Loved everything about this place! From the moment you arrive it’s clear you’re going to have a fantastic stay - impressive building (modern, clean, beautiful decor), the attentive staff (friendly, and nothing is too much to trouble - shout out to Gloria and Jesus!) , the rooms are of an exceptionally high standard with really lovely views of the pools/hotel complex (our room was immaculate, big, beautifully decorated and a balcony with your own sun-loungers!) and the food is fabulous (Nata is a wonderful woman, a warm, friendly host who gave us a wonderful welcome on our first evening in the restaurant). If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Costa Teguise - I cannot recommend this hotel enough, stunning! You won’t be disappointed 😊

It's a beautiful property with super friendly staff and great vibe. Very authentic Finca built with a lot of care about the details and the environment. The Island Out of This Planet

Volcanic Lanzarote, one of the Spanish Canary Islands, features the dramatic landscapes of the Timanfaya National Park and the lush beaches of Papagayo and Blanco. Its out-of-this-world appearance, due to volcanic eruptions of the 18th and 19th centuries, earns Lanzarote a well-deserved spot in the sci-fi film sets list.

The island has the longest volcanic submerged tunnel in the world (1,500 metres), the Tunnel de la Atlantida, which boasts the amazing Cueva de los Verdes lava tube with walls illuminated by coloured lights.

Really spacious and well laid out complex. Great choice of food at the buffet restaurants, we tried the main restaurant, the Italian and the Asian (the last one is booked online). Really liked how well run the poolside buffet snack bar was if you just wanted a light bite rather than the main buffet lunch option and great for an early morning coffee! Easy walk to the local marina which is gorgeous for a morning out and a convenient location for a trip to Timanfaya National Park. Will definitely be back!

Staff were really helpful and smiley and welcoming. Comfortable bed. Best spa/ jacuzzi .. so many different pressure points / targets areas you can choose from. Wish I had more time to spend there. It’s just perfect on my last day before an evening flight. Staff so lovely, warm and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Lots of restaurants and shops. Wide boulevard for walking along the coast. Beaches are small but sandy. Not gritty like some beaches. Plenty of supermarkets. I hear there’s a good hospital and treatment good and quick.

The resort square was lovely and had many choices of restaurants. Everywhere was clean and felt very safe. Food was reasonably priced and beach and main promenade very pleasant to walk around. I would definitely recommend this resort- try Divina Italia for great Italian or La Hacienda for fun Mexican food

Although a capital city, it's very walkable.

Although a capital city, it's very walkable. The lagoon (Charco de San Gines) is a lovely spot for restaurants, cafes etc., and people watching. The beach at El Retiro was closed for bathing on our visit. Apparently sun beds and umbrellas are due to make a return in early 2026. There is a variety of shops in the centre (and a big shopping mall about 15 minutes' walk away, not far from the bus station). There's not a huge amount to do - a couple of small museums, but otherwise some nice walks along the coastal promenade, and plenty of eating and drinking. It's low-rise, and wasn't too busy in early December. The Nao Cerveza brewery tap is worth a visit for craft beer lovers.

Tías is a quaint little village with everything you need. The supermarket Dino is well stocked, there is a greengrocers, several small bars tapas restaurant and takeaways. And fantastic coffee shop/bakery. The only not very nice restaurant was L'ermita. They need some lessons in manners and customer service however next door the small Spanish tapas bar of Arrayate un Millo makes up for it, even though they don't speak any English the service and food was excellent.

Playa Honda is great, we have been a few times now and is our favourite place in Lanzarote. Close to the airport, non touristy, nice people, good shops and restaurants and is safe and welcoming. Can easily get to other places for nights out and has a brilliant cycling promenade.

It’s a very quiet town.

It’s a very quiet town. None of the glitz of the more famous places which suited us very well. The beach is epic. There’s a volcano pretty near in the national park. We are at two of the restaurants. Very good fish platters and burgers available. We hired a car for exploring the island. Famara is so small you can easily walk round it. Surfing and boogie boarding available.

I was there in early March, and it did feel a bit off-seasony and quiet. Some of the cafes I had wanted to try were closed until the end of March. Still, a small handful of good restaurants, and easy access by road to the other parts of the island, so it was a good base to explore from. I recommend Ikarus for fresh fish, Boutique del pan-San Rafael for coffee, and the Creperia for cheap/cheerful tapas and drinks outside with music. I found the locals all very friendly.

Puerto Calero is a lovely small port with great bars and...

Puerto Calero is a lovely small port with great bars and eateries, it is a little quieter and dare I say, a bit more ‘up market’ than most of the other resorts in Lanzarote but this is what we like the most about it. It is well positioned for exploring the rest of the island with a good local road network so driving is very easy, I would 100% recommend trying this area for a holiday.
