The hotel is located a bit in the mountains, but easily accessible by car (or a bike, if you’re strong enough). Our room was very clean with an exceptional view on the valley. Food is very good and home made with rather impressive portions (we couldn’t finish even though we have a good appetite). Hosts are very nice too!

Location was ideal, nice views from rooms, the room (15) was very big and the evening meal with the set menu was fantastic.

If you’re travelling the Route Napoleon by car from Grasse to Lyon like we were, this hotel makes a perfect half way stop. Not really near anything but next to a Brewpub that fortunately for us, being a Friday, had a great atmosphere and a live band. Room was entirely as expected with nothing whatsoever to complain about. Did not have the time to use the spa facilities and didn’t use the property for either dinner and breakfast as we prefer to go and explore the surroundings.

Hotel Le Lac is located in a peaceful setting, just outside the city centre of Embrun. It is close to a lake that has a beach and recreational area.

Very good location. There's parking behind the building and very good restaurant across the street. Basic amneties but clean. Very good value for the money. Will definitely stay here again. Staff is friendly.
