Everything :) The hotel is beautiful with unique atmosphere. Each room carefully designed with vintage furniture. You can go around the many rooms as you please during the day and enjoy the unique atmosphere. The hotel has great and the nicest staff and owner, that will make you feel very well cared for and will help you with everything you need. They will advice you also on the places that you should visit on Lanzarote. We enjoyed the amazing breakfast that will fill you up for at least half a day. The hotel is situated in Haría, which I consider as the most beautiful town on the Island. The place is peaceful and a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Definitely recomend to everyone.

perfect location, very friendly, such a relaxing time. We barely wanted to leave the hotel, which is not like us at all. Also great to go for a run at the beach in the morning! And there is a great small diving shop and a free diving school in walking distance.

The Island Out of This Planet

Volcanic Lanzarote, one of the Spanish Canary Islands, features the dramatic landscapes of the Timanfaya National Park and the lush beaches of Papagayo and Blanco. Its out-of-this-world appearance, due to volcanic eruptions of the 18th and 19th centuries, earns Lanzarote a well-deserved spot in the sci-fi film sets list.

This was such a beautiful hotel and the staff were truly amazing! From the minute we got there (after a very very stressful delayed and awful flight) they made us feel so relaxed and we were given the most beautiful room. The view was absolutely stunning. We then went to the sunset bar that had incredible cocktails, great quality and strong! The staff were truly excellent and did their job very well. The breakfast was lovely and the seating area was really nice and comfortable. We actually didn’t want to leave the hotel as we loved it there so much. Even the morning we checked out they invited us to go and have our breakfast even though it was not open just yet. These small details and attention to detail and always having the guests in mind made it very special. We will come back very soon, hopefully 🙏

Everything was beyond expectations! The hotel is huge, we’ll maintained, very comfortable not to mention beautiful. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was large, very comfortable and impeccably clean. There are many pools so none is full and you can enjoy it. Breakfast was delicious with a lot of options. All good was fresh and tasty. The restaurants inside of the hotel were very good as well, especially Kampai. We had a great experience there.

We like the area and have got to know it over the years. Lots of restaurants of all types, you get to know the best ones . Great for walking, along the front to Playa de los Pocillos and even to airport runway, or go the other way walking to Puerto Calero along the cliff walk and then catch the waterbus back

A resort split into two by a 20 minute walk. Both sides had an excellent variety of shops and restaurants - good value for money especially the 'Cafe Berruga' Bar/Restaurant. Our favourite place was 'Secretos del Mar' - food here was exceptional. Also, the Chinese, next to 'Secretos' is well worth a meal. The sea never receded more than a 100 metres from the beach. Ferries close at hand to take you to the other islands.

Arrecife is a great place to stay if you want to visit other parts of Lanzarote, particularly if you are using public transport. You can access all of the Cesar Manrique sites which we would highly recommend. In Arrecife there are plenty of places to eat and bars to have a cocktail or two.

The beaches are great, safe swimming in the sea. Good choice of restaurants and good prices. Too many brit bars and not enough local entertainment. Wouldn't want to bring children there as there is not much for them to do.recommend hiring a bike and cycling along the excellent cycle paths to Puerto del Carmen.

Flat walking wherever you go, in either direction along the endless seafront paved pathways. Town has lots of facilities and extends to small commercial estate through an underpass to larger shopping facilities as well. Lots of catered establishments for a variety of dining and drinking experiences as well as basic health and welfare for everyone. Beaches are wonderful sand and blue sea at all times. Buses are frequent and offer both directions to/from airport as well as capital or south on island. Plenty of on-street parking that is completely free at all times to park a hire car safely. Feels safe for single female to walk alone even at night.

A small town with plenty of people around using the facilities for their daily life. Not a lot of choice of places to eat but enough the fakily run Spanish Taverna was amazing this I would recommend the best value ever and so friendly. Shut on a Sunday so you are warned lol!!!

Wonderful little town sit in the past, no noises apart from the sea and the wind. Breataking cliff as a background, wonderful sand beach for spectacular walks! The town has dirt roads, it seems belonging to another time, enchanting, white, no advertisement as Manrique (the local artist of Lanzarote) worked with politicians to keep a visual decor (all hourses withe, two floors only, no advertisment). It was paradise for me! Just being there and admire the athmosphere!

Where we stayed in Yaiza was very quiet. A great location for a large group like ours but a must is to have a hire car to enable you to travel freely in and out of more lively areas around the island.

I was there in early March, and it did feel a bit off-...

I was there in early March, and it did feel a bit off-seasony and quiet. Some of the cafes I had wanted to try were closed until the end of March. Still, a small handful of good restaurants, and easy access by road to the other parts of the island, so it was a good base to explore from. I recommend Ikarus for fresh fish, Boutique del pan-San Rafael for coffee, and the Creperia for cheap/cheerful tapas and drinks outside with music. I found the locals all very friendly.

Puerto Calero is has a small marina, and is not too busy, it is great to walk along the cliff top paths, one to Puerto del Carmen, and in the opposite direction to Playa Quemada, both walks taking around an hour.
