We had a wonderful 3 nights half board stay at the winter resort. The staff were very warm and exceptional. This is the perfect place for family with young children to early teens, with many activities to keep the kids occupied. The saunas were exceptional! Accomodation just opened this winter, so everything is in tip top condition. Room size is comfortable for a family of 4 and equipped with good amenities and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Would not hesitate to recommend this resort to folks heading to Rovaineimi.

We had a wonderful stay at Original Sokos Vaakuna Rovaniemi. Everything was perfect — the breakfast, the room, and the location. The hotel was warm, comfortable, and spotless. They also paid special attention to our 5-year-old daughter and even left children’s juices for her, which we truly appreciated. Highly recommended!

It was a good location for rovaniemi city and right next to a grocer! Very comfortable and it had everything that we needed! The owner texted us immediately whenever we had a question, the place was found super clean and we did not want to leave would 100% go back to the same apartment if i go visit rovaniemi again !

Beautiful setting in the middle of nature. Food was excellent in the restaurant. Accommodations were high quality and lovely. Service was excellent- we had noted that we were celebrating our 25 year wedding anniversary and there was a chilled champagne bottle waiting for us which was perfect for the occasion.

This hotel locates in the city center, it is easy to get access to different sightseeing by walk. Near the hotel, there are supermarkets, restaurants, etc. It is a hotel with excellent location. When I requested a bed for my 6 years old daughter, it is for free.

The location was phenomenal. A beautiful and peaceful home base where our children could play outside in the snow. We then had access to local hiking trails and were able to walk into town to go on adventures further abroad.

The town has everything you need; restaurants, shops, supermarkets etc The one thing we wished for was if they could lean A BIT more into Christmas; Given its the official home of Santa, a tad more decoration or Christmas events aroudn town can really help the magic

It's so lovely I wouldn't bother to go see santa that's the only thing I regret he called my boy a girl and she wondered how he didn't recognise her as the santa experiences in ireland ask for the names and a bit about the child 1st so this nearly made her think santa wasn't real I wouldn't see santa in lapland as stupid as that sounds they need to do a bit more! Everything else was magic even as ypu step outside the airport and are greeted with frozen waterfalls and piles of snow its stunning

I loved Rovaniemi.

I loved Rovaniemi. The scenery was beautiful, the people are super friendly. I would definitely recommend anyone to go there. Especially in winter when the place looks like a winter wonderland. It is expensive, but I suppose it depends what you go there for. Safaris are very expensive but if you're aware of this, you can budget.
