_ the cleanest hotel that I've ever seen. Thanks to all the people involved _ big apartment _ the staff was so nice and always available _ good position close to the marina and playa dorada _ in my opinion this is the place for value for money in Lanzarote.

We were received by Jose Antonio in the most hospitable manner. We travel quite often and have experienced countless hotels and receptions, but this one was quite special and stood out. We engaged in a casual conversation about Lanzarote and various sights and attractions that should be experienced during our trip. Jose Antonio was kind enough to give us helpful and detailed recommendations so we could see as much as possible in our short trip. The hotel is about 200 years old and extremely authentic, and at the same time all the technology, lighting and hot water worked perfectly. The pressure in the shower was also top notch. Our room smelled lovely and was spotlessly clean. The beds were also comfortable with thoroughly washed sheets. The breakfast was a whole experience in itself. We were received by a sweet and friendly waitress who took our order, as in a fine restaurant, after which the food arrived incredibly quickly. It is the best breakfast we have ever had at a hotel, with the nicest treatment and service. I really can't find anything negative to say about this stay. If we had known how wonderful our stay would be here, we would have definitely booked more nights.

Spotless Hotel. The staff are lovely and always have a smile and say hello. Natalia and joel- amazing with the guests. We were half board, and the quality of food was excellent. Always a lovely choice for breakfast and dinner. I can't fault the food or drinks. The welcome, checkin, location, room, amenities , facilities, staff, food, pool, entertainment. All excellent. I wanted a five star hotel for a peaceful holiday. Lava beach delivered. Bravo to you guys. I will see you next year.

It's a beautiful property with super friendly staff and great vibe. Very authentic Finca built with a lot of care about the details and the environment. The Island Out of This Planet

Volcanic Lanzarote, one of the Spanish Canary Islands, features the dramatic landscapes of the Timanfaya National Park and the lush beaches of Papagayo and Blanco. Its out-of-this-world appearance, due to volcanic eruptions of the 18th and 19th centuries, earns Lanzarote a well-deserved spot in the sci-fi film sets list.

Really spacious and well laid out complex. Great choice of food at the buffet restaurants, we tried the main restaurant, the Italian and the Asian (the last one is booked online). Really liked how well run the poolside buffet snack bar was if you just wanted a light bite rather than the main buffet lunch option and great for an early morning coffee! Easy walk to the local marina which is gorgeous for a morning out and a convenient location for a trip to Timanfaya National Park. Will definitely be back!

Very close to airport. Hotel is right on the beach. Really beautiful views and location to shops , bars, and restaurants. Light airy rooms , spacious and clean. Staff were really helpful and smiley and welcoming. Comfortable bed. Best spa/ jacuzzi .. so many different pressure points / targets areas you can choose from. Wish I had more time to spend there. It’s just perfect on my last day before an evening flight. Staff so lovely, warm and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great time at THB Tropical Island. The hotel is perfect for families – there are several pools to choose from, and plenty of activities for kids. Our room was spacious and clean, and the whole resort was well-maintained. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was varied, tasty, and there was something for everyone. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would recommend this hotel to families looking for a fun and relaxing holiday.

Excellent and very efficient team, everything was on time, and they organized all the activities we wanted (surfing, padel, bikes). Kamezi Restaurant and bar are awesome too. Breakfast was served in the villa every day. Spa was nice.

Although a capital city, it's very walkable. The lagoon (Charco de San Gines) is a lovely spot for restaurants, cafes etc., and people watching. The beach at El Retiro was closed for bathing on our visit. Apparently sun beds and umbrellas are due to make a return in early 2026. There is a variety of shops in the centre (and a big shopping mall about 15 minutes' walk away, not far from the bus station). There's not a huge amount to do - a couple of small museums, but otherwise some nice walks along the coastal promenade, and plenty of eating and drinking. It's low-rise, and wasn't too busy in early December. The Nao Cerveza brewery tap is worth a visit for craft beer lovers.

Tías is a quaint little village with everything you need. The supermarket Dino is well stocked, there is a greengrocers, several small bars tapas restaurant and takeaways. And fantastic coffee shop/bakery. The only not very nice restaurant was L'ermita. They need some lessons in manners and customer service however next door the small Spanish tapas bar of Arrayate un Millo makes up for it, even though they don't speak any English the service and food was excellent.

Playa Honda is great, we have been a few times now and is our favourite place in Lanzarote. Close to the airport, non touristy, nice people, good shops and restaurants and is safe and welcoming. Can easily get to other places for nights out and has a brilliant cycling promenade.

It’s a very quiet town.

It’s a very quiet town. None of the glitz of the more famous places which suited us very well. The beach is epic. There’s a volcano pretty near in the national park. We are at two of the restaurants. Very good fish platters and burgers available. We hired a car for exploring the island. Famara is so small you can easily walk round it. Surfing and boogie boarding available.

Where we stayed in Yaiza was very quiet. A great location for a large group like ours but a must is to have a hire car to enable you to travel freely in and out of more lively areas around the island.

I was there in early March, and it did feel a bit off-...

I was there in early March, and it did feel a bit off-seasony and quiet. Some of the cafes I had wanted to try were closed until the end of March. Still, a small handful of good restaurants, and easy access by road to the other parts of the island, so it was a good base to explore from. I recommend Ikarus for fresh fish, Boutique del pan-San Rafael for coffee, and the Creperia for cheap/cheerful tapas and drinks outside with music. I found the locals all very friendly.

Puerto Calero is has a small marina, and is not too busy, it is great to walk along the cliff top paths, one to Puerto del Carmen, and in the opposite direction to Playa Quemada, both walks taking around an hour.
