We found casually this jewel at the lake. It looks very quiet and comfortable with a wonderful view on the Geneva lake. The hotel Le Léman remains very close to Evian and mainly to Montreux, where you can discover the magic Christmas atmosphere during the market period (end of November and December). Well linked to everywhere with a free parking you can enjoy the kindness of the staff. I will return there for sure.

Wonderful hotel by the lake and in the old medieval Yvoire itself. Louis at the front had been most helpful in us settling into the hotel after a long drive from Provence. All facilities and room worked well. Had 2 meals in their busy restaurant and both times were excellent

The hotel felt very luxurious like a 5-star resort. We stayed in room 1320 in a suite with a large balcony overlooking the lake. Room was spacious, AC was strong, the pillows were comfortable. The indoor swimming pool is children-free from 12-4pm which I found reasonable, as it’s opened early until late at night which worked well for my family of 4. There’s plenty of activities offered in the hotel such as tennis, paddle board, gym, pool table, swimming, e-bikes, jacuzzi, hammam, sauna and kids club, all free of charge for hotel guests. I loved how even after we checked out of the hotel, we were still able to use the facilities that day which is a definite plus. The navette was reliable and would drop us off into town centre and pick us up from the casino free of charge. There is a horseback riding school located 2 mins drive away which was great for kids to do private lessons. Would definitely return!

We were surprised at how easy it was to get to by public transport. Very short and very pleasant walk from bus stop. Although we arrived very early we were able to check in and received a warm welcome to our lake view room. Literally a stone's throw away from the lake. Had a wonderful meal. In a wonderful restaurant with wonderful staff. Slept very well in a comfortable room and enjoyed the shower. Lots of room. The breakfast was amazing. Great atmosphere and very very relaxing.

The room was great! Spacious and very clean. Staff were brilliant, when we asked about where we could find somewhere to eat they kindly reserved a table in the restaurant nextdoor for us. The hotel buffet breakfast had a great selection and was well worth it.

Many stores appeared permanently closed, and the town lacked any real atmosphere after early evening—by 10pm, only the casino restaurant was still serving food. This left few options for late dining or entertainment. Given these circumstances and the general sense of a closed-up town, I would not recommend visiting Evian-les-Bains, especially if you're expecting a lively lakeside resort experience. While some guides and official tourism pages highlight Evian's attractive lakefront, Belle Époque architecture, and potential activities along the lake and nearby outdoors, recent firsthand accounts confirm a lack of vibrancy and operational businesses, even in traditionally busy months. For travelers who prioritize a bustling atmosphere and broad dining options long into the evening, it may be better to look elsewhere.

Nice lake front with port/marina. There's a steep climb up to the town from the water with a funicular railway (summer only?). Lots of places to eat plus takeaways and supermarket in easy walking distance of town centre.

We were happy to spend some time in Lugrin in your facilities. In general, we loved the area, the tranquility, and the peaceful environment. We enjoyed a very relaxing time. Few renovations on the property would not be a bad idea. The facilities are close to Evian-les-bains which is a great city to stroll around and find great restaurants to eat. Our favorite one: Restaurant Puerta del Sol (Latinamerican Food, great alcohol and mock cocktails)

The medieval town is amazing, but so are the prices. Restaurant choices outside the village is very very limited. What is annoying is the hours everything opened and closed. Breakfasts open late - lunch at a certain time for some and different times for other restaurants. It made us become a wizard in the village just searching for a restaurant with a time that suited us! The boat trips are amazing and to be tried! If you stay in a house in Yvoire (not in the village itself) you are liable for 5€ per head per day you sre there- payable to the owner. - The same price if you parked your car in the allocated parking spaces for the village visiting day tourists.

It is a small city not much to do however, at night there is sometimes some animation like music. You can also cross the lake to go to Lausanne in Switzerland. You can organize a trip to Montreux where there is the jazz festival in July, I think. Evian les Bains downtown is very pretty. There is two bookstores and a couple of clothes stores. And a lot more of souvenir stores. But I think just the calm and the beauty of the lLeman lake will suffice to spend some good vacation with serenity.

The unit is in a quiet nice neighborhood and a short walk to the main city commercial area. The main commercial area was fine but not really a tourist attraction. The castle self-tour was great. Walking the lakeside was nice. There is a good variety of restaurants. We took a couple of day drives to sights like the village of Abondance and the Cirque-du-Cheval and to Annecy (which was VERY busy and touristy, unlike Thonon.

Beautiful little village. Very old but well appointed . Great for photos. very quiet before 10 AM (before the boats arrive). In general quite expensive to buy anything. Its verty good for a day trip from a neighbouring town but one doesn't ned a long stay to see the whole town as its tiny.

Beautiful small town, excellent cafès and small restaurants, especially down the harbour in the summer, nice place for shopping and relaxing. I also always get natural mineral water from the mineral water spring. The Christmas Market I saw yesterday - it's so cute and absolutely amazing! There are regular ships to/from Lausanne-Ouchy (Switzerland) which adds up to the nice experience. I visit few times per year to relax & do some shopping and absolutely enjoy every single visit 👍
