I loved the way Helene and her father made us feel very welcome the minute we set foot inside. I also liked how Helene instantly suggested excellent restaurants and made us the reservations hassle free. I also liked the time they took to chat to us and to get to know us better during our whole stay! No expense has been spared in this charming hotel, one can see this from the attention to detail that has been paid in the decor and the general layout of the building. They also have a great snacking menu which goes down excellently on the terrace with a glass of wine or two. The location is also amazing - right infront of the hotel there is a large vineyard - therefore the minute you arrive right after entering the gates, you are instantly transported into the Burgundian way of life - not much more is necessary! It is also strategically placed between Beaune, Mersault and other interesting wine villages/towns in Burgundy. The breakfast is also good and includes continental and cooked - we loved it - especially if afterwards you are doing wine tasting - it is good not to go on an empty stomach :-).

The food was beyond amazing – Anne treated us to an unforgettable breakfast. I’ve never had pineapple carpaccio before, and it was absolutely delicious! Everything was prepared with such care and delivered with top-notch attention to detail. Anne’s hospitality and the quality of the food truly made our stay special. Highly recommended!

The house was spacious and very comfortable to accommodate 5 couples.
The location and view of the vineyards was spectacular. Pommard is a lovely village located close to Beaune and surrounding villages.

Beautiful chateau! Hellen hosted us so nicely. We did a wine tasting, and it was a great experience. Good breakfast. Very comfortable bad. Unfortunately, we stayed only one night, with more good planning we would stay at least 2 nights.

We stayed here for one night on our way back to the UK.
We stayed here for one night on our way back to the UK. We normally stay in Beaune as we love it there but wanted to have dinner at Le Soleil which is within walking distance from Villa Femina, where we spent the night. I can highly recommend both. We have eaten at Le Soleil three times now and the food and experience is always excellent. Savigny-lès-Beaune is a very cute place and quieter than Beaune.

Mersault was a cosy and charming little village in the heart of Bourgogne wine area. You can taste wines in numerous wine shops and domaines. We had dinner in an excellent restaurant Au Fil du Clos. We overnighted in a very charming privet-owned hotel/B&B Charles V.

This is superb wine country.The village is delightful,very quiet,not much to visit but then you should be here for the wine.
The hotel was our little bit of luxury towards the end of a two week trip and it surpassed our expectations.
The restaurant is a gem in its own right and the wine tasting facilities very enjoyable.

Charming town just outside of Beaune in Burgundy. Situated in the rolling vineyards of Pinot Noir & Chardonnay, Pommard offers easy access to exploring this world-renowned wine region. Bike hire is available locally and a surprisingly good restaurant in the village means you don't have to travel far if you don't want to! A visit to the Armand Heitz cellar door with guided tour is an absolute must and a real gem.

A lovely, homely B&B .. very French and so much character. I loved the garden and the little touches added by Michelle.. like fresh flowers at breakfast. Really appreciate Michelle’s help in booking a wonderful dinner for us at a nearby Vineyard and the scrumptious breakfast provided every morning. Thank you Michelle. I would recommend this accommodation as it’s quiet but close enough to drive to Beaune and other vineyards. Just perfect.

Lovely walkable town 5 minutes from Beaune. It is quiet at night, perfect for relaxing after a day touring the Burgundy area. Good central location to discover Burgundy. Parking can be a bit tricky but that is just France.

A very special Village in the heart of Burgundy and centre...
A very special Village in the heart of Burgundy and centre for Mersault Burgundies. The local area very easy to walk around and the Centre Ville is truly that. There are also some great providers including a butcher just down the road from the centre that has an amazing area of standard butcher lines together with pre-prepared food such as salmon in aspic. Just delightful and the local bar serves quality Mersault by the glass whilst you sit in the town square and simply enjoy the ambience.
