United KingdomA sweet little apartment/cottage on 2 floors with a warm country feel about it. Well equipped kitchen- maybe an extra cup would be nice as we both enjoy a large cup of tea. We found it via google maps so no problem. It’s rustic, peaceful and rural. Very relaxing. Bring your own food as there are no shops or restaurants. They had condiments and oil and plenty of things to cook with. We enjoyed our stay.

Very warm welcome from Eric and Sonia, great large mobile home in a private location, very clean and well equipped. The campsite has a small pool which we made good use of when we were not out and about. The campsite offers pizzas and a bar. The location is very good, a few minutes walk into the village with tourist information, boulangerie, restaurant, excellent small Proxi supermarket, churches on the hill with amazing views. Nice walks to do nearby. Explore Aventure company on site - we did canyoning which was great fun! It’s a drive of around 45 mins to 1 hour to the Gorges du Verdon proper and also to the Lac de Castillon but we found all journeys take this time regardless of where you are located in the Verdon due to the windy mountain roads!

The Chef produced the most Amazing stunning dishes and we liked how you do not know what your getting its a surprise Menu!!
The tastes and Quality of the food were 10/10
A huge thing for me was how they ask about Allergies / Intolerances this is so Important
The Whole Family made us very welcome and so Friendly
A lovely few days in a Beautiful Spot

It's a castle! As my American wife said over and over!
It's a castle! As my American wife said over and over! It's a stunning location and quite unique. The evening food and service was amazing and the lovely breakfast overlooking the surroundings on the terrace was unforgettable. All the staff were attentive & hospitable and I would definitely come back here.
Only issue was the spotty Wifi but for one night, we took a break and enjoyed this unique place.

I selected this place as I was travelling by bicycle and it fitted in with the distances I wanted to do. My bicycle was locked in a secure garage and looking around it fitted in with other cyclists and motorbike riders, and of course other travellers

This castle hotel is what dreams are made of!
This castle hotel is what dreams are made of! Come here to live like, and be treated like royalty. It is peaceful, elegant, historic... the perfect getaway. We had an indulgently delicious breakfast and complex gourmet dinner each day at the castle, then drove through the countryside, exploring medieval towns and tiny villages. Castellane was our favorite. The drive itself is breathtaking! Europe's only grand canyon, the Gorges du Verdon, is a sight to behold, and you drive right through it!
