Cute cottage, spacious, well equipped, very comfortable beds, quiet. Views of the ocean. Vinna and Robert were wonderful hosts, warm hospitality, so helpful. Vinna has an organic fruit and veg stall at front of property, and makes fabulous smoothies, and offers delicious home cooked Fijian dishes. Robert gave us a lifts around, and took us to the waterfalls (wonderful) and he offers boat trips too.

We loved our stay with Sarah and Sam, their home cooking was the best food we had in Fiji - it was a feast every night. This is not a luxury resort by any means and nor should it be, but it was perfectly clean and very comfortable and has a beautiful snorkelling spot nearby. Sam also took us to do the amazing Lavena coastal walk. Taveuni is a beautiful island and we had a wonderful stay at Aeroview.

Oceanfront location with proximity to other services if needed (grocery store, airport, other resort restaurants). Small number of guest cottages/guests on site. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We appreciated all of the information provided before we arrived to insure a comfortable and pleasant experience. Excellent snorkeling within a short boat ride from the property.

The view, food, and staff hospitality were all amazing. The nights were exceptionally quiet, and snorkeling directly from the local beach allowed us to explore the ocean’s wildlife. Trips to the jungle with waterfalls were spectacular. Food is exceptional as well!

Location was beautiful with bures directly above the sandy beach. Great swimming and snorkeling directly in front of resort and surf break only 2km out in front. Manager & staff were amazing - super friendly, great service and really helpful. The food was very good and meals with Spanish Mackerel were exceptional. Private, peaceful and relaxing with plenty to do. The full day around island snorkeling tour with picnic and smoked fish on the beach was a highlight. Incredible coral and fish on the 5 snorkeling sites we were taken to.

The Host family was very welcoming and made us feel that we are part of their family as well. Eparama and his son took us to all the tourist attractions and chauffeured my family all around the island. Mili and Aunty made the best breakfast from the presentation, homegrown fruits and freshly made pancakes... it fueled us up for the whole day. Uncle told us many stories of the olden times and the traditions of the island. Our time with the family will be cherish for many years to come.

Aroha was a stunning setting. Thanks for having us! The bedrooms were lovely and clean. The food from the restaurant was delicious. Our hosts and the staff were really friendly and attentive. One of the best places we’ve stayed on our trip!

Jaydee’s is a true Fijian homestay experience – you’re staying with a local family in their home - the facilities are simple but clean, comfortable, and have everything you need. What makes it truly special is the family, who go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. The warmth and hospitality of the family was the highlight. Everyone is so kind and welcoming, especially the grandmother, who radiates love and generosity. Staying here feels like being part of the family, and it’s a privilege to share in their home and culture. Breakfast was tasty, served with warmth and generosity – the perfect start to the day. And we had the yummiest dinner, made with love and care by the grandmother of the house. It was our favourite dinner of our trip! The location is great for exploring Taveuni. It’s peaceful and feels authentically local, while still being convenient for getting around the island. Just remember, you're at the top of the Island so if you're looking to get around lots, consider hiring a car. We used the local bus service and it was great, but it's not the most regular of service. (enjoy Fiji time!!) Mostly, we had a blast getting around walking which built up an appetite :) Reach out and ask the family when you book if you need help getting around, they're more than happy to help sort out local transportation. Honestly, the only thing we wish is that we had found Jaydee’s earlier and stayed longer! It was the most wonderful stay and the most amazing memories. We can not recommend it enough!!
