Excellent location in the centre of town with lots of shops and restaurants within a minute or two. The owner is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. There is a pretty courtyard where you can have a nice continental breakfast. Rooms were spacious and extremely clean. Recommended!

Hotel easy to find. The receptionist was lovely friendly and welcoming. Offered us a map and then proceeded to circle landmarks which we would like to visit. She was very informative. Perfect location for visiting the Christmas markets. Will definitely be visiting again.

The room was very cute, and very clean. We could use the parking in the backyards for free, which was very handy considering the narrow streets. What stood out was the warm welcome of the staff! They went above and beyond to ensure we are all well set for the stay and have all information needed, and are well fed and have everything for a good time in Tours. An absolute recommendation for the hotel alone due to this level of hospitality!

I’ve stayed before and it’s perfect for me as a stopover driving from Cherbourg to Corrèze. Easy to find from the motorway. Friendly check in. Quiet rooms and good WiFi. Plenty to eat in the surrounding area plus a huge supermarket. I will definitely stay here again on my trips.

Our arrival into the environs of the city concerned us a little. Lots of High rises, graffitti, and a bit scruffy looking. However, Tours is hiding a little secret at its heart. It is has one of the most beautiful centres at, rich in both architecture and history. It's easy to walk around, but cycling or the tram seems to be the norm for the locals. Sadly we were only staying for one night this time - but it was a Saturday and the medieval streets were literally buzzing with bon viveurs, students, and locals. Definitely a city I would love to explore more.

This was an overnight stop on our way back to the ferry port near Caen, so more of a functional one than a sightseeing one, though we did head to the château at Villandry after leaving, which was only about 25 minutes' drive via the scenic route through Savonnières. There was a choice of decent restaurants in easy walking distance for dinner and breakfast was fine. The room was very hot when we arrived and the aircon not working but the lad on the desk explained that it can either be set to cool or to heat for the whole building and the weather suddenly changing from cool to hot had left the 'wrong' option enabled. We were able to cool it down by opening the door and window but that did admit quite a lot of traffic noise.

We only used it as a stopover on the way back to the ferry so it works well for us having done this several times before, just don't stay at the campanile use the B&B Hotel nearby! SuperU just off the autoroute is perfect for fuel and snacks and there's dining options close by.

We were just crossing the region and avoiding the motorways, but we enjoyed the spectacular views, the lovely villages, the greenery and the flowers. People living there obviously care for and about their surroundings. We saw also restaurants and buses with tourists, but we did not stop to interact.

A town with many restaurants with overflowing terraces to eat. So many things to see in Tours and do. We spent a week visiting magnificent castle after Chateaux. Tours is placed beautifully in the middle of this wealth of architecture.

We asked for a refund and were then shown to another room which is the one we have reviewed. Not happy that Booking.com are associated with this property.

This town is right outside Tours proper and even after asking at our hotel desk we could not find anything other than fast food to eat nearby. Tours, not Joue-les-Tours, is a much bigger city with more restaurants, but it is terribly congested with traffic and ugly, ugly modern cheap buildings. Parking is a nightmare there. I mention this because there isn't much in Joue-les-Tours itself, and since you have to get through the horrible Tours traffic to go much of anywhere, it's not the best base for touring the Loire Valley that I thought it would be.
