, every staff member was genuinely friendly, nice and helpful (a rarity in Paris!). Secondly the room was a comfortable size and really well appointed. Even though my room was right by the lift, it never disturbed me. The mattress and bedding were very comfortable and I slept very well each night (which is also rare for me). Breakfast was generally good, and I was expecting the usual continental breakfast, so I was pleasantly surprised with some hot items. Coffee at breakfast was really good. The location is fantastic with many shops and restaurants nearby. Links to metro/buses also nearby. Vincennes is one of my favourite areas in Paris. It may not be in the usual tourist areas but it is very well connected to Paris. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris.

The location is right next to the Gustave Roussy metro station, which gives you a strait route to the center of Paris (takes ~15-20 min). So I guess it's the best option to explore Paris, while living in a nice and not too expensive place.

I’ve been coming to Paris many times and had different hotels. This was one of my best visit. Enrico welcomed me and upgraded me to a large room that was set up like a studio apartment. It was so nice I only want to come here when I’m Paris. The breakfast was nice and it was calm. The rooms we clean and the kitchen stocked with utensils. Enrico was kind, patient and accommodating. He is not available for any communication when you arrive. He stole my 150 Euros while demanding a direct deposit of an exhorbitant 300 Euros for "security", refusing my credit card or cash, leaving me on the street. And he kept my 150 Euros.

My stay was extremely disappointing and absolutely not worth the money. There was no AC in the room, and the actual space looked nothing like the pictures online. Reception didn’t answer the phone after a certain time, which made things even more frustrating. To make matters worse, there’s a club right next to the hotel—so when I opened the windows for fresh air (since there was no AC), all I could hear was loud music. Overall, it was a terrible experience, and I will never stay here again.

This conveniently located hotel, easy to reach from any place in Paris, allowed me to have a very comfortable, quiet, clean room for a budget price. While other hotels were so expensive, with this this hotel Porte de Bercy I could afford to stay in Paris. The food for breakfast was varied, plentiful and delicious, in large and airy rooms. I recommend it to tourist so they can sleep well and do not burn a hole in their wallet

Villejuif is a somewhat unappealing parisian outskirt, however much better than the ones in the north of the city. It looks relatively safe in comparison to others and offers enough shopping possibilities for the daily needs such as supermarkets and fast-food restaurants. Downtown Paris is easy to reach with the underground line 7.

It was a good budget hotel, and was very close to the Orly airport, exactly what I needed for my morning flight. I didn't have to wake up too early to go to the airport and so I was well rested. The room has AC and it's clean, these were my two main preferences and Ibis budget stood out in it. Additionally the room also had proper blankets for the night. All in all this hotel is a solid 8. Just the bathroom and shower can be smaller than expected. But yeah, the check in and check out process are funnily very easy and convenient.

Creteil is very mixed and spread out area but the Ancient Village is nice and interesting There is a Sunday market outside in the streets and also an indoor food market, bars and cafes, very good supermarkets and bakeries; Nearby there is a road leading to a foot bridge over the river Marne on to the river island of St Catherine and a much more impressive bridge leading to the other side of the river. Overall the hotel is alright but make sure you take a few euros with you to pay property tax. Liked · The room was nice and had a good Air Conditioner since it was a new build room it look very modern and nice The bed was somewhat comfortable but not as comfortable as you think at home but you get what u pay for but for the price i payed for it was fine Disliked · The property did charge me property tax which i was not informed or even known about staff members just say its written in small print that i have to pay property tax as soon as i arrive for check in to my room which i did find absurd the room is a very small room the bathroom is bigger than the room itself which was really odd but then again you get what you pay for All i found was absurd that they demanded property tax which could have just been included on the online price instead of charging me there at the hotel

It was a surprise to how nice this place was.

It was a surprise to how nice this place was. A place near Paris that was clean and cosy with great restaurants and everything else you needed. Its a great alternative actually to the most expensive parts of Paris as it had shopping, dinning and paris was just 20 min away at most.
