- The rooms are quit, spacious and clean. - There is a hidden walkway down to the level of the city centre, which is super convenient - The gym is well equipped - The spa area has all you need, was super relaxing - The 2 rooftops (1 bar, 1 pool) are amazing! The view was really good (we had the best view to see the fireworks during big week) - The staff is coming by every day asking if we need more water on the room and they also bring sweets before bedtime

This place was a fantastic find. The location is perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet very close to Zumaia, Getaria, and Zarautz. The building is a beautiful old house full of charm, surrounded by a lovely garden. I especially enjoyed the cosy terrace, great for breakfast and dinner or just relaxing with a coffee and checking emails. My room was very nice—comfortable, clean, and with easy access from the outside stairs. The host, Ramón, is incredibly friendly and welcoming, as is the rest of the staff. Breakfast was stunning—delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Overall, excellent value for money. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The welcome was great, the staff were really pleasant. We got a lovely room with a sea and mountain view. It was our wedding anniversary and there was a nice bottle of cava in the room. They were very thoughtful. Breakfast was good and the Thalassotherapy spa was very relaxing. We used the spa every day. The location was great as it had a beach, walks, several restaurants and some nice bars in the immediate location. Plus it was a 20 minute drive into the centre of San Sebastian from there.

For the prise - you will be surprised how good it is. Nice shower, beds ok, clean, good size fridge, kitchenete, coffee machine, water boiler, tv (did not use, but one is there), good wifi, outside sitting area, view towards mountains.... But be aware - this is a place for those travelling with a car. There is nothing in easy walk distance. But also therefore area is quite and feels safe. It is clearly a family travel oriented hotel. Take your breakfast and snacks with you.

Excellent location- quiet, stunning views the ocean, 10 min drive to the center of Donostia. Decent local restaurant at a walking distance down the road. The place itself is well looked after both inside and outside. Friendly staff speaking good English and French. Tasty breakfast. There is a vending machine just outside the house, so you can grab a cold beer or coke if you get back late.

It's only 15-minute walk from the Donostia Airport. The town is small, so we could walk almost all of the town enjoying the town view. The hotel is totally clean, with good atmosphere and gorgeous sea view. The staff are so kind friendly. It takes only 30 minutes by bus to Donostia, so we could easily enjoy the tourism there staying in this good parador.

This is a very nice hotel located in the residential area of San Sebastian but still within a walking distance from the beach and the old town (20-25min). The room was gorgeous, very quiet and well-equipped. Our dog was very welcome as well.

The old historic town was the purpose of the stop over which...

The old historic town was the purpose of the stop over which didn't disappoint. Food and atmosphere was amazing, the Sport Bar was the highlight and main reason with its amazing pintxos. it was a revisit after 13 years with the boys being a bit older but still remember their first visit. We did sample some other eateries and the food was equally as good. just wish we had more time. On a downer, wish we had prior warning of the LEZ tourist permission required prior to check-in at our hotel in the old quarter.

We found the Atalaia an ideal stopping off point on our journey to Spain and we will return again. We loved the style and size of the rooms and the modern clean bathroom. Staff were very friendly and only deficit was a lack of coffee/tea in the room.

Zarautz is an impossibly quaint, clean, and beautiful town with one of the best surfing beaches in Spain, and possibly Europe. It is a town that is so picturesque it could be in its own movie. The shops are beautiful and tasteful. The restaurants serve some of the best food I've ever tasted. And the beach is huge and absolutely stunning. Everywhere you turn you are rewarded by a beautiful view.

Our 3rd visit to Hondarribia. Wonderful historic centre. Great beach area. Unique in that there is a little boat that crosses to France in 7 mins. Many restaurants and bars. Can be very lively, particularly during festivals.

If you stay for a few days and want to explore the area and...

If you stay for a few days and want to explore the area and get involved with the local culture then this is the hotel for you. If you are just passing through and require an early and quiet evening then this probably isn't the place for you as you are above admittedly an excellent restaurant but unfortunately a little too noisy. Great location though with plenty of parking.

Good value of money.

Good value of money. Quiet comfortable and staffs are very accomodating. We did enjoy Our stay. Maybe if they have other choices for breakfast everything will be perfect😊location is also good. Not far not close but accessible to the nearest bus stop.

A very nice, walkable, small town.

A very nice, walkable, small town. A great beach with simple food/bar but also flysch rock formations. Several excellent hikes right from town center. A harbor and breakwater. Decent food and five minute drive from Getaria with fabulous grilled seafood both casual and Michelin class.

Stay here a night at local hotel/winery which is up on the hill. I would come earlier in the day and in weekend to enjoy the town shops. We came on Thursday middle of October which most restaurant closed but the one next to the beach was opened, it was absolutely the best grill fish and octopus I ever had. The town is nice in the evening with yellow light and very relaxing. Balenciaga museum is a good visit too after our check-out. Also many sight-seeing nature spot between Getaria and Zumaia.

Orio is a lovely little sea side town.

Orio is a lovely little sea side town. Not picturesque as such, the beach is the main draw and the town has shops, bars and restaurants enough to make a stay fun. The locals all seemed very friendly and welcoming. In this area few speak Engligh (one attraction for us) but all the shop and restaurant staff were patient while we worked through Google Tranlate or my little phrase book.

This is a most beautiful city, filled with character and even though we visited in winter, the weather was very mild and sunny and much less busy compared with the summer months. The city is exceptionally clean and safe. I would highly recommended place to visit for 3-4 days. Excellent bars and pintxos.
