We enjoyed our stay very much. We chose a place to stay further away from the city center, looking for a remote and quiet place away from the tourist crowds, but with the convenience of good service and a restaurant. The host is an awesome guy who cares a lot about his customers, and his little dog, Onni, is a real sweetheart. The place is like old time Lapland accomodation. The atmosphere is very calming, silent and homelike. Food is exceptional here and local products are used to prepare them. We got to also witness the Auroras with a small surprize from our host. Really nice hotel just on the other side of the border. Nice personnel. I could check out and Store my luggage throughout the day before taking the night train to Helsinki in the late evening from Tornio-Itäinen.

I really enjoyed this hotel. The atmosphere was great, and the wonderful, warm staff gave us a very welcoming reception. Communication was easy, even though I arrived very tired. Breakfast was very good, and the view from the rooftop terrace was simply amazing.
