I only stayed one night, but the room was very spacious and extremely clean. The mattress was excellent and very comfortable. The pillow, however, was not great, so if you are sensitive to pillows, I recommend bringing your own. Having an electric car, I also really appreciated the Tesla charger right next to the hotel — this was a great surprise.

Cannot rate this small, reasonably priced boutique style hotel highly enough. Everything was wonderful. Perfect location - cheap 18e taxi ride from airport, central location, wonderful staff, beautifully clean, comfortable rooms, great bathroom, good beds. Ticked all boxes. Highly recommended if you don't need pools, spas, etc. Staff were so friendly and very helpful.

We stayed at this lovely new hotel as a family and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Although we didn’t have breakfast, it looked beautifully presented and very inviting. The location in this charming small town is peaceful and picturesque—perfect for a relaxing stay. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully designed. As a newly opened hotel, everything is modern and in excellent condition. We truly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t change a thing. Highly recommended!

Where do I start! The house and its grounds are just beautiful and every inch has been thoughtfully decorated with the addition of carefully curated artwork, ornaments and lighting. Arrival was very smooth and we were shown around the villa and then to our room. We stayed in Le Vue which is right at the top of the house and so benefits from having 4 walls of magnificent windows. The room was light and airy and from the bed you could look out on to the bay and see the ebb and flow of the tide (I highly recommend spend the night with all the blinds up and the doors open to witness the sunrise and to listen to the waves and the hypnotising frog chorus) The hotel has an amazingly well equip kitchen that guests are welcome to use to cook their own food (or a chef can be provided on request) There is also an honesty policy so you can help your self to drinks and just tally what you have had. There is a comfy lounge area and my favourite a dark and cosy library with laddered shelf’s. The garden has a natural pool, sauna and sunbathing areas and a sweet little gate leads straight out on to the beach. I highly recommend heading to the beach and walking left to the old port where you will happen across the cutest fishing shack style restaurant which serves up amazing food. The lads there were super friendly and spoke great English. Nothing is too much trouble for Karin and her team and they really do encourage you to treat villa Tosca as a home from home. We will definitely be heading back.

Great accommodation with everything you could need and a big comfortable bed with lovely linens . Big shout out to the housekeeping staff . How they manage to keep everything so immaculate with sand and grit all around the facility is a triumph . They deserve a medal ! Fabulous restaurant with great food and wine choices and caring attentive staff . They were all so kind and generous to us . Made our anniversary a very special and memorable night ! Perfectly situated with supermarket , boulangerie , restaurants all within walking distance and lovely cycle tracks and walks on the door step . We took the dog to Truc Verte which was beautiful . We didn’t use the spa but it looked beautiful We can’t recommend this wonderful place highly enough.

Bordeaux is a perfect place to experience a classic French city on foot (it very much favours the pedestrian with its wide walkways and carefully structured tram system). Situated on the banks of a beautiful river, it has so much to offer - art and culture, entertainment venues, daily markets offering fresh food and other produce, and an array of shopping areas ranging from high end brands, to more familiar 'high street' names and a wealth of individual and specialist shops. And of course, don't forget the many, many restaurants and other outlets from which to indulge in every type of food and drink from France and many other countries - with prices to suit every purse. It has a modern, efficient and very affordable tram system, linking the centre to the airport and train station, as well as further afield. Plus there's good bus transport and car parking. In spite of its popularity, it is a very clean city taking pride in its appearance. It feels safe and friendly. Overall, Bordeaux is just beautiful to look at, with fabulous buildings and relaxed cafe (and wine) culture at every turn. Come and indulge - but be prepared to rack up those steps as there is so much to do!!

The cleanliness of the streets, the lively spirit of the residents, architecture from French colonial days were some of the unforgettable aspects. In off season, some restaurants are not open or on hiatus, but there were enough good quality establishments. Walking tours are easy, if you are ready for stairs and inclines here and there.

A beautiful little town with a gorgeous old town, lovely river. amazing covered market and cathedral. Lots of lovely restaurants and shops, beautiful squares to sit and drink coffee/wine in, and plenty going on. Can't recommend highly enough for a couple of days, and so easy to get in and out of the airport. Wish we'd had longer!

Pau is totally enchanting.

Pau is totally enchanting. The boulevard de Pyrenees with it’s wonderful views is spectacular. The covered market is exceptional. The Castle/Chateau area is beautiful. There is so much to see and do. There are lots of lovely restaurants, cafes and bars.

Sarlat is a wonderful place. Everyone we met were friendly. The restaurants were excellent. My only complaint are the dogs! The French are lousy dog owners. The dogs are allowed to relieve themselves anywhere, and, the owners make no effort to clean it up. Walking down the main shopping street in the old town can be an adventure.

Saint-Jean-de-Luz is a very pleasant little town on the South-west coast of France. Its beach is nicely sheltered from the wild Bay of Biscay, making it safe and attractive. We stayed in a central hotel with easy access to some lovely bars and restaurants serving delicious local cuisine. It's an easy drive into the countryside; we climbed a mountain called Larrun, part of the Pyrenees, then easily back to St Jean de Luz for a swim and out for dinner! Also some good local shops.

Not much. Its listed as 4 star.

Not much. Its listed as 4 star. The property needs a complete renovation. Plus, with today's technology and the WiFi is non existant. On my first night I was not given WiFi. They were correct. Its less than 1 bar and you cannot stream. I would not stay again

The location of this B&B hotel was very convenient for our overnight stop. The room was in excellent condition, everything in the room was in working order and the beds were comfortable. Only one pillow per bed. Breakfast was very good. The only downside was that both the Coffee & Vending machines were not working.

For me, my opinion usually starts from the first greeting and at this hotel, the service was immediately friendly and personal. The local area is lovely to explore and the hotel is well located for this, and in a quiet part of the town near to the seafront.
