We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff — especially Mr. Anter from FB, Aziza from FO, and Menna from FB — were incredibly kind, funny, and helpful. The hotel has its own beautiful private beach with crystal-clear water and soft white sand. Our room was spacious and very clean. During our stay, we also recommend visiting Salt Salman, located just across the road, for a relaxing experience. Cleopatra’s Bath & Beach and the Sea Eye are definitely worth a visit as well. Of course, you can also simply unwind on the beach and listen to the calming sound of the waves. The sunrise and sunset were breathtaking, and all the staff were polite and attentive. Mr. Anter, in particular, was a great joker and made us laugh a lot. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back, insha’Allah. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

This place is so tranquil with friendly staff who are always happy to help when you ask for it! Even though there was a language barrier, we were able to communicate through google translate which worked out fine for us. We asked the owner to help organise a desert tour and it was the most enjoyable activity we did in Siwa! The accommodation is clean with a beautifully maintained garden, nice hot showers, good working A/C and solid beakfast that will get you through your morning of activities/sightseeing. We often walked into the centre of town which took us 15-20 mins or you can hail down a tuk tuk along the road. Thank you for your kind hospitality Erighin Siwa Hotel!

The staff team really went above and beyond to welcome us to their new hotel and make our stay extra special. Our bags were kindly brought up to our room, which was spotless - clean and tidy. Our breakfast the next morning was delightful, and we got to explore the facilities which are brand new all around ahead of being picked up by our guide. When we returned, the room had been cleaned and tidied once again - which was a lovely surprise. When we needed to check out first thing the following morning, the staff team kindly still prepared breakfast and coffee for us to go and helped us with our bags once again. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or come back. The best stay in Siwa!

I liked the vibe of the place, it's very Cozy, warm and a high positive energy. Mr Ebrahim was very helpful, welcoming and friendly. I found everything I needed. It was one of my best times and experiences. You feel like you're at home. Very simple, quite and relaxing 😌 I would definitely recommend the place for anyone who want to have a memorable experience in Siwa with a reasonable budget. Just perfect. I loved, enjoyed and lived my stay to the max.

Very spacious traditional accommodation. Well decorated and charming presentation enabling you to relax totally after a day’s exploring around Siwa. The pool is spotless clean as is the property and rooms. Breakfast on the terrace with surrounding views is also a treat. Breakfast is great sustaining you through the day. Staff always around to assist and the chief Mustafa makes sure everything is working professionally. Also a good central location 15 minute walk into town.

Swimming in the hyper saline lake by the salt mine, jumping into Cleopatra spring, driving around the sand dunes and sand boarding, dinner in the desert, late night markets were experiences not easily available elsewhere. The Mountain of the Dead and Amon Temple as impressive as many Egyptian landmarks but without the crowds. Most tourists are Egyptians from other parts of the country. As obvious foreigners, we were never hassled, never ripped off and felt welcome everywhere we went. When asking for places to shop, we were shown general areas rather than individual shops. We did tip for services, and while it was appreciated, it was clearly not expected. Need at least two days to see and enjoy the town; three would probably be better. There are no street signs so getting around can be a challenge. Even our driver decided to hire his own driver, which was pretty funny as our driver then became a second tour guide.

The town itself isn’t geared for tourists as there are no restaurants that cater for you if you don’t speak Arabic. If you are happy to stay in your hotel to eat then you’ll be fine. We were there for 3 nights having travelled from the desert in Siwa & it was a great place to rest for a few days before heading back to Cairo & our flight home.

It is a beautiful place,the ocean is breathtaking my only issue was because it was winter time,everything was closed like a lot of the water sports companies I called or restaurants.There was no fun activities to do.

It’s place for kids to spend time on swimming, swimming pool safe and good but it’s not good place for tourist , entertainment is poor and nothing around the hotel , food is not good , we can not swim in the sea because waves was very strong

Mr. Mahmoud was such a friendly and helpful host. From day one, he took care of everything and made sure we felt comfortable throughout our stay. A welcome gift was waiting for us when we arrived, which was such a sweet gesture. The place was super clean and fully equipped with everything we could need, making our stay really comfortable. I’d definitely recommend it for your next trip.

Amazing , completely different experience from anything else I have ever seen The magic of the pure nature , amazing sights ,power of refreshing salt water lakes mixed with the relaxation power of the hot spring which touch your soul not only body Siwa Oasis especially Tulip Camp is the most powerful Antidepressant anxiolytic medication in the world

Was the best surprise in our trip to Egypt. Marsa Matruh has two of the best beaches we ever saw in our lives: Cleopatra and Agiba. For sure we will be back. We loved also the Museum of Marsa Matruh. There is a McDonald's just in front of the beach, so you can eat your "big mac" or an ice cream with an amazing view!!! The people of the city are not very used to meet strangers in my opinion, it seems that differently of Sharm el Sheikh and Hurghada, Marsa Matruh is more focused for Egyptian tourism instead of foreigners, so not everybody speaks English there. Prices are cheaper than in other cities of Egypt. We had a taxi driver that became our friend even we only could talk using Google Translate. Very warm personality and we booked him to guide us in all the beaches in a day trip. We can't wait to return to those amazingly beautiful and crystal clear beaches!!!

The worst place I’ve ever been to in my life.

The worst place I’ve ever been to in my life. They humiliate you just to book a restaurant or go to the beach, with strange rules: entry is only allowed for couples, and for couples the woman must not be veiled. It’s extremely expensive, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to even consider going there.

It is not a city you can visit as a tourist.

It is not a city you can visit as a tourist. You need to book in a resort which you may leave once during your stay to have a dinner in one of the bedouin restaurants in the area. If you’re not going for business make sure to pick a resort with all facilities you might need.

Siwa stands out for its kind and respectful locals, a refreshing change from other parts of Egypt. The overnight journey from Cairo is long, but the stunning salt lakes made it absolutely worth it. Plus, Shali Fortress was a beauty!
