Located in the small town of Isaba, in the Roncal Valley, Hostal Lola is ideal for exploring the Navarese Pyrenees. All of the cosy and colourful rooms have mountain views.

We only stayed for one night at Hostal Lola, but this was our best accommodation of a two week trip to Northern Spain. The building has a lovely old facade, but the interior is thoroughly modern and very tastefully decorated. The staff were all super friendly, and the breakfast was very good. Our room was more than large enough, with doors to the balcony, and we had terrific views. The bathroom was modern, and everything worked well. The general standard of Hostal Lola is so high that we asked the owner why it is not classified as a hotel. We were surprised to learn that this is only due to outdated Spanish regulations, which state you need a landline phone connection to be a hotel. Let's hope that the regulations catch up with the 21st Century!
Isaba is a small village in the middle of the mountains, so it is an excellent place for some walking (you can find an old Roman bridge if you venture out) and relaxing. If you come by car or motorbike, there is free public parking just around the corner - it's a two minute walk. Cyclists are also very welcome. I strongly recommend this Hostal.

We were so well looked after here! Our hosts were delightful and provided a spectacular dinner and had the time to share their time and stories with us. Huge respect for how they are bringing more life into this village too. A serene and peaceful environment.

Lovely atmosphere, lovely local cat that hung out at the hotel. The restaurant view was spectacular and the food was absolutely superb. Room had a drying rack which was very useful for drying my clothes after my hike. The staff were very welcoming and helpful even with the language barrier.

Fantastic location, amazing walks from the property. House was warm and comfortable. Very rustic and furnished in keeping with the area.
Very quiet place to stay and great to be able to park outside.
Breakfast was good. The best cheesecake I’ve ever had. Good coffee machine and home made jam.
Bar in the village by the petrol station was great for evening drinks and ice cream. They have a lovely garden.

I felt like the owners couldn’t do enough for me. I arrived in the middle of a busy lunch service but I was checked in and supplied with the cold drink I so desperately needed.
Great room, excellent sleep for the two nights that I stayed. Nice food. Perfect for my rest day on the GR11.
Thank you.
